I am a sopy old cow anyway and had just finished watching 'Finding Neverland' before watching. So, of course I was in tears.

Anyway, I have never liked Chelsea, but she is a brilliant character. I can imagine how I would feel in her situation - not having any privacy at all while sleeping, eating, showering, etc. and to finally have the opportunity to not have someone looking over your shoulder - I would have relished a bit of solitude as well. It would have been great if they had actually done a bit of what it was like for her in prison - the demeaning of her and her spirit instead of focusing on Deano and his beatings.

I agree. Deano is leaving so there is little point focusing on him (well before tonight anyway) but we could have seen Chelsea in prison instead.

Tonight wasn't a patch on Xmas but it was decent enough. I wasn't sad that Kevin is leaving but I felt for Carly, losing her dad

I loved tonights episode I felt soo sorry for kevin. I hope that Phil feels bad!

I thought it was really good especially the scenes at the hospital when it was just about to go midnight. Carly and Shirley were heartbraking and then denise kissing him at new year.

I can't help but feel negative towards her as she pushed Kevin to do the last handbrake turn which resulted in the crash.

I think it has much more to do with the dodgy motor than Shirley urging Kevin to do one more handbrake turn. Phil's the one you should feel negative towards.

Parkerman I totally agree with you,, Phil should feel a bit responsible cos he was pushing Kevin to get rid of the damn cars that he knew were DEATH TRAPS.. I do not think it was Shirleys fault at all, Kevin could have easily not done the hand brake turn, that hood could have popped up at any old time .

It's not the first time Phil has been indirectly responsible for someone's death either. He goaded Dennis into beating up Johnny (because he was too cowardly to do the job himself) and Dennis effectively signed his own death warrant in doing so. And, now with Kevin. I know it wasn't Phil who made Kevin do the handbrake turns etc but he still is ultimately responsible for providing him with the cut and shuts in the first place.

I shouldn't think there will be any kind of punishment where Phil is concerned though, there never is.

I think it was just a very casual thing and Sean doesn't seem that bothered so I don't think they are really. Not like they used to be before the Patrick storyline.
