Liam hunts down Bianca's attacker and Bianca considers counselling. Marilyn and Roo reconcile. Romeo is devastated to find the boat vandalised, and is determined to find who's responsible.


Episode 5358 Wed August 10, 2011
Whilst Roo bonds with the Walker clan, Dex invites his mum, Sids ex-wife, to stay at the farm. Romeo and Harvey face off. Leah anxiously awaits the result of a pregnancy test.

Dex tells his mum not to come to stay. Charlie warns Ruby to stay clear of the Braxton house. Jake's out on bail and looking for Brax. Leah reveals her secret to Roo and Miles.

Leah makes a decision about a secret she's been hiding. Brax ends up in hospital. Charlie discovers a secret about Brax.

Home and Away star Steve Peacocke has spoken of how his character Brax's life is left hanging in the balance in a forthcoming storyline.

Scenes which air in Australia next week see Brax get stabbed by dangerous Jake (Fletcher Humphrys) as the gang battles over drugs in Summer Bay spiral out of control, according to TV Week.

When Casey and Ruby are held hostage by Jake, Brax is forced to deal with the situation by tracking down the bad boy and rescuing the teenagers.

"He's furious. He hates that what he does for business has crossed over into his personal life," Peacocke told the magazine.

However, as he comes face-to-face with Jake, a knife is brandished and Brax finds himself falling victim to a shocking attack.

"He's been stabbed in the back," Peacocke explained. "He knows he can't go to hospital so he tries to patch himself up. He's at death's door."

Subsequent scenes apparently see a weak Brax make his way to Angelo's restaurant, where his ex-girlfriend Charlie (Esther Anderson) finds him.

Peacocke added: "When she sees that she's almost lost him, it could make her re-evaluate what she thinks about him."

Monday episode 5356 - 08/08/11

After spotting her attacker (with a broad bull’s head tattoo) on the beach, Bianca frantically searches the area with Liam to find him again. With her attacker nowhere in sight, Liam and Bianca head to the police station to give them the update. However, it’s soon clear that finding the perpetrator will be difficult despite the new information. Bianca is left feeling desperate and Liam is the target of her frustration. Liam tells John that Bianca’s attacker was spotted on the beach yesterday, asking him to look out for the distinctive bull’s head tattoo. Later, when Kelly shows John a photo of her family, he spots Dean’s tattoo – it matches Liam’s description. As Liam and Bianca walk home, they cross paths with Dean (in his ute) and as Bianca registers his identity, a spooked Dean floors it and knocks Bianca down.

Kelly’s brother, Dean, is encouraging Kelly to sign over her share of the family farm. Xavier, sceptical of Dean’s agenda, suggests John double check the contract for Kelly. After a call to the Council, it becomes clear that Dean has intentions to sell off Kelly’s share of the land to a mining company. Kelly refuses to sign and Dean exits in a huff – he’ll be back when she wakes up to herself.

Alf has found himself in the middle of Marilyn and Roo’s war of silence and is determined to bring about a reconciliation. Alf hits on an idea – a compulsory house dinner that will force the two women to communicate.

Tuesday episode 5357 - 09/08/11

Liam discovers that Kelly’s brother, Dean, has a distinctive bull’s head tattoo – the same as Bianca’s assailant – and that he drives a red ute – the same vehicle that just knocked down Bianca. Liam confronts Kelly, dropping the bombshell that her brother raped Bianca, before he sets off in pursuit of Dean. On the highway, Liam chases down Dean’s ute on his motorbike and the pair grapple. Dean ends up at the Police Station.

When Kelly is confronted by April over Dean’s alleged involvement in Bianca’s rape and her hit and run, she is quick to defend her brother but when she finds out Bianca was drugged by Ketamine (horse tranquilizer) she reveals Dean had access to this drug on his farm. At the police station, Kelly confronts her brother, senses his guilt and makes a statement against him.

Bianca lies bruised and battered in the hospital following her hit and run. Though she is resistant to the idea, Irene and Sid convince her to consider counselling. When Liam returns to Bianca’s side, having seen Dean to the police station, Bianca is overcome with relief but we sense her ordeal is far from over.

