Third in line to the throne, Prince Harry became a good deal richer on Tuesday when he celebrated his 25th birthday and became eligible for a £6.5 million inheritance left by his mother.
Although the young Prince will not gain access to the full amount until he turns 30, he will start receiving the interest - around £300,000 a year - from now.
Harry's brother, Prince William, received the same amount on his 25th birthday two years ago.
Diana had an estate of £21m, but more than £8m was paid in inheritance tax following her fatal car crash in 1997, leaving nearly £13m to be split between her boys.
Harry is currently training to become an Army Air Corps helicopter pilot, and, as a Lieutenant in the British Army is on a pay band of between £29,006 and £32,061.
