Just been listening to his music on MTV and it reminds you why he was the King of Pop.

    Still prefer Prince though.

What I find funny is all the young generation they keep interviewing. I'd have thought the MJ generation would be ~40 upwards

I agree, I have been listening to my local radio station which has been playing his music incessantly today... and you realise just how fab his music really was.

I think I've never really liked him/his music in the past (cant deny he knocked out a good song or three, I liked) because of his weirdness, and I found it quite disturbing someone could do that (completely disfigure themselves via plastic surgery) to their face...

Hope he is in a better place and at peace - something I doubt he had in this world.

Thanking the fabulous TAbbie, for the banner!

Sadly Michael's death will be in the news for weeks to come, they are even releasing the 911 call made from his home to the emergency services how sick is that.

Love or hate Michael he did have mental health problems and these began from early childhood when him and his sisters and brothers were thrushed into the limelight from a very early age, all they knew was performing, some coped better than others but it was obvious when Latoyah was in CBB how strange their upbringing was. It's no surprise he behaved they way he did. But on a musical front many pop artists would not be in the business today if it hadn't been for Michael he was a true entertainer when he performed you knew it was going to be live. The world is going to be a sadder place without him in it.

Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx

My mum told me too. My friend's mum is a massive fan and my friend came to be too; she was off of school yesterday. She's that big a fan that she's doing a piece of coursework about him and how the way he's been presented in the media over time has changed. I guess it will be a lot more interesting now as people are bound to say nice things about him more often because he's gone.

It is shocking for anyone to die soooo young... but when you read the number of pills (pain killers) and even daily injections he was having... it's a wonder he made it till 50!
