I haven't done much today, just school. We took part in this speed dating activity today in the sixthform, in a bid for Year 12 and Year 13s to integrate more and to make new friends. It went pretty well I thought..

I made an innuendo in assembly though and said "you all need to be there at 1:45 for it to start so we can have a good half an hour of doing it".. everyone in the hall started laughing. It was so embarrasing.

Apart from that little giggle, my days been so rubbsh to be quite honest!

I think it's been "Pick on Kirsty Day" or something! There's having a laugh and a joke... and then there's just taking it way too far!
I jsut can't even begin to describe how upset I've got myself today, all because of people being damn right rude! Grr

Dancing was stressful too what witht he show coming up and all the kufuffle over costumes and that
So not a very good day lol

I feel absolutely lousy, sore throat, headache etc, classic symptoms of the lergy. It has been coming a couple of days now but I hoped it would go away before developing. No such luck. Went to bed so early last night and woke up with the alarm ringing this morning, which is most unusual. Dragged myself into the office because I promised to help somebody, glad it is Friday and I have the weekend to recover, I hope.

Loads of things to sort out today. I've just bought my tv license but I don't think I can use it yet. It says my application is being processed and I'll recieve a payment plan in the next ten days. It doesn't say anything about not being able to use a tv in the meantime though. Any ideas folks? I can't find an email address online to ask them and I can't view my payment details.

I would have thought that as long as you have applied for a licence, you can watch tv. Must be like if your car tax is in the post. I presume you have got proof of buying your licence and if it does not state that you are not allowed to watch tv until you get your payment plan, then you should be able to switch on and enjoy your favourite programmes

when i bought mine they told me as long as its been paid for you can use a tv, you dont have to wait til the letter and stuff gets sent, as it will be on their database that youve paid

went to the zoo yesterday which was fun, had a 2 for 1 ticket so it wasnt that expensive to get in either. there was a baby gibbon and a baby monkey and they were so cute! and this tamarin came right up to the glass of the cage and put its hands where our hands were and stayed like it for ages just looking at us til some other people came and scared it, then when we went back later it did it again! and the good thing was it didnt rain while we were there either, although it did rain while we were getting there! it was a good day
