Coronation Street's Becky McDonald will get the last laugh in her war against Tracy Barlow by ruining her wedding, a report has claimed.

Tracy (Kate Ford) has been tipped to return to her devious ways in the coming weeks when she accuses Becky of killing her unborn twins by pushing her down a set of stairs.

However, viewers will know that Tracy is lying as she suffers a natural miscarriage a few days earlier - and her subsequent fall occurs when she slips accidentally during an argument with Becky (Katherine Kelly).

According to the Daily Star today, Becky will resort to desperate measures when her ex Steve (Simon Gregson) believes new lover Tracy over her. It is thought that Becky breaks into the Weatherfield medical centre and steals Tracy's records, which prove that the schemer's tragic baby loss had nothing to do with her.


Sources say that Becky reveals the news just as Steve is about to marry Tracy, storming into the ceremony to clear her name.

Becky is then expected to leave the cobbles for good as she heads to Dubai with new boyfriend Danny Stratton (Jeremy Sheffield).

When Steve races to the airport in a last-ditch attempt to win her back, Becky apparently tells him: "You had your chance, McDonald. In fact you had loads of chances and blew 'em all. And I've finally met the man who I know I'll love unconditionally and that he'll love me the same way, so no way Jose."

While storyline details remain unconfirmed by Coronation Street bosses, fans know that Becky's final scenes will air in early 2012.

Absolutely, it will be worth recording this episode for the occasional replay. Let's hope ,Traceyluv and Dreary choke on the wedding cake, whilst Ken delivers a lecture on the stupidity of releasing his daughter from prison.

But Coronations Street couple Steve and Becky McDonald look set for showdown in the middle of Manchester Airport.
Becky, played by Katherine Kelly, makes an attempt to swap Weatherfield for Dubai with new man Danny Stratton, but her husband has other plans.



The trio come face-to-face in the departures lounge as Steve, portrayed by Simon Gregson, makes a last minute dash to try and stop Becky leaving with her lover, played by Jeremy Sheffield.

Becky and Steve hit a rocky patch earlier this year after the return of Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), who revealed they bought son Max from Kylie, resulting in them losing custody of him.
Since then, Steve has embarked on a relationship with Tracy with plans to marry each other.
Blinded by love, he even believes Tracy when she accuses Becky of killing her unborn twins by pushing her down a set of stairs.

In an interview with This Morning, Katherine was asked why Becky and Steve's romance failed.
She said: 'Because I handed my notice in and they had to break us up!

'I think if I wasn't going, I really think that it would still go on. In fact, I know when Kate Ford came back, I spoke to the producer and he said, "This is what is going to happen, and if you decide to stay then it won't break them up, and if you do decide to go then it will break them up."'
She added: 'I'm already tearing up, my leaving do I might not bother putting mascara on that night! Well she might not be away forever, we'll see.'
According to the Daily Star, when Steve races to the airport in a final attempt to win Becky back, she says: 'You had your chance, McDonald. In fact you had loads of chances and blew them all.

'And I've finally met the man who I know I'll love unconditionally and that he'll love me the same way, so no way Jose.'
