Holby City Spoilers 7th December 2010

    Losing Game:

Elliot and Connie come to blows throughout the day as the medical drama continues. Elliot struggles to avoid getting overly involved with a patient, while Connie is dealing with her dad being admitted to Keller.

Things come to a head when Elliot walks out of theatre leaving Connie to explain the cancellation of an expensive procedure to Hanssen. Connie can defend her friend no longer and tells Hanssen that Elliot has become a liability, partly because of his angina.

Meanwhile, Joseph is forced to choose between Faye and Jac after the birth of his son. He realises where his responsibilities lie after Faye injures herself trying to leave the hospital. He halts divorces proceedings and Faye suggests calling the baby Harry. However, Joseph is gutted when he realises all his efforts have gone to waste and Faye intends to return to the psyche unit, taking Harry with her.

When he apologises to Jac for choosing Faye, they share a passionate moment in the staff room.

Later, a patient, Patrick Wright, is set to make a complaint against the hospital for mistakes made during his operation. Sacha fails to persuade Chrissie it wasn't her fault and she admits she was dosed up on caffeine pills at the time. It's a secret that Sacha shares with Jac, unbeknown to him that she was actually responsible for the mistakes made on Patrick.

    Eeeeeeeeek.
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.
