    6th June

Eddie Moon arrives on Albert Square in a cab and knocks on the door of The Vic. As he waits outside, he spots Amy on the road as she has wandered off from Roxy's flat. To Eddie's horror, Amy is about to be knocked over by Carol's car so he quickly runs out into the road to save her and gets run over by the vehicle himself. Kat, Whitney and Mo all rush to assist him, but Kat is confused when she spots that Eddie has a newspaper cutting which mentions her, Alfie and Tommy. She wants to confront him but is interrupted when they enter the pub and Alfie welcomes the stranger as "uncle Eddie".

Kat is horrified as she realises that Eddie is Michael's father and when she spots him holding Tommy, she quickly takes the baby away from him. Michael soon enters but it seems that there's bad blood between father and son as he turns around and walks out when he spots Eddie. Returning to the flat, Michael is distant with Roxy and leaves her confused when he heads out without telling her where he's going. Later, Eddie comes to the end of his visit and gives Alfie his number in case Michael ever wants to get in touch. Alfie feels sorry for him and tells Eddie that he's actually Tommy's grandfather...

Meanwhile, a drunken Shirley argues with Phil as she questions whether he's really been attending his support meetings. However, Phil brings the row to a close by giving Shirley her engagement ring to wear again. Later, Shirley decides to follow Phil to his meeting, but as Phil knows what she's doing, he turns around and orders her to go home as he can be trusted to attend as planned. As the meeting gets under way, it's time for Rainie to tell her story and she discusses her and Phil's relationship among other things. She also later tells Phil that she misses him. As Phil returns home, he spots that Shirley is wearing the engagement ring and continues to keep her in the dark over Rainie's presence at the meetings.

Elsewhere, Carol and Ricky attend Bianca's court date and are relieved when she gets a short sentence; Afia informs Masood that he is not welcome at the wedding, but when she tells Tamwar this, he asks his father to be involved in the ceremony; Lauren tells a horrified Whitney that she fancies Ryan but is left embarrassed when he refuses to let her buy him a drink at The Vic; and Carol is not impressed when Eddie convinces Ricky to accept the job in Dubai.

    7th June

Michael is in a drunken state following Eddie's arrival and soon receives a visit from Kat, who wants reassurance that he still wants nothing to do with Tommy despite his father now knowing the truth, which Michael confirms. Kat is annoyed with Alfie for telling Eddie the truth about Tommy and makes it clear to their guest that she wants him to leave as soon as possible. Later, however, Kat and Eddie have a heart-to-heart about their respective problems and Alfie is shocked by the sudden change in the pair's relationship. At the same time, Roxy questions Michael about the situation with his father, but he doesn't want to tell her anything about it.

Later, during a fight night at the boxing ring, Eddie starts getting to know Jack, Mo and Roxy. However, Michael isn't happy and hands Eddie money, telling him to use it to take 'Anthony, Frankie and Tyler' on holiday somewhere far away. Eddie refuses to take it, though, and asks his son what it will take for him to move on from their dispute. Michael then heads back to the flat, where Ronnie is looking after Amy. Ronnie takes the opportunity to apologise to Michael over everything that happened with Tommy. Michael then spots Roxy, Alfie and Eddie all chatting happily on the Square and it's clear that he's not happy to see Eddie settling in so well…

Meanwhile, Max makes a flirtatious call to Tanya and seems completely uninterested over the fact that Vanessa is preparing an anniversary gift for him. Later, Vanessa hears a conversation about Lauren liking Ryan and becomes concerned about the matter. She confides her fears in Max, who promises that they will talk about it later. Vanessa prepares a candelit dinner for Max, but he's too busy visiting Tanya to talk about Lauren and Ryan. When Max is late returning home, Vanessa gets upset and throws away the dinner that she's spent so much time on. Lauren feels sorry for her, but when Max finally gets back, he doesn't even realise that Vanessa is upset.

Elsewhere, Ricky leaves to take up his new job in Dubai, while Janine and Lydia argue but later call a truce when Lydia has a fall at the flat.

    9th June

Eddie offers to buy Michael a drink when they bump into each other on the Square, but Michael brushes him off and orders his father to stay away from Tommy. Soon afterwards, Roxy asks Michael why he left the boxing event so early last night, but he lies by telling her that he just had business to take care of. As the day continues, Roxy sees Eddie on the Square and invites him over for tea. Although Eddie is reluctant, he agrees to the idea and pays his visit as planned. When Michael arrives home to find Eddie there, he isn't happy but he decides to put on a front. Eddie leaves not long afterwards, though, sensing that he's outstayed his welcome.

With Eddie gone, Michael argues with Roxy over her decision to invite him over. Michael heads to The Vic to speak to Eddie again, but the situation descends into a row over Tommy. Despite the tension, it seems that Eddie could be sticking around in the Square for a while as Kat and Alfie offer him a place to stay at The Vic for as long as he wants. Back at the flat, Roxy and Michael have another argument as Roxy demands that he tells her why he and Eddie are on bad terms. Will Michael tell her the truth?

Meanwhile, a scheming Max starts trying to get on friendly terms with Greg by chatting to him about home improvements at The Vic, convinced that he can take up time that the builder would otherwise be spending with Tanya. However, Tanya senses that Max is up to something and orders him to stay away from Greg. Later, Tanya is shocked to hear that Greg has cancelled dinner plans with her in order to do some work on Max's house. Tanya is determined that Max won't succeed in keeping her apart from Greg, so she storms over to Max's house and gets Greg to leave.

Elsewhere, Rainie tries to get close to Phil but he pushes her away; Syed gets annoyed when he realises that Christian has told Roxy about their engagement, but Roxy advises him that he needs to stop holding back when it comes to the relationship; Lydia is hiding how ill she really is but won't respond to Janine's questions over her health; and Shirley offers to stay sober with Phil as support but Phil soon sees that she's fallen off the wagon.

    10th June

Tanya persuades Greg to take a day off so they can spend the morning in bed. However, the pair's plans are interrupted by Max, who turns up on their doorstep wanting to have more discussions with Greg over building works. Tanya is furious over Max's behaviour and later confronts him when they get a moment alone. Max seizes this opportunity to get close to Tanya and an intimate moment follows between them. But Tanya soon snaps at Max and orders him to leave her alone.

Later, Tanya brings a designer to Max's house, hoping that the third party will prove a distraction and prevent him from talking to Greg. When the Jessops are at home later, Greg suggests to Tanya that they should have children of their own, but Tanya isn't sure over the idea. As the day continues, Tanya and Max bump into each other at the café and as they have another argument, Tanya tells her ex that Greg wants them to have children.

Meanwhile, Phil leaves Rainie disappointed when he refuses to be her sponsor as she continues her rehabilitation. Later, she has a chat with Michael but he takes his frustration out on her, winding her up with sleazy conversation before becoming threatening, which leaves Rainie shaken. Rainie soon meets up with her drug dealer John, but Phil is watching and notices that she's picked up a substance from him. Wanting to help Rainie, Phil throws away her purchase. That evening, Rainie thanks Phil for helping her earlier and he finally promises that he'll be there if she needs anything.

Elsewhere, Janine and Lydia seem to be bonding as they take a trip out together, but they're later forced to return to the flat when Pat phones and asks Janine to look after Tiffany. Lydia quickly becomes a fan of Tiffany's cheeky behaviour and everything goes well. However, when Pat arrives later to pick up Tiffany, she makes a nasty comment towards Lydia. Seeing that Lydia is hurt over the jibe, Janine tries to comfort her grandmother.
