    Series 2 Ep 3

PC Kelly Cooper returns from a training course to find not much has changed in the precinct, as Tony Jordan's fast-paced police drama continues. Kelly's colleagues are working in tandem with CID to investigate a gang-related stabbing. The team desperately tries to calm the situation in order to avoid a rival turf war and its potentially fatal outcome.

PC Robert Clifton, urged on by colleague PC Lucy Slater, finally plucks up the courage to confront his ex-girlfriend again and ask her for permission to see their son. After a passionate plea, she realises her ex is a changed man and offers him one last chance to meet his boy at the end of his shift. Robert is over the moon and can't wait for the day to be over.

Frustrated by his wayward methods of policing, CPS lawyer Rachel Barker makes a secret complaint against her colleague, Custody Sergeant Christian Young. Inspector Jenny Black is forced to investigate the surprise complaint but Christian would rather give up his job than forfeit his unique way of looking after the community of Holby.

Back on the streets, PC William Jackson is hot on the heels of Connor Daniels, a young man CID suspects is involved in the gang violence. Before Jackson can apprehend the culprit, Connor falls down a flight of steps, suffering a fatal injury.

Set with one of the worst tasks known to an officer, Lucy and Robert go to break the news of Connor's death to his brother and only known relative, Ronnie. Distraught and determined to blame the police for Connor's death, Ronnie vents his anger at the visiting officers, with consequences that will change Holby for ever.

    Series 3 Episode 4

Following the tragic death of her friend and colleague PC Robert Clifton in last week's episode,
PC Lucy Slater is struggling to cope with her loss, as Tony Jordan's fast-paced police drama continues.

On the streets of Holby South, a young man, Pradip Das, has been beaten unconscious in an unprovoked attack. Eager to catch the culprits, DI John Keenan and
DS Luke French set about trying to find the gang of youths responsible. When a local teenager, Trey Gabriel, is arrested for joy-riding in the area of the attack, it becomes obvious he is either a suspect, or a witness to the vicious assault. Trey's mobile is discovered to have footage of the brutal attack, making the young Pradip a victim of the ever-increasing, vicious crime of "happy slapping".

As his appropriate adult and youth worker, Sean Burrows is brought in to accompany Trey during the investigation. After running a project for disadvantaged kids, Sean now has a good relationship with CID. Keen to help his ward, Sean tries to persuade Trey to help with police enquiries, but the troubled teenager reacts badly to Sean's advice.

Angry and frustrated, Sean returns home and vents his fury through a shocking and violent attack on his teenage son, Lee, forcing him to take action that permanently changes their family.

Elsewhere, after one of the hardest days in her career, Lucy decides to hand her notice in, leaving her beloved job for ever.

PC Lucy Slater is played by Elaine Glover, Pradip Das by Syed Khan, DI John Keenan by Cal MacAninch, DS Luke French by Richard Harrington, Trey Gabriel by Christopher Steward, Sean Burrows by Kevin Doyle, Lee Burrows by Robert Lowe and Judy Burrows by Amanda Drew.

Lucy's leaving too?! I can only hope they don't draft in a couple of soap stars to replace them. They ruined the Bill doing that
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.

    Series 2, Episode 5 - Spoilers

DI John Keenan is investigating a case involving teenager Lee Burrows, who has attacked and put his own father in hospital, in this week's episode of Tony Jordan's fast-paced police drama. Choosing to trust gut instinct over circumstantial evidence, John feels certain that Lee was acting in self defence. The case forces John to come face to face with his own childhood traumas, making him increasingly introverted as he shuts out the person closest to him: his wife, Kate.

On the verge of a breakthrough, John is sure that Judy, Lee's mother and the only witness to the attack, will confirm his suspicions over Lee's motive. However, when Judy hears that her husband, Sean, has woken from his coma, she is violently sick and quick to retract all she has said. Out of fear of recrimination, Judy becomes increasingly desperate to attend Sean's bedside before he notices her absence. Stopping Judy in her tracks, John applies pressure in the hope that she will give a statement, but she is too scared and is vehement in her denial of what John is trying to get her to admit.

