    Its my birthday next saturday, im not that excited, in fact i had forgot about it.

    Just realised i have no card or present for fathers day tomorrow. So i am now making a card, hopefully the personal touch will make up for it.

    My dad personally chose to ring me up while he was at work and remind me it was Father Day on Sunday..
    Good thing he did But in another way it's bad.. because that means he defo. expects something..
    Another bad thing? He dosen't appreciate it.. He wants something pricey but I can't do pricey so it upsets me, he dosen't even pretend to like it, ahh well no point trying to please some people I guess.
    However I bought him a card and a photo holder which says to daddy from your lovely daughter or something along them lines. I will take a photo tomorrow or something and print it off and and put it later in the week.. A bit over £5 gone down the drain.
    If he did appreciate the small things I get him I would get him much more but yeah.. ahh well!

    Oh my god, you just gave me a heart attack. I've completely forgotten about father's day. I'm working tomorrow so I don't have time to get my dad anything.

    At the risk of sounding ignorant, I think father's and mother's days are a money making concept. Why should one day be designated to giving gifts to your parents when you can do that any day of the year? It absolves people of taking parents for granted by buying gifts on one day of the year.

    He doesn't have an email address or use the computer and I haven't got anything to make a card with. It'd probably end up looking like a dog's dinner anyway
