    Steve and Tracy

Coronation Street's Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow will become embroiled in a bitter feud in a forthcoming storyline, a report has claimed.

The pair, played by Simon Gregson and Kate Ford, end up at war after Steve discovers that Tracy was lying when she blamed Becky for her miscarriage, according to the Daily Star.

Steve's disgust towards Tracy is later expected to escalate when she refuses to move out of their new shared home of Number 13.

Determined that he doesn't want to live with Tracy, Steve reportedly recruits builder Owen Armstrong (Ian Puleston-Davies) to split the house down the middle with stud walls.

When Tracy vows to make life as difficult as possible for Steve by being the neighbour from hell, the former couple apparently spend weeks in a petty battle - cutting off each other's water and playing a series of other tricks.

A Coronation Street source told the newspaper: "Obviously they are raging, but for viewers it'll be hilarious to watch."

Reports have suggested that Becky will ruin Steve and Tracy's wedding later this month, storming into the ceremony to clear her name after obtaining proof of her arch-rival's deceit.

Becky will subsequently leave Weatherfield as Katherine Kelly has decided to bow out from the show after six years.

Coronation Street continues tonight at 8.30pm on ITV1.

The only farce is what the source told the newspaper. Another crap storyline on prime time viewing. plus a pathetic attempt to try and endear Traceyluv And Steve. Can't wait for the Becky confrontation, hope its top drawer that will keep me going for awhile.

Corrie seem all about Stelllaaaaarrrrggggghhhhh and Traceyluv at the moment. Two of the most useless characters to appear in any soap. One heads off to New York at Christmas with Phil Collinson and the other is friendly with Daran Little

    It gets worse.

Coronation Street star Kate Ford has predicted that her scheming character Tracy Barlow will carry on loving Steve McDonald even after their upcoming wedding goes wrong.

Tracy and Steve are currently planning to tie the knot next week, but feisty Becky McDonald is expected to throw a spanner in the works on the big day.

Becky (Katherine Kelly) is fighting to clear her name after Tracy falsely accused her of causing her miscarriage. After obtaining proof of her enemy's lies, Becky heads to the wedding ceremony to expose Tracy's true colours once and for all.

Ford told PA: "Tracy thinks it's in the bag. She gets there, she looks round, she feels a million dollars, she sees Becky sat there in the crowd and she starts to panic.

"[Tracy] is still obsessed with him. It's been going on since they were at school together, hasn't it? I think she'll always love Steve - I think he is the love of her life."

The actress also explained that working alongside Simon Gregson, who plays Steve, is always an enjoyable experience.

"We do laugh a lot. Simon's really funny," she said. "When he's acting as well, he does really funny things that just come out when we're rehearsing and stuff."

Coronation Street star Simon Gregson has confirmed that he has no plans to move on from the soap.

The actor has played the role of Weatherfield's Steve McDonald since 1989 and continues to be at the centre of dramatic storylines on the cobbles.

Gregson told the Worksop Guardian: "I'm more than happy to spend the rest of my career in Coronation Street. I've pretty much grown up there, so I've known the guys who have started out as runners and gone on to produce.

"I know everybody there, so for me it's like going to school. My mate calls it kindergarten!"

Coronation Street fans will see a big moment for Steve next week as the day of his ill-fated wedding to Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) arrives.

However, Gregson added: "He doesn't really love Tracy. He's doing it for all the right reasons - because of the children. Of course, she's had the horrible thing where she's lost the babies, and he feels as though he's got to stand by [her].

"He's deeply upset about losing the children - that's 80% of the reason why he's getting married, the other 20% being Amy. He just wants to get the wedding over and done with really, and get out!"

As fans already know, Steve's vengeful ex Becky (Katherine Kelly) ends up gatecrashing the ceremony to clear her name following Tracy's false allegations over her miscarriage.

Coronation Street continues tonight at 8.30pm on ITV1.

Why do we have to have yet another wedding go wrong? If they think it adds more drama then they're wrong. So boring!

Pity Slapper Owen didn't push the pair of 'em into the creosote pool. Don't worry about leaving Mr Gregson ,Messrs Collinson and little Marcus seem hellbent on keeping as many crap actors in the show as possible.