Frustrated at being dumped off the case by DCI Scott Vaughan, John finally admits this case has struck a chord with him personally. Deciding it's time to expel the demon that triggered his over-zealous behaviour, John goes to confront his estranged father, who is currently serving time for murder.

Meanwhile, after handing in her resignation, PC Lucy Slater is back at home in Yorkshire with her parents. Lucy feels certain she's made the right decision and has left the force for good. However, when she receives a surprise visit from the station's Desk Sergeant Edward "Mac" MacFadden, she is forced to confront the reality of her situation and rethink her hasty decision.

DI John Keenan is played by Cal MacAninch, Lee Burrows by Robert Lowe, Kate Keenan by Zoë Lucker, Judy Burrows by Amanda Drew, Sean Burrows by Kevin Doyle, DCI Scott Vaughan by Oliver Milburn, John Senior by Kenneth Colley, PC Lucy Slater by Elaine Glover and Desk Sergeant Edward "Mac" MacFadden by David Sterne.

    Series 2, Episode 6

After getting too involved in the Burrows's domestic abuse case, John wants to exorcise his demons once and for all, as Tony Jordan's fast-paced police drama continues. He visits his estranged father, who is currently serving time for murder.

Realising his visit was pointless, John decides to close the door on his sadistic father once and for all. However, John Snr knows exactly which buttons to press to rile his son and is unable to let him leave without having his say. Before John can escape his grubby clutches for good, his father drops a bombshell that will change John's marriage for ever: he flaunts a letter and pictures of his children and wife Kate, which she naively sent in the vain hope of a reconciliation.

An angry and betrayed John drives home to Kate and starts a row that sends him on a downward spiral of self-destruction. In the heat of the moment John raises his fist to Kate, an action that shocks and sickens them both.

The normally by-the-book DS Luke French uses uncharacteristic tactics in the ongoing Burrows case. He tries to encourage battered wife Judy Burrows to admit to the violence she has suffered at the hands of her husband, and that her son attacked his father because he was provoked. However, even though her husband is ill in hospital, Judy is still scared to go against him even though it will bring
14 years of hell to an end.

Meanwhile, back at the station, after a day of endless teasing and questioning from his colleague, PC Kelly Cooper, PC Neil Parker finally reveals the identity of his secret love. But Kelly is taken aback when she hears Neil's surprising revelation.

John Keenan is played by Cal MacAninch, John Snr by Kenneth Colley, Kate by Zoë Lucker, DS Luke French by Richard Harrington, Judy Burrows by Amanda Drew, PC Kelly Cooper by Chloe Howman and PC Neil Parker by Jimmy Akingbola.

    Series 2, Episode 7

It's new boy PC Jake Loughton's first shift at Holby South but his first day at the precinct isn't running as smoothly as he'd hoped, as Tony Jordan's fast-paced police drama continues. Lucy is in charge of helping him settle in but she is finding it difficult to be paired with someone so soon after Robert's death. As Lucy tries to make friends with her new colleague she becomes increasingly annoyed when he insists on patronising her. Their focus is quickly brought back on the job when they're caught up in a case investigating two robbers on a smash-and-grab spree.

Back at the station, a rowdy group of drunken women is brought in after their night on the town ended in a brawl.
PC William Jackson is embarrassed to discover that his estranged mother, Linda, is amongst the gang.

Meanwhile, keen to secure time away from the stresses of her job and family, Jenny joins John's wife, Kate, and Luke's wife, Mandy, on a girls' night out. The girls are surprised to see Scott arrive at the bar after what turned out to be a disastrous blind date. Mandy and a heavily pregnant Jenny decide to call it a night, leaving Kate alone with Scott. Against her better judgement, she stays for another drink.

