She's (May) obviously got herself struck off the GP list permanently - shame. She was a really good doctor. I know she's still unstable but the sectioning must have done some good and of course I completely forgive her though obviously what she did to Dawn was very wrong and people have to be vary and cautious around someone like May. I wish I could give May a great big hug. I wonder if her famioly know she was arrested and sectioned. She's always be my favourite charecter alongside Steven.

It's no wind up Parkerman. I am very sorry for May and she'll always be my favourite charecter. I agree what she did was wrong but it does not stop me from having empathy with her or feeling sorry for her. May has a lot ofg problems but I can't believe she is evil. Why be sus[icious? I am not exactl;y "supporting" Steven and May. What they did was wrong and they shouldn't have done it, no question about it but both have lost everything now.

I have read the spoilers and I know what happens but that is just down to stupid scriptwriting. Other than people like Trevor, Owen, Graham and Stella who I have to hate because I can see nothing good about them I am prepared to forgive or give the benefit of the doubt. May's lost her career, her husband, everytjhing and though it's herr own fault I can't help but pity her. She's my favourite favourite charecter.

No-one is sectioned long enough in EastEnders. Anyway if that's true then it is not their fault. It is the fault of the people who sectioned them. May can't help having mental problems and nor can Steven. I'm sorry for both of them.

She certainly is a mini Cindy in the making and i would love to see the real trouble that she could cause if only the scriptwriters would give her the chance as she is a good wee actress

I have read the spoilers and I know what happens but that is just down to stupid scriptwriting.

What does that mean? These people are not real. They are what the scriptwriters make them. The scriptwriters could have written the script in such a way that May becomes a reformed character, but they haven't. That's not stupid, that's the way the character and the storyline goes. That's what you have to judge them on, not what you would like them to be. I mean I could say it's only stupid scriptwriting that made Trevor a villain and that really he should have been written as a nice caring husband for Little Mo, but he wasn't and that's how we have to judge characters.

You hit the nail on the head, Parkerman, it is not stupid scriptwriting when they make up a character, if they make a storyline go on and on, without really adding anything to it, then one could argue that it is stupid scriptwriting, but never about the characters themselves. Wonder if there is now a Dr May Appreciation Society on another forum
