I never get any money for my results either Di M lol.
I messed about through GCSE's whihc I seriously regret and me and my family knew I didn't do my best, I had reasonable grades but I knew and my Nan knew I could of done alot better, but I did have a tub of Ben & Jerrys and a bracelet so I was well happy Haha

Dreading Thursday... I jsut want to know what I need to resit, which will no doubt be everything. I did work really hard this year, but I just freeze in exams! My English Lang exams I thought/wanted to do really well in, but I jsut dind't have a clue what to write!.. (it was all about MI6)
But at the end of the day they're only exams, and I may be dissapointed with what I get but I'll just resit them and work even more harder!

well done to your son. i dont know anything about scottish exams but i take it those results were good

It is the same as 5 A grades and 3 B grades in GCSEs. He could have done better, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been either, lol.

    He was relieved I think!

Nah I don't get any money either. I don't really get anything for doing well in exams, which I'm kinda glad about as it would pressurise me more to do well! My parents just tell me to try my best and the best is all I can do, which is perfectly true for everyone.

Well done to your son Trinity - they are fantastic results!

Well done to your son, Trinity. I'd be well chuffed if i got those results!

I'm kind of indifferent to my results now. If i don't get what i need, then i'm kind of ready to go into clearing and do something else. I really hope i got BBB, but if not, then theres not anything i can do about it, i just have to get on and do something else.

Oh god same here.. I had everyone telling me they will phone me up and ask for like the past 2 months.. Even now for the whole holiday it's been, ''Have you got your results yet?'' ''Oh okay when are they coming?''
I just put it off with late August.
But It's going to be on the news as usual and the phone will start ringing
It's my results so why do they want to know - And no it's not because they care it's because their kids did better than I'm gonna have done and they just wanna rub it in my face Nice

I think I am going to go and collect it as soon as I can and then I am going to attempt to find a corner, or even go to the loo and lock myself in lol and then I am going to take a piece of paper with the grades I needed to get and comapre them.. then cry.. stay there for about half an hour.. and then plan to carry of with my life somehow and enjoy the few hours I will have to live

I know whatever the outcome I won't be happy as I am not expected more than 3 A's if I am lucky. And I won't be suprised if I fail Media or English.

Don't worry about it Spicy and Kim - what grades are you both expected?

If you'd rather no one knew your results, you don't have to let them know - after all, it's your personal piece of paper with your results on..no one has the right apart from you to look at it.

I am sure you have both done fine, but if you haven't, it really is not the end of the world. Exams are exams - life goes on even if you've done badly or not, there will be something out there for you to do! ... and remember this, things could always be worse.

    Just try and keep positive
