We won't know until after Heather has the baby then they will do a back plot to reveal when they slept together just like they did when Michelle slept with Dirty Den and fell pregnant with Victoria.

PHIL Talk about working life parrelling real life. In the papers today it's reported that Steve has got his neighbour up the duff. Imagine that him and his alter-ego becoming a daddy again at the same time. How coincedental is that, and they won't have to worry about searching for a baby to play the part they could use his own child.

I thought Phil being the dad couldn't be the case but now I think he is. It was something about how they acted around each other before Heather even locked him in the Arches; I can't even remember what it was that made me think it now but I really think it's Phil.

As many on here will know I don't watch EE or many other soaps, so I don't know who the male escort guy was or how close him and Heather were. My theory is going with that the writers want to invent a plot that will keep the viewers tuning in and having someone like Heather falling pregnant is an ideal scenerio. Let's face it she is no oil painting and the lift doesn't go to the top floor. In real life there are Heathers in everyone's community who may have a heart of gold but are still riduculed and targeted as loney and desperate and that is why I think Phil will be revealed as the baby's father.

If the writers off EE wanted to give Heather some happiness they would have kept the escort guy in the show or contiuned and expanded her relationship with Minty but they didn't the escort guy was only used as a decoy. EE need to win the viewers vote against other soaps so they have to come up with new storylines they are not going to appeal to everyone and we may see our favourite character going through hell but it adds to the viewing figures.

I don't want to see Heather loose her friendship with Shirley or be treated like a villiage idiot but it may be a few months before we find out who is the father of her kid and I stand by my beliefs that it is Phil Mitchell sadly the baby will be a result of a drunken fumble.

methinks the father is Billy, after all the palava with the note. plus they showed a clip of her snogging him on This Morning when they were doing the soap competition thing. it was an old clip, i think it was Heather's birthday, so that might have been the start of a little bit more...
