No way really there isn't anyone in Edinburgh who has been diagnosed with it since it was first arrived in Britain. There was a couple who were on the same flight as the honeymoon couple from Falkirk the first people to catch it but they were confined to there home and since then all the cases are in the west of Scotland.
Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx

My mum has said to me 'you better not have swine flu' cos my bad throat and coughing and feeling like utter rubbish.
You see its been in our town for like 2 weeks now and I mean like really close, someone from my old high school got it and thats only less than a 5 min walk. I live in a pretty small place so you know
Can you be more specific where you are so we can all give the place as wide a berth as possible please![]()
I have just heard on the radio that Cherie Blair has got swine flu
http://www.newscientist.com/article/...swine-flu.html
AS IF people struggling with obesity did not have enough to worry about, they now face a new health hazard. According to statistics from the US, overweight people appear more likely to die of swine flu.
Most of the people who have died from H1N1 swine flu have had an underlying health problem that weakened their ability to fight off the virus. Among the conditions recognised as increasing the risk from flu are hypertension, diabetes, chronic lung obstruction and coronary disease. Now it may be time to add obesity to the list.
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.
