I got paid the other day and so I'm getting a car on Friday needs some work done which my Uncle will do for me so in 2 weeks or less I will be out on the roads yay!

Woo! Hope its got tax, insurance and mot. ;) What kind is it?

Haha actually, it only has tax, it failed MOT on something and because I haven't got ti yet we won't insure it until it's al ready to go. It only cost me 50 quid... 150 quid inlcuding MOT and the part I need for it to pass MOT.. so all is good

I'm on track with school stuff again... slowly.
We had our results back yesterday, gained 7 marks inmy english language resit... but my teacher said thats fine and now looks like I have a C at AS English Language but I actually went down a grade n RE! I wa gutted, but I still get to keep my D. I have a C overall, I just hate ebing stuck with my 2 D's which will drag me down :/ ah well

I'm just dossing about this afternoon, my head hurts and Im babysitting my sister... then I need to get my act together for work later on. Joyous...

my niece was told on her lunch break that her job has been cut.. no notice and she has to be out by today.. that is totally shocking!!

That is very bad news. Does your niece have any way of going to a tribunal? Surely just getting rid of her without any notice contravenes labour law

she is only there 4 months and on probation so she can't do anything..

I'm standing as a representative for the science and health faculty on the student union. It's part of a large scheme by 20-odd people to take over the union and run it as it should be. The current president has done sod all for the past year and is very conservative. We're looking at a union where people are free to express their views, however extreme they may be (obviously there will be some boundaries).

All my flatmates have gone home so it's very quiet I can get my stuff sorted in the kitchen.
