Coming up in Emmerdale, Nikhil Sharma's jealousy over Gennie's relationship with Nicky will soon reach new heights - leading to a violent showdown.

Nikhil (Rik Makarem) becomes convinced that Nicky is cheating on Gennie when he spots the charming vet looking cosy on a night out with another woman. His suspicions are fuelled later in the week when Nicky leaves his phone on the bar at The Woolpack and a call from 'Fit Vicky' flashes up.

When Nikhil accuses Nicky (Matt Milburn) of doing the dirty on Gennie, his bubble is burst as he learns that 'Fit Vicky' is actually an old mate of Nicky's who is now married to his brother.

However, as the week continues, it seems that Nikhil is unable to let this go. Discovering that Nicky has made a suspicious excuse for missing work, Nikhil follows his rival to a pub and sees him giving Vicky a kiss on the cheek during a secret meeting.

Later, back at The Woolpack, Nikhil is on the warpath and punches Nicky in front of shocked punters. However, he's soon left totally humiliated when Vicky enters and Nicky explains that she's merely helping to get Gennie a job at a car dealership.

Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) is furious at Nikhil's constant inference and screams at him to leave her alone from now on. Has Nikhil blown his chances with Gennie for good?

Monday

Debbie and Andy pay another visit to the hospital and are crushed when Dr Armah tells them that the donor has pulled out. When the doctor explains the alternative treatments, Debbie's determined to save Sarah, vowing that she and Andy will have another baby as a saviour sibling. Dr Armah warns them it might not be the answer and there'll be difficulties if they're not a couple. However, Andy's shocked when Debbie insists they are together.

Back home, Andy questions Debbie about another baby but is caught when she tells him that she couldn't live with herself if they didn't try and it may be the only way of saving Sarah. They argue, but Andy knows she's right and tells her he needs time to think about it, worrying what it will do to Cameron and Alicia…

Meanwhile, Moira's exasperated when John is too busy to have a proper talk about their marriage. She also continues to fight temptation at The Woolpack as Cain teases her about what happened between them. Later, Moira pays a visit to Cain at the garage and warns him about threatening her marriage and family. However, when he moves in to kiss her, Moira gives into temptation once again.

Elsewhere, Nikhil is resentful over how Nicky is treating Gennie, while Chas tries to talk to Aaron about the counselling and is heartened by a flicker of optimism from him.

Tuesday

Andy finally agrees to have another baby with Debbie and tells her that they need to tell Alicia and Cameron, both knowing how hard it will be. Soon afterwards, Alicia and Cameron are puzzled when Andy and Debbie want to speak to them. However, all becomes clear when the pair reveal that they're going to have a saviour sibling. Cameron struggles to take in the news, while Alicia asks questions.

When Debbie tells Andy and Alicia to go home and talk about things, Andy worries that Debbie will reveal they have to pretend to be a couple. Alone with Debbie, Cameron says that he feels like he should have been included in the plan and wants there to be no more secrets. However, Debbie knows she's still keeping something from him. Debbie wants Andy to agree to tell their partners the whole truth, but is shocked when he refuses - he can't lose Alicia...

Meanwhile, Nikhil and David head out to a bar together. The pair end up embarrassing themselves in front of two women, Steph and Jess, as David talks non-stop about Leyla and announces that Nikhil is obsessed with Gennie. Later, the pair spot Nicky entering the bar and Nikhil's furious when he sees him greet an attractive woman with a kiss.

Elsewhere, when Moira sees Cain in the pub she tries to tell him that it's over, but Cain's not interested.

Wednesday

Chas and Charity are dumbfounded when Debbie reveals that she and Andy are planning to have another baby to save Sarah. Debbie feels bad about not telling Cameron that she and Andy are pretending to be a couple, while the atmosphere is tense between Andy and Alicia over the plan. Alicia finally relents when Andy explains that Sarah could die if they don't try this, but he feels awkward as he knows that he's holding back the whole truth.

Later, Andy worries when he sees that Debbie's put Tug Ghyll as his address on the IVF forms, but he goes ahead and signs the forms. As the day continues, Alicia's excited after getting her job back at the pub but Andy's unenthusiastic and tells her that he hasn't been honest. When Andy explains that he and Debbie are pretending to be a couple for the IVF application, Alicia's upset - this changes everything…

Meanwhile, Moira sees Cain watching her and heads over to warn him off. She tries to push him away when he kisses her, but she's powerless and feels disgusted that she's got into this mess. Later, while at home cooking the tea, Moira scalds herself and her temper snaps. She throws the pan across the floor and starts to cry.

