    Pinkles that's happening to me lately aswell, I find that I need to stay off the internet for ages before it will work for me again, it's very annoying.

    I hate the stupid application invites. They wind me up...I only go on there to nose at status's haha

    A teenager reportedly stole a laptop in Florida so that he could check his Facebook account.

    According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Cory Kinney nabbed the $4,000 (£2,770) computer from a Starbucks coffee store in the town of Ellenton, near Tampa.

    He reportedly snatched the machine after being told by owner Gary Lyman, 62, that he could not use it to check his online profile.

    However, bystanders who had witnessed the incident tackled him in the store's carpark and he was held in custody by the facility's security guard until deputies arrived and arrested him.

    Kinney was later charged with the felony offence of robbery by sudden snatching. The sheriff's report quoted him as saying that he "just wanted to do a crime that did not hurt anyone".