Following his declaration of love, Neil has an awkward start to the evening's shift with Kelly. They are assigned to a long evening's stake out, which doesn't make the frosty atmosphere any better. Neil doesn't regret admitting his feelings for his colleague but, when Kelly finally opens up, he's far from prepared for her honest admission.

PC Jake Loughton is played by James Thornton, PC Lucy Slater by Elaine Glover, PC William Jackson by Joe Jacobs, Linda by Sharon Duce, Inspector Jenny Black by Kacey Ainsworth, Kate Keenan by Zoë Lucker, DS Luke French by Richard Harrington, Mandy French by Stephanie Langton, DCI Scott Vaughan by Oliver Milburn, PC Neil Parker by Jimmy Akingbola and PC Kelly Cooper by Chloe Howman.

    Series 2, Episode 8

Determined to nail Holby's most wanted pimp and drug dealer, Toby Wilson, Scott calls for a raid on a brothel, where CID suspect he's also making his young prostitutes sell drugs, in this week's episode of Tony Jordan's fast-paced police drama.

Getting Wilson's team of petrified prostitutes to open up is proving harder than CID anticipated. One of the young girls, Charlie Bailey, has been caught with drugs in her room and CID take her in for questioning. While John and Luke work to get a confession from Charlie, PCs Jake Loughton and Lucy Slater deal with a worried mother, Fiona Glover, whose teenage daughter, Jessica, has gone missing.

Lucy discovers a link between the two cases and it becomes apparent from further interviews with Charlie that Jessica is in serious trouble.

Intrigued to find out why Jake is being so touchy about his transfer to Holby South, Lucy does some secret investigating and finally solves the mystery surrounding the newest member of their shift.

Christian receives an unexpected visit from Miranda, a former drug addict he helped get back on the straight and narrow. Excited at her new lease of life, Miranda confesses that she's not only clean and out of rehab, but she also has a job interview. Christian is delighted at her news, but even happier at the prospect of spending more time with Miranda.

After Jenny suffers a pregnancy scare, she tells Christian he'll be taking over the shift as Acting Inspector from now on and, with minimum fuss, she leaves the station without saying goodbye to her beloved team.

Toby Wilson is played by Jake Duttine, DCI Scott Vaughan by Oliver Millburn, Charlie Bailey by Hannah Kew, DI John Keenan by Cal MacAninch, DS Luke French by Richard Harrington, PC Jake Loughton by James Thornton, PC Lucy Slater by Elaine Glover, Fiona Glover by Janet Dibley, Jessica Glover by Laura Greenwood, Custody Sergeant Christian Young by James Hillier, Miranda by Ania Sowinski and Inspector Jenny Black by Kacey Ainsworth.

I really hope Kate and Scott don't have an affair. I like Kate with John.

    Series 2, Episode 10

Lucy and Jake arrive at the scene of a burglary to find a branch manager lying unconscious after being shot, as Tony Jordan's fast-paced police drama continues. Next to him is his traumatised colleague, Stella. CID is soon on the scene and quick to conclude it's an inside job. It's now up to the team to figure out which member of staff was involved and which violent criminal they're associated with.

After a spate of burglaries on the local estate, Neil and Kelly are on patrol in an attempt to reassure local residents that the latest crime spree is being taken seriously. During their patrol, a clearly worried Kelly confesses to her partner that her husband, Roger, stayed out all night. Still in love with his colleague, Neil is quick to ask if she suspects there is another woman involved, an accusation Kelly quickly denies.

Whilst on the estate, the duo are distracted by a confused old man called Clarence. After some detective work, they are able to hand him over to his next of kin. Later in the day, Neil and Kelly rush back to the estate when another burglary is reported. This time, though, the intruder is still lurking inside the property, and is a familiar face to the concerned PCs.

Elsewhere, following the birth of their first child, Luke and Mandy's marriage is going from strength to strength. Having noticed Luke's natural talent with the fairer sex, John asks his colleague for some tips to help win over his wife, Kate. Just as Luke thinks life couldn't get any better, however, he receives some devastating news that will change his life for ever...
