How Was Your Day? Numero Four-o

Got back from holiday on Sunday and stayed at my sister's until today.

Had a great holiday, I didn't want to come home and really wished I'd stayed there when we landed at Newcastle to find it slinging it down It's rained every day since I've been back.

I've got some great pictures and videos so I might post some up later.

I forgot to add, congrats on turning pink Perdita and thanks for the welcome back pm

Two weeks today, I will be off to sunny Spain for 5 weeks, I am sooo looking forward to it

not done much really for the rest of the week. yesterday me and my sis wandered around the town for a bit, bought a cake from this really nice cake shop as hadnt been in there in ages! then went and saw my gran and grandad, had a choc ice while i was there so an unhealthy day lol!

Going to have a little celebration on Monday because I have worked for the same employer for 25 years. Got a new dress of eBay which arrived in time and got matching nail varnish today, so I am pleased.

Wow, 25 years. I was wondering earlier how long you've lived in Germany. Are you going to receive a special gift? My dad got a watch for his 25 years service.

What will I do without you for five weeks? Three weeks was bad enough.

Fun day. We went to Hyde Park and eat sweets and played cards. Then we got bored so we started waving at the tour buses trying to get people to wave back. We made a sign saying wave!! Ahh we had such a laugh. People on the tour buses were taking pictures of us! We must of looked like a bunch of nutters We're going again next week

Trains were a nightmare though. Part closures due to engineering works. I wouldn't mind but there's never any improvement!

Well, I have got problems believing this myself, but the 25 years are not all in one piece, I did actually live in UK for a number of years inbetween. However, I have lived in Germany now for over 20 years No special gift, because I work for the MoD a senior military officer will present me with a certificate, the rest is all a secret but I believe that the few guests I have invited and some others (don't know who) might go for lunch somewhere nice (or NAAFI are providing sandwiches ) Sorry to NAAFI and their employees but your catering sucks).

Came home and now I'm back into pj's.. on a saturday night!?
Nahh, I ahd the chance to go to a party but I hadn't been invited by the actual person so I didn't want to jsut turn up

They say "Never say Never" but the plan is to move to Spain in about 6 years. The UK is just wo expensive compared to other EU countries but I do miss it (especially Southampton where I have some family and where I used to live).