Marilyn and Roo have been lumped together to prepare a dinner party for Alf. Though neither are pleased with the idea, they don’t have a choice and set to work. After a somewhat tense afternoon, they start to question where their dinner guests have got to, only to discover there was no dinner after all. It was a ruse by Alf to reconcile the feuding ladies. The pair sit down to a dinner for two. It seems Alf’s plan worked.

Romeo’s business hopes are dashed when he finds his newly equipped boat trashed at the wharf.

Wednesday episode 5358 - 10/08/11

Romeo is convinced that Harvey trashed his boat in an attempt to sink his business. Then, when he finds Harvey stealing his clients and blatantly copying his business ideas, Romeo decides to play rough and reports Harvey to the police as a suspect in the vandalism of the boat. The gloves are off and both men settle in for a war. But when Elijah inadvertently gives evidence to clear Harvey of the crime, Romeo apologises to Harvey. But it’s too late. Harvey isn’t interested in apologies and has just complained to the council about the fact Romeo and Alf don’t have a permit for their mooring. They’ll have to find a new place to dock their boat.

Roo and Sid are enjoying a new phase of their romance - free from public criticism. In an attempt at family bonding, the pair organise a day together on the farm with Indi and Dex. Indi’s attitude towards Roo has thawed and the four of them get into the spirit of things. It seems that Roo has finally found her place within the Walker clan. But Dex seems distracted by an email and reveals to Sid that his mother, Sid’s ex-wife, is coming to visit.

Miles is perplexed by Leah’s uncharacteristically cold attitude towards him. Despite his earnest attempts to make a connection, Miles is left confused as Leah keeps her distance. Once alone, Leah produces a pregnancy kit and waits nervously for the result – it’s positive.

Thursday episode 5359 - 11/08/11

Dex has been in contact with his mum, Sid’s ex-wife, and is begging Sid to let her come stay. Sid is very hesitant and insists that Indi needs to be convinced to accept the visit before it can proceed. However, Sid’s attempt to broach the subject with Indi is shut down briskly and when Dex has a go at it, Indi tells him their mum’s only going to bring pain and trouble for all of them. Ultimately, Dex calls his mum and apologises to her - now’s not a good time.

As the exams approach, Brax is doing his best to keep things stable at home for Casey. But when a protective Charlie arrives to retrieve Ruby, she warns that Jake Pirovic is out on bail, which is a clear and present danger to the Braxton clan. Charlie insists Ruby stop hanging around the Braxtons until the heat dies down.

Jake knows his pills are in the Braxtons’ possession and he’s not happy. Tegan arranges a meeting between him and Brax but when Brax doesn’t show, Jake takes his own collateral Casey and Ruby.

Leah is acting strange at work and her attitude towards Miles remains cold. When questioned by Roo, Leah finally reveals she’s pregnant and terrified (considering her last miscarriage). But with Roo’s encouragement, Leah meets Miles to tell him the news but confesses she can’t go through with the pregnancy.

Friday episode 5360 - 12/08/11

Miles is distraught after Leah’s confession that she doesn’t want to go through with the pregnancy and seeks advice from Alf and Elijah. He gathers the courage to state his case to Leah, who ultimately agrees with him that “fear isn’t a good enough reason” to end the pregnancy. Leah decides to have the baby and the pair are united in their excitement.

Brax arranges to meet Jake to swap his drugs in exchange for the safe return of Casey and Ruby. But the exchange quickly gets heated when Jake finds some of his drugs missing. Jake pulls a knife and the pair grapple - Brax tells Casey and Ruby to run for it. When Charlie arrives the next day to investigate the scene, she finds blood but no bodies.

Jake is hauled in for questioning but he remains tight-lipped. When Charlie arrives at Angelo’s looking for Brax, she finds him on the verge of passing out – he’s badly injured. At the hospital, Charlie keeps vigil at Brax’s hospital bedside. Now, more than ever, Charlie realises she can’t live without him. But later, Tegan arrives with her daughter, Darcy, announcing with great satisfaction that Darcy is here to see her father.
