Victoria Beckham is facing reports she recently underwent a breast augmentation operation to decrease the size of her chest.

The singer-turned-fashion designer reportedly had her breasts enlarged in 1999, but British tabloid The Sun claims she underwent another operation two years later to further enhance her bust.

The paper now alleges the star underwent another operation last month to decrease the size of her bosom for a "more natural look."

Beckham, who lives in Los Angeles, is said to be recovering in France with her soccer star husband, David, and their three sons.

A source tells the newspaper, "Victoria has wanted her implants taken out for a while. She felt that was part of her old image - the big hair, big boobs, fake tan - and that she has moved on since those days.

“She had the op three weeks ago and is very pleased with the results. After the op she came to London for business then went to France to heal properly in private.”

The body of sculptor Patrick Farrow, 66, was discovered on Monday.

Police are investigating the matter, calling the death "suspicious".

Mia and her brother were two of seven siblings born to author John Farrow and actress Maureen O'Sullivan.

An autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington, Vermont, is expected to take place on Wednesday.

The deceased ran the Farrow Gallery in Castleton with his wife Susan.

Chris Brown's lawyer has requested a delay in his upcoming assault case, reports Reuters.

The R&B star, 20, has pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and making criminal threats in relation to an alleged altercation with then-girlfriend Rihanna in the early hours of February 8.

His attorney Mark Geragos has asked the California Supreme Court to delay a scheduled hearing next week to allow more time for him to gain access to police files.

Geragos wants information about an investigation into how photographs appearing to show Rihanna looking bruised and bloodied following the alleged attack were leaked to the media.

It is the second time that such a request has been made. A previous attempt to delay proceedings was denied by the court last month on the grounds that it was too early in the case to deal with the leak issue.

The next hearing is set for Monday at the LA Superior Court. Rihanna has been subpoenaed to testify against her former boyfriend on June 22.

Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie are feeling generous this week (beg15Jun09) - the couple has made a $1 million (£666,667) donation to help refugees just days after contributing the same amount to a Missouri hospital.

The charitable stars have offered up the sum to the United Nations (Un) Refugee Agency to help displaced citizens in Pakistan.

Jolie, who is an ambassador for the agency, recently made a video to promote World Refugee Day, on 20 June.

And she is due to meet U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, in Washington D.C. on Thursday to discuss the global refugee crisis.

The Hollywood couple also donated $1 million (£666,667) to St. John's hospital in Pitt's native Springfield, Missouri to fund a new pediatric unit.

The daughter of Billy Joel has said that she supports her father's decision to get a divorce.

Alexa Ray Joel told People that she suspected problems between her father and his wife, Katie Lee.

"I have a pretty good woman's intuition, so I could tell," she said. "I know my dad very well."

She explained: "He was the first person to talk to me. Of course, being who he is, you can't just trust everybody. I like knowing that my father can come to me."

Beyonce has been threatened with a £666,600 lawsuit after pulling out of a New York nightclub show.

But the pop princess suddenly axed the appearance on Wednesday, with her representatives claiming she was too busy preparing for her North American tour.

Beyonce's reps instead offered an hour-long personal appearance from the star at the club - but Morrissey claims he has already spent £66,667 preparing for the singer's show.

He tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, “They said they were too busy with the launching of the tour and that they wouldn’t have time to do the kickoff party.

"We sold tables for thousands of dollars for the show, and spent $100,000 renting a soundboard and other equipment, as per their stipulations. What good does her showing up for an hour do me? They’ve been totally unwilling to agree to another show.”

Morrissey is now threatening to file suit against Beyonce over the cancellation, claiming the club has suffered a “loss of reputation” in addition to his lost cash.

He adds, “We had an overwhelming response from our clubgoers, who were lining up to buy tickets and tables. This will come as a great disappointment to all of them. If Beyonce cancels and doesn’t give us a new date, this hurts our credibility in nightlife.”
