bit late, but my guesses were appalling! cant believe i only managed to guess 3 right! cant believe the tony/whitney/bianca storyline didnt win anything, i think it really should have won either best storyline or best epi. dont watch doctors but i really wanna see that storyline as it must surely have been amazing to win all those awards? cant believe barbara windsor won lifetime achievement, i couldnt believe it when it was announced, shes awful! im wondering if they only give the award to people who are still on their soaps and there wasnt many people left to choose from who hadnt already won it! and im glad she didnt make the speech for the best soap award, her not speaking for that was the highlight lol!

Could someone please explain to me the point of ITV devoting 2hrs on Wednesday Night to the British Soap Awards when we all know the results. What a waste of time!!!!!!. It would be as bad as showing the FA Cup 3 or 4 days after the event.

I agree that the show should be shown live, I don't know why this is not done. Hardly enjoyable if the winners are already known for days on end beforehand.

this might be sad, but i dont read who won so that i can watch the show on the wednesday and enjoy it. i dont see the point in the winners being announced before its shown

But sometimes you can't avoid reading about the winners because it is plastered on the front pages of the papers and magazines or it is referred to in articles before the show has been transmitted.

thats why i didnt come on here or read anything on ds or watch any sort of news programme as i knew somewhere i was bound to see them. its quite sad i know that i went through all that not to find out but i didnt see the point in watching it otherwise

nah dont worry about it. its not really a spoiler seeing as it has happened. i had work due in anyway so it was good i couldnt distract myself on here!

You've got the right idea di marco, its the same with reading all the spoilers about the soaps (although they're hard to avoid) it'd be so much better just to watch all the shows without having a clue whats gonna happen next. Sometimes I wish so much didn't leak before hand. But i can't resist reading them haha

Definatly watch the episodes of Doctors, i'm pretty sure they are on youtube.
Wonderfully written and played out, with out too much emotion, and enough sensitivity, i still have them on my dvd incase i wish to watch again!

yeh ive stopped reading the hollyoaks spoilers although i still manage to find out some of the stuff thats happening. i tried to stop reading the ee ones but started again cos i needed to know what was happening! although it would be so much better if i didnt know! with the soap awards its easier cos i knew i only had to wait a few days. if the spoilers only came out a few days before then i could probably be able to not read them
