John and Moira take Holly home
Airs on Monday, October 4 2010 19:00 BST on ITV1

Holly panics when Dan throws her out of the flat and tells her there'll be no more freebies - if she wants drugs, she'll have to pay for them. Villagers are wary when she arrives at The Woolpack and gets wasted. Aware of the atmosphere, Holly storms out and starts stumbling around the village.

Ashley and Doug find Holly slumped in the graveyard, clearly off her head. They lead her back to Mulberry Cottage, where John and Moira collect her. Back at Butlers, Moira and John are beside themselves and vow not to let her leave this time. Can they deal with her problem on their own?

Meanwhile, after discovering that Eve is coming back, Carl tells Chas that he can't make the holiday due to work commitments. Chas is gutted, but she's later appeased when he encourages her to go with Charity. At the pub, Carl is forced to tell a furious Jimmy that he's been flirting with Eve and has lied that the messages are his.

Elsewhere, Aaron feels patronised as Jackson congratulates him taming his temper recently; Faye tells Nathan that she is contesting the will for payback rather than financial gain; Hazel tells Bob that she doesn't want a boyfriend as they enjoy dinner together; and Diane is touched when Doug offers her a loan.

Holly admits that she's an addict
Airs on Tuesday, October 5 2010 19:00 BST on ITV1
    By Daniel Kilkelly, Soaps Editor

Holly is suffering the comedown after last night's high, and is desperate to leave, but Moira forces her to see a doctor. When the doctor arrives, she knows that Holly is lying and insists she start being honest. John asks the doctor about Holly's condition, but she reiterates that Holly is over 18 and she can't breach patient confidentiality.

As Holly's comedown hits a low, she begs John and Moira to let her go as she needs a fix. When Moira tries to stop her, Holly is determined and shoves her mum aside. Shocked at her own behaviour, Holly confirms their worst fears when she finally breaks down and admits she's an addict. Will John and Moira be able to help her?

Meanwhile, Faye is surprised when Abi is so lenient with Ryan when Faye visits him. She's filled with hope when Ryan passes her a letter he received from Maisie. Faye insists she's their only witness and this could lead them to her, so she vows to find Maisie and get her back whether she likes it or not.

Elsewhere, Doug helps Diane by pitching in at the pub; Andy asks for Adele's forgiveness; Declan's amused by Nathan's frustration over Mark's will; and Hazel tells Jackson that she turned down Bob's advances.

A train collides with Jackson's van
Airs on Wednesday, October 6 2010 19:00 BST on ITV1

    Hour-long episode

Still awkward with one another, Jackson is pleased when Aaron asks him on a night out. Paddy and Marlon also arrange a lads' night and tag along with Aaron and Jackson, much to Aaron's annoyance. The boys are amused by Paddy and Marlon's reaction when they realise they are going to a gay bar.

To save getting a taxi, Jackson offers to drive. However, in a terrible twist of fate, disaster strikes later that night when they lose control of the vehicle and crash onto a train track. As an oncoming train smashes into the van, one man's life is left hanging in the balance. All four men get in the van that evening, but one man will be left in jeopardy.

Will it be hapless Marlon who has finally found love with Rhona? Might it be Paddy who has been Aaron's rock throughout the trials and tribulations of the last year? Could it be Jackson who has just confessed the depth of his feelings for Aaron? Or will Aaron be the one to meet a tragic and untimely fate?

Ryan has to be physically restrained after leaping for Nathan

Meanwhile, Nathan pays a visit to the prison and taunts Ryan, but soon admits that he needs his half-brother's help. Nathan says that he needs Faye to drop her objections to the will, otherwise Ryan shouldn't underestimate how low he will go. Incensed, Ryan flips and the guards are called to restrain him. Later, Ryan opens up to Abi about the situation.

Elsewhere, Moira agrees for a therapist to speak to Holly in the hope it will help; Carl gives Katie some money to fund a trip with Chas; and Declan receives some important news from his wife.

Airs on Thursday, October 7 2010 19:00 BST on ITV1

Faye is surprised when Abi turns up in the village and tells her to make sure Ryan keeps his head down in future. However, scheming Nathan sees Abi leaving Tennant's and recognises her from prison.

Nathan concludes that Abi must be helping Ryan. Later, he menacingly visits Faye, who unwittingly gives him Abi's name. What plan has Nathan got up his sleeve?

Meanwhile, a stressed Diane tells Andy that she might have to sell her wedding ring to help towards her debt. Andy confides his worries about Diane to Doug. Thoughtful, Doug looks at his savings and confides to Ashley that he's going to give Diane all of it to help towards her debt.

Elsewhere, Moira and John are hopeful when Holly attends her first counselling session, and Andy is left feeling guilty with the news that Adele has moved out of the village.

    Diane accepts Doug's generous offer
Airs on Thursday, October 7 2010 20:00 BST on ITV1

Diane snaps when she finds Victoria having a party at Dale View. Later, as she bemoans the fact that she's taken her own stress out on Victoria and humiliated her in front of her friends, Doug calms her down and re-offers to ease her worries with a loan.

When Doug refuses to take no for an answer, Diane is touched by his kindness and tearfully accepts.

Meanwhile, as Isaac flirts with another girl at Victoria's party, Hannah can't help but feel under pressure to sleep with him and leads Isaac to one of the bedrooms. However, she panics when Isaac tells her there was an accident with the protection he used, and she runs out, embarrassed.

Elsewhere, David takes charge of bickering sisters Leyla and Alicia, chastising Leyla for being overly maternal of Jacob - but he only leaves Leyla annoyed.

A newcomer makes an impression on Andy
Airs on Friday, October 8 2010 19:00 BST on ITV1

Andy realises Amy's faking the bump, but offers to help

A beat-up car breaks down near the village, and full of attitude, Amy gets out, cursing it. She cheekily fakes a pregnancy bump to draw passing Andy's attention before confidently asking for a lift.

Andy realises that Amy's pregnancy was a fake, but reluctantly gives her a lift to the garage anyway. Ballsy, she wonders if she can crash on his sofa, and although he's charmed by her cheek, he points her towards the B&B.

Meanwhile, Roz arrives to see Holly and is shocked at the seriousness of her addiction. They go for a walk and Holly is quick to ask Roz for a fix. Roz is unnerved as Holly begs her for drugs, but she refuses as Holly says that her addiction is all Roz's fault. John is left suspicious after witnessing their argument.

Elsewhere, Hannah confides in Victoria about what happened last night, and Doug tells a grateful Diane that the money has been sorted.
