pat and peggy.. must see tv

    From the daily star:
Peggy and Pat square up again

    P

IT’S enough to make Frank Butcher turn in his grave – and he isn’t even there yet.
In the week of his funeral, EastEnders battleaxes Peggy and Pat will square up for a furious bitch-fight.
The warring duo, played by Barbara Windsor and Pam St Clement, lash out in a row over which of them he loved the most.
After divorcing Pat, Frank wed Peggy but cheated on her with his ex. The Walford war kicks off as he makes his final return to Albert Square – in a coffin.
Producers had to kill Frank off after actor Mike Reid died last July. Show boss Diederick Santer said: “The funeral brings all the old emotions bubbling to the surface.
“Peggy has never forgiven Pat for having an affair with ‘her Frank’. And Pat is convinced that she was always Frank’s true love.
“Neither is prepared to let bygones be bygones and they end up having a ruck.”
The latest spat comes a decade after the two laid into each other when Peggy mistakenly became convinced that Pat was seeing Frank, her fiancé at the time.
And they had a further bust-up two years later when Peggy found out – correctly this time – Frank had been seeing Pat.
She confronted the pair in the Queen Vic and slapped them in front of startled regulars.
The latest bust-up will be shown in March when a host of old characters will return to the BBC1 soap, including Frank’s son Ricky (Sid Owen) and his former daughter-in-law Bianca (Patsy Palmer).

Although I may take my words back if they utter the following script..

    "You bitch!"
    "You cah!"
    "We're looking for Roy!"

Woo! Hopefully this will live up to expectations; I was disappointed with the Peggy/Chrissie fight at Den's funeral. Peggy when she found out about Pat and Frank was classic; I remember it and I was about 9 at the time!
