Actor Richard Dillane joins the cast from March as new Orthopaedic Consultant Sean Anderson.
Sean is described as giving off an air of ownership and authority. When he walks into a room, he commands attention. His authoritarian air leaves no one in any doubt that he knows his stuff and should be respected for it. He tells it like it is, no beating around the bush. He's all about stability and predictability. You'll never find him making a fool of himself, and you'll never catch him off guard.
In his first episode, to be screened on 1st March he crosses paths with Zoe. They flirt, and Zoe asks him to meet her, but he says he can't. She asks if his wife has booked him up - she has.
Actor Richard Dillane has appeared in a previous episode of CASUALTY last series as guest character Anthony Sharman. his other TV credits include Soldier Soldier, Redcap, Rome and Hustle. His films roles include Wing Commander, The Edge of Love and Mad, Bad & Sad.
