Monday 7th January
Rhys and Suzanne are at their wit's end as the hate campaign against them continues. Hannah is excited as she prepares for her first day at HCC and so Suzanne decides that they should hide the latest happenings from her. Hannah's furious when she finds out, and flies off the handle against her family for being over-protective. Josh and Rhys suspect Ste is behind Suzanne's latest vendetta against her, but after a brief altercation with Rhys, Ste protests his innocence. That night, a brick is thrown through the window of Drive 'n' Buy, but is Ste really responsible?
Mike's busy preparing an anniversary meal for him and Kathy but Kathy's preoccupied with plans of her own. Zoe's awkward around Mike having had a dirty dream about him and is only too glad to get out of the house for a while. When she returns she finds Mike alone, waiting for Kathy. With no idea where his wife is, Mike and Zoe enjoy an evening together until a disgruntled Kathy comes home.
Amy and Michaela bump into Nige at school and he convinces Michaela to pass some weed on to a schoolmate. Later, Amy finds out that Michaela's still got the drugs on her and as they argue about what to do with it, Russ comes by. Michaela legs it, leaving Amy caught red-handed. Will she be expelled or should she be more worried about what Nige will do when he finds out his drugs have been confiscated.
Zak is frustrated by Katy and Justin's romance being flaunted constantly in front of him. Katy feels guilty and she and Justin attempt to find Zak a girlfriend but he mistakenly thinks they are just trying to get rid of him. But later, as the boys have a bit of laddish fun, it's Katy who finds herself feeling left out.
Tuesday 8th January
Josh, Rhys and Suzanne clean up the mess in Drive 'N' Buy while making a report to the police about the latest vendetta against them. The family find themselves discussing who could be doing this to them and worry that the suspect could be closer to them than they realise. Hannah is mortified when she overhears her family questioning whether she might be the one responsible and turns to Sarah for support. Meanwhile, Carmel shows Suzanne CCTV footage of the window being smashed, but they can't make out who it is. Determined to catch the culprit, Carmel steps up her investigations and discovers a vital clue but can she convince everyone else that she knows who the guilty party is.
Ste insists that it's up to Michaela to pay Nige back, and tells Amy not to worry if she is kicked out of school - she'll just have to get a job instead. Amy is reassured at first but when Sarah catches her job hunting, she is forced to admit that she's afraid she'll be expelled for something that isn't even her fault. Adamant that Amy won't be blamed for something she didn't do, Sarah marches her to the school to track down Russ, who is still tussling with whether or not to tell Mrs Webster about the drugs. Can Sarah convince Russ to keep his mouth shut and can Amy come up with the cash to keep Nige off her back.
At the McQueens', Mercedes and Carmel find Myra packing up family belongings for a church jumble sale and insisting that they should be more charitable. Mercedes is unimpressed but Carmel insists that she's doing her bit by trying to work out who has it in for the Ashworths. At lunchtime, Mercedes is skiving off with Carmel, and is distracted further by a handsome stranger in The Dog. When Mercedes attentions are rejected she goes home in a fury, but is shocked when a knock at the door reveals Kieron, the handsome stranger on her doorstep!
Wednesday 9th January
Michaela is smitten by the McQueens new house guest. John Paul is amused as he watches Michaela flirting with Father Kieron but Michaela is undaunted. Myra is horrified when she realises that her daughter is flaunting herself in front of the priest but it seems Michaela is determined to get her man.
Amy is still reeling from the revelations that Kathy was behind the attacks and vows never to talk to her again. In admidst the chaos though she's failed to realise that it's Ste's 18th today. Amy's determined to mark the occaision but when Ste's mum arrives it becomes the birthday from hell. When they finally get the flat back to themselves Ste finds himself taking his frustration out on Amy and lashes out on her.
Mike and Sarah are shocked when Kathy returns from the police station without a care in the world. Father and daughter are dumbfounded that Kathy's acting as if nothing ever happened but Sarah soon realises that Kathy needs their help more than ever. She convinces Mike that they have to support Kathy, despite what she's done and Mike reluctantly agrees. When she returns home though Kathy's sent spiralling when she catches Zoe and Mike a little too close for comfort.
Thursday 10th January
Mike is determined to try and do the right thing by Kathy and insists to Zoe that he has faith in his marriage. His pledge though is interupted by Kathy's screams as she throws Zoe's underwear across the village and calls Zoe a harlot. Zoe and Mike vehemntly deny having an affair but nothing can silence Kathy. Still reeling from last night's violence, Amy is alarmed when she walks right into the middle of an argument. With more important things to worry her for now, Amy has no hesitation in shutting the door in Ste's face when he comes determined to win her back. His patience tried to the limit, a desolate Mike announces that Kathy should leave the family home – but will Amy and Sarah go along with the decision?
Myra is thrilled that Kieron is enjoying his time with them and enjoys being able to fuss over him. Michaela is still determined to get her man and vows to show Kieron what he's missing. John Paul is amused by his sister's determination but Michaela is undaunted. When Michaela comes home, trying to wow Kieron with her religious knowledge, Myra wonders when this is going to end.
On a high after getting one over Kris, Elliot is even more chuffed when Kris confides that his boss thinks the pirates are more popular than him. As an agitated Kris reveals he is under pressure to nail the pirates or the show will be axed, Elliot is secretly overjoyed but manages to hide it. John Paul is amused that they got one over Kris but he is not really interested in carrying on the pirates caper, as for him it was only a one-off meant to dent Kris' ego. But, as a desperate Elliot pleads for one last time, John Paul is left feeling a twinge of guilt – he knows how much this means to Elliot. Will John Paul give in to Elliot pleas?
Friday 11th January
Still reeling from Kathy's departure, the Barnes' family try to adjust in different ways. Worried that this is her fault, Zoe decides to move out of the Barnes' household, despite Sarah insisting she stays. Determined to forget the chaos of her family life, Sarah drags a reluctant Zoe out on the lash but later, while Sarah is passed out wasted, Mike and Zoe share a bottle of wine. Zoe suddenly finds herself confessing her feelings to Mike, but does he feel the same way?
Ste awakes lonely and guilty, but when he calls Amy to apologise he gets her answering machine. Amy wanders the village with Leah, feeling isolated from her family and not knowing where to turn. She bumps into Michaela but has little time for her friend's self-centred ramblings and decides to follow Michaela's advice to make it up with Ste. Ste is overjoyed to see her, but their reconciliation is interrupted by the arrival of Terry, Ste's step-dad, who has an offer to make.
As Michaela gets ready for school, she mortifies Kieron, Myra and John Paul by attempting to flirt outrageously with Kiaran. Michaela is displeased that Kiaran treats her like a silly schoolgirl, and asks a distracted and uninterested Amy for advice on sexy underwear to seduce him. Dressed up in her sexiest clothes, she throws herself shamelessly at Kiaran, but will he rebuff her advances.
John Paul is concerned to find Elliot on the HCC Roof, about to broadcast another pirate radio session, but Elliot insists that the attention means too much to him to stop. John Paul leaves him to it, but later in The Dog, Elliot is in danger of giving himself away to Kris, who is defensive and annoyed about The Pirate's popularity. As it looks like Kris is about to uncover the secret identity of his radio rival, John Paul swoops in and steals Elliot's thunder.
