Jeff is the only sensible one. he is right to take the boys away out of the way let's hope that when they do return they are left alone to grow up out of the limelight.

Jackson 'planning to attend Goody funeral'

Michael Jackson is reportedly planning to attend Jade Goody's funeral on Saturday.

According to the Daily Star, the 'Thriller' singer has offered his support to Goody's husband Jack Tweed following the reality star's death from cervical cancer on March 22.

"Michael has been very moved by Jade’s story. He has pledged to offer any support he can and he has promised to try and make it to the funeral," revealed an unnamed insider.

Earlier this month, Jackson was reported to have phoned Goody after learning of her illness through his brother Jermaine, who appeared alongside the star on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.

The source added that he "spoke to Jade and Jack more than once shortly before she passed away".

Jade Goody could be immortalised by a statue in Bermondsey, it has emerged.

A number of fans have written to council heads and urged them to commemorate the reality TV star, who died last week, The Mirror reports.

Community council chair Bob Skelly said: "The council has plans for the Dickens Estate area where Jade grew up, and I'm sure we could do something."

Publicist Max Clifford said: "It's wonderful news."

It is thought that a statue or blue plaque could be installed to recognise the effort Goody made to raise awareness of cervical cancer.

FFS, I know that the number of smear tests have gone up but she is not the only once that has raised the awareness of various kinds of cancer, but all the other people who are endlessly campaigning and raising funds don't get statutes or plaques installed in their home towns. What about Jane Tomlinson, who did so much for breast cancer and left a husband and young child, for example. Next Goody will be beatified and made a saint

Michael Jackson will not attend Jade Goody's funeral, publicist Max Clifford has said.

Reports had suggested that the 'Thriller' star would be among mourners attending this Saturday's service after he telephoned Goody just days before her death.

However, Clifford told Sky News: "Michael was never, ever coming, it was never on the agenda. He also feels the focus of the funeral should be about her and her family.

"But he has sent a lovely message of condolence to her family, that she was a brave girl and that her message will save a lot of lives, and he will be sending flowers."

Clifford confirmed that Goody's family want Katie Price to stay away from the service, which is to be held at St John The Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex.

He said that they are angry with the star for criticising Goody's decision to go public about her cervical cancer last September. "The family have made it very they clear they don't want her there," he said.

Cancer victim Jade Goody's hopes for her children are unveiled in poignant final message.

The former Big Brother star, who died from cervical cancer nearly two weeks ago, said she hoped that Bobby and Freddie would turn into 'fine, upstanding young men', and that their times together were her 'most precious memories', according to The Sun.

She also pledges that her husband Jack Tweed, mother Jackiey Budden and the boys' father, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, would help bring the boys up.

Her message - published in the newspaper - comes from a book called Jade: Remember Me This Way, about her life.

It will be published later this month with profits going to charity Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Addressing Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, Jade said: "I have asked for this book to be made so that when you are older you can remember just how much fun we had together.

"I thank God that we made the most of all our time together and I treasure the moments we shared.

"I know that with the help of nanny Jackiey, Jack and daddy Jeff you will turn into fine, upstanding young men."

Jade added: "We had so many wonderful adventures together, from horse-riding and fishing in Wales to camel rides in the desert of Abu Dhabi and water fights at Butlins.

"These are my most precious memories, and this book will be your keepsake so that you will always remember the good times."

Jade's funeral will take place on Saturday April 4.

Her cortege will pass through the streets of Bermondsey before going onto St John the Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, where she will be buried.

It has been reported that her widower Jack will read a special poem at the service.

DM, depends how long she has been with Jack.. I seen on Living one episode where she is picking Jack up from prison and the kids are really excited that he is coming home... the kids love him, you could see that at the wedding, the older kid (Freddy I think) was clinging to him... I don't see why he can't be involved with them and help bring them up if they feel close to him and he provides stability (can't see that happening if he keeps going to prison though)