Elsewhere, Gennie's back and a jealous Nikhil considers telling her about Nicky's antics, while Charity hides her nerves when Jai tells her that his parents are coming tomorrow.

Thursday

Andy pleads the case with Alicia, who says that although she understands he's doing this for Sarah, she's not happy about it. Soon afterwards, Alicia's irritable as she arrives at work late and is angry as she tells Cameron that the situation with Debbie and Andy is killing her. She immediately realises that she's let the cat out of the bag about them pretending to be a couple.

Later, Cameron enters Tug Ghyll as Dr Abbott's just seen Sarah, who's staying off school after having a nose bleed. The doctor tells Debbie that the clinic have been asking about her personal circumstances, and she replies that she and Andy are together. As Dr Abbott leaves, Cameron is seething and Debbie tries to defend the situation.


Meanwhile, Charity is keen to impress as she prepares for Jai's parents Georgia and Rishi paying a visit, so she secretly prepares ready meals. As she unwraps the packaging, Charity warns Nikhil not to say anything. When Mr and Mrs Sharma arrive, Rishi greets Charity, but Georgia's insulting and harder to impress. At the table, Georgia interrogates Charity about her career and Charity is mortified when they find out that she's served a ready meal.

Elsewhere, Nikhil is furious to see Nicky getting a call from 'Fit Vicky' when he leaves his phone on the bar; Diane's taken aback when Moira confesses that she's been sleeping with a man she detests; while Declan is not returning Mia's calls and Katie is furious that he won't speak to his daughter.

Debbie's defensive as she follows a raging Cameron out of the house, telling him that she's scared and doesn't want to go through this on her own. At the pub, Alicia and Cameron unite in their suffering over the situation. Having second thoughts, Andy wants to come clean to the consultant, but is astounded when Debbie takes it further - telling him that he'll have to move in with her in order to prove their relationship. Andy insists that he's not moving in, but Debbie thinks this means he is giving up on Sarah.

As Debbie and Andy share the news, Cameron's shocked by the latest twist in the plan. Alicia says that Cameron can stay with her when Andy moves in, explaining that she has to accept it because they'll go ahead anyway. However, Cameron can't accept the situation so Debbie tells him that she's better off on her own and he goes, emotional and defeated.


Meanwhile, Priya arrives to join the rest of the Sharmas. Georgia advises Charity never to serve a ready meal again but seems to soften towards her. However, Charity knows that she has another bridge to build with Priya. Later, they're all railroaded when Priya announces that she's moving in!

Elsewhere, Nikhil is left defeated when Gennie accuses him of hacking Nicky's phone and spying on him, while Nicky warns Nikhil to stay away from them from now on; Diane advises Moira that it's not too late for her and John; Cain flirts with Priya in front of Moira; and Declan's irritable when Katie asks why he won't speak to Mia.


Friday

Nikhil's interested to hear Pearl say that Nicky's gone AWOL on a family emergency and he's been a bit flaky recently. Soon afterwards, Nikhil enters the office and hears Gennie say that Nicky is seeing some farm animals today. Nikhil sees Nicky about to leave and tells David the conflicting stories, following Nicky as he goes. However, David chases after him, thinking he's crazy. They end up following Nicky into a pub car park and they later see Nicky exit the pub with Vicky, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Later, at The Woolpack, Nikhil asks Nicky about his day and seeing red, he punches Nicky clumsily. However, Nikhil's mortified when Vicky enters and Nicky explains that she's helping to get Gennie a job at a car dealership. Nikhil heads out humiliated and Gennie follows, furious at his behaviour. He explains that he didn't want her to get hurt, but Gennie screams for Nikhil to leave them alone.


Meanwhile, Debbie apologises to Cameron for their row yesterday and they agree to talk. Cameron's still uneasy but agrees to the plan. Later, things are awkward as Andy takes his bag to Tug Ghyll and he and Debbie are concerned with Cameron's unhappiness as he packs to go to Alicia's. Sarah's excited about Andy staying, but he worries what they're going to tell everyone else.

Elsewhere, Priya puts her foot in it in the café when she asks Brenda what happened to Viv, while Katie tells Chas that Declan is shutting her out and wonders if he's worth the hassle.
