I think you are wrong Bryan. Its much handier than facebook and the likes. You can give a quick twitter from your mobile. In fact I am following the TransAtlantic Tall Ships race at the moment and Twitter is updated instantly just like an Instant Message

Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh is the latest victim of a Twitter hoaxer (@KymMarsh) as the owner of the account - impersonating Kym - tweeted that she's leaving the show to record another album.

I can confirm that this is 100% pure bullsh*t.

Reacting to the news that she was allegedly on Twitter, she told me this afternoon: "How funny - I'm not quitting, I'm not releasing an album and I'm not even on Twitter - I don't have the time!"

Oh, and @bev_c isn't Corrie landlady Bev Callard, either.

I tried to give Twitter a go, but none of my friends are on there, so whats the point?

I was confused with the @(membersname) stuff? :S
