But Laurel is not in love with Ashley then. So if Laurel didn't have any kids would that mean she would not have an affair with Marlon then? It just seems to me that Laurel is doing things out of duty and not love. Laurel doesn't love Ashley she's just staying with him so she doesn't lose her kids that's not love.

After the way Laurel blew up at Marlon, I wonder what's left between them? Mind you, I noticed in the Dec spoilers that Laurel confesses to Nicola about Marlon, so I guess the madness continue?? But it's an odd storyline?
