Monday episode 5336 - 11/07/11

A despondent Xavier has discovered that April effectively cheated on him with Dex. In spite of this, Dex and April decide to go on their first public outing as a couple. However when they bump into Xavier on the beach, Dex cops a vengeful swing from Xavier and it’s clear that things are far from over in this scenario. In an attempt to cool things down, Xavier meets with April but when she realises Xavier wants them to get back together things quickly disintegrate and Xavier leaves fuming.

Sid and Roo have just started dating but Roo is adamant Sid must discuss their relationship with his kids before they go any further - Sid has just broken up with Marilyn and things are still a little messy.

With Indi and Romeo moving in together as husband and wife, Indi gets upset when she finds Sid having a quasi date with Roo. Furious she begins to wonder if Sid was cheating on Marilyn with Roo. Indi confronts Roo with what she knows but Roo insists she speak with Sid. Indi tells Roo that Marilyn deserves to know – and that she’s about to find out.

Tuesday episode 5337 - 12/07/11

Having found April and Dex together, Xavier is in a foul mood. As problems with work continue to pile up on him Xavier is surprised when he runs into Summer, an attractive girl from school, who convinces him to ditch work for a party. Xavier takes the chance to sneak off from work, borrow the work scooter and drive Summer to the party… till disaster strikes.

Marilyn is down in the dumps a little in the aftermath of the break-up with Sid. When Indi consoles Marilyn, she’s shocked to find that Sid hasn’t told Marilyn the truth about Roo. At Indi’s urgings Sid visits Marilyn to confess. The truth hurts.

Indi is still angry at Roo and Roo is starting to feel the pressure living under the same roof as Sid’s daughter. Sid and Roo tell Indi this is none of her business, but Indi still feels their relationship and what they’ve done to Marilyn is wrong. Roo is at a loss so Sid suggests she move in with him for a while until the dust settles. After some trepidation, Roo decides they should go for it.

Wednesday episode 5338 - 13/07/11

In the aftermath of the accident, Xavier has to deal with the consequences of his actions. As John takes him to task over his immature behaviour, Xavier tells him to back off – he’s not his dad. But when Summer’s dad attacks Xavier in the hospital for putting his daughter’s life at risk, it’s John that steps in to defend Xavier – a gesture that gets Xavier and John back on track.

When Xavier goes to see Brax, Brax drops a bombshell – he’s fired and has to replace the scooter. John agrees to cover the scooter and offers Xavier some advice about Dex and April – forgiveness is the best revenge.

Brax is surprised when Morag comes for a visit to Angelo’s and starts asking a lot of questions about him. Unsure of her motivation, Brax is friendly but he soon realises that Morag knows a lot more about his relationship with Charlie than he would expect. Morag leaves Charlie with a warning about Brax.

Meanwhile, Heath is becoming increasingly unimpressed with Brax’s choices. Certain Brax is losing commitment to the River Boys, Heath offers himself as the new leader. Brax laughs off the idea. Later, Brax heads to the beach and is annoyed to find Casey with the River Boys telling him to go home to study. Heath openly questions Brax’s authority but he’s shut down when Casey goes home and the loyal River Boys follow Brax into the surf.

Thursday episode 5339 - 14/07/11

It has been a long time since they’ve heard from Liam and April convinces Bianca to try Liam’s mobile, but it has been disconnected. April later tries the clinic where Liam has been staying to find he checked himself out over a week ago. April relays the news to a devastated Bianca.

Roo gets a little unwanted heat from Colleen when she visits the Diner and does her best to hose down rumours that she stole Sid from Marilyn. When Marilyn crosses with Roo at the Diner later the pair agree that they can’t avoid each other forever. It’s a truce… for now.

Heath is frustrated with Brax’s growing distance from the River Boys and challenges his leadership by taking charge of a gang drug deal. Brax meanwhile is worried about Casey mixing with River Boys – steering him away from their activities. But Heath conversely pulls Casey closer to the Boys – inviting him to a beach party instead of studying.

Charlie thinks that Casey would be less likely to hang with the River Boys if Brax did the same. When Brax hears about Heath’s beach party he heads over to try and calm the shenanigans. But when he finds Casey and Ruby in the middle of the River Boys he steps up to Heath and makes the decision to walk away from the River Boys for good.

Friday episode 5340 - 15/07/11

The B&S Ball preparations are frantic and Roo is further frazzled when Indi boycotts the ball. Marilyn, wanting to be part of the good cause the B&S is supporting, decides to lend a hand. However when she arrives at the farm Marilyn is upset to find Roo in her old house.

Dex falls into a money making opportunity when country boy Dean and his sister Kelly pay him for a camping spot on the farm overnight. Meanwhile Xavier arrives at the Ball, brought along by John and Gina, and is miserable at the sight of happy Dex and April. However, Kelly coaxes him into conversation and it seems there’s a new spark for Xavier.

With all the B&S attendees flooding into Summer Bay, the Diner does a roaring trade for the day. Unwelcome customers Heath and the River Boys loiter around the Diner at night, but Heath, having seen a flyer for the B&S Ball, decides to crash the party.

Meanwhile, since discovering Liam’s AWOL from rehab, Bianca has been moping all day and decides to drown her sorrows at the B&S Ball – a decision she’ll later regret
