    Steven Spoiler

I read somewhere that after Ian and Jane disown him Pat offers to get him to work on Martin's stall but the crazed lad smashes up the stall and points the finger of blame at Stacey. At first everyone is sorry for him but Ian's CCTV camera shows clearly that Steven's the culprit.

Oh my god. My sympathy for him is being severely tested here.

I don't know how reliable the Daily Star website is so it might just be a misleading spoiler. I hope it is. I don't want Steven going down the David Platt route. It must surely be misleading because I don't see Stacey reasoning with him not to send himself up in flames if he frames her for something like that - it doesn't make sense. After all there were lots of soap magaines claiming that Sean would walk in on Max and Stacey in the Queen Vic or that Tanya would find out and it never happened.

Actually the date on which he supposedly discovers his smashed stall is 22nd November. The week after he is at the club opening and the week after that Saceey reasons with him. I just noticed tht so now it's all making sense andit fits with the confirmation that he's set to become a regular. I thought at first it was nonsense that he frames Stacey like that and then she reasons with him - I mean why should she if he is that twisted? But now it is starting to make sense. Maybe he renews his medication after the incident with the stall and calms down a bit more.

Steven might be attention-seeking about him wrecking the stall so everybody can look at him etc

And also getting Ian and Jane to notice him, but then again how can they not notice him - he outside their house and cafe lol

Or maybe Steven has a plan up his sleeves concerning his stall

Mmm - on Digital Spy it is xplained away as a cry or help - well I can't condone it and I have to be angry at him for it but if he isstill not fully well and has gone off his meds though going off themis is own fault, well...

I'm glad that this only happens on the week of the 22nd. That is encouraging since I noticed Steven is at the club the following week and it is the week after that Stacey reasons with him.

    Here's the actual article:

TWISTED teenager Steven Wicks trashes his own market stall after struggling to fit back into life on Albert Square.

Outcast Steven is given the clothes stall by his gran Pat Butcher in a bid to help him rebuild his shattered life.

But after being disowned by *stepdad Ian and his traumatised wife Jane, strung-out Steven smashes up his business. And next day he blows his top and blames Stacey Slater for *sabotaging his stall.

The Walford weirdo is challenging Corrie’s David Platt for the title of soapland’s sickest youngster.

And the Daily Star Sunday’s EastEnders mole revealed exactly how he tries to cover his own back. Our source said:

“Steven arrives back in the Square determined to make amends for kidnapping Ian and shooting Jane.

“But not surprisingly, they don’t want anything to do with him.

“Pat takes him in and offers him Martin’s old market stall to sell clothes.

“But in a desperate cry for help, Steven smashes it up at night and then decides to point the finger at Stacey. He ends up boasting to all those who will listen that he has been to the police to inform them of the act of vandalism and that there will be hell to pay.”

At first the manipulative lad’s plan seems to have worked.

And some of the locals even end up feeling sorry for him.

But according to the insider, his deception won’t be kept under wraps for long.

She added: “Viewers will see that Ian’s chippy has a CCTV camera that ends up capturing Steven red- handed.

“The only question is whether anyone will think to check the tape before it gets recorded over.”

Watch Steven discover his smashed-up stall on Thursday November 22 at 7.30pm on BBC1.

But somehow I'm not sure if that is fully right because the spoilers for the coming weeks suggest he and Stacey become best mates and how could anyone be best mates with someone who framed them for something like that? Unless of course Stacey realises he was not right in the head and since her mum is mentally ill and she has a history of dealing with mental illness but even then...

    Another Steven spoiler:

'Steven Beale continues his struggle to embark on a new life in Walford this week, but only succeeds in souring relations with vengeful Ian even further. The teeneager is delighted when Kevin allows him to take over Deano's stall, and thinks his new opportunity might help him put down some roots. Ian has other ideas, however, and makes it clear that Steven's presence won't change the fact that he hates him for his recent kidnap drama that led to Jane being shot. Nevertheless, the chip shop owner gets a chilling insight into Steven's psyche when the lad's stall is trashed - and CCTV footage makes it clear that the disturbed young man needs all the help he can get...'
And there is a picture of him at his stall and it looks like he will be selling emo/punk/gothic style of clothes.

I understand Ian's anger and fustration but Steven stopped doing things to hurt the family after the shooting and i think it's about time Ian stopped this. I don't mind Ian ignoring Steven and hating him but being snide to him isn't going to help. Instead of wasting his energy trying to get at Steven he should be looking after his wife. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Ian always makes snide remarks but you have got to understand what Steven has put him through and I am not just talking about recent events. He has made ian life hell since he was old enough to understand that Simon was his dad and not Ian. He went to NZ to be with his "real" dad and that didn't work out so he blames Ian.. the guy has a screw loose and I don't feel sorry for him at all.
He has wreaked 2 of Ian's marriage and he blames Ian for killing his mum. Ian has looking after Steven for most of his life even when he knew Steven was not his son. He was heartbroken that Steven chose Simon over him and if Steven had come back the " normal" way, then it would be different but he comes back to haunt and scare Ian into madness and then locks him up for weeks while he gets cosy at home with his family and his "Dad"'s wife.. No wonder Ian is none to pleased

No-one is condoning what he did. Of course it was wrong to do that. Though I have some sympathy because I understand he was unwell and though better now not fully well and that he would never intentionally physically hurt anyone and loves his grandmother, brother and sister genuinely but of course what he did was twisted and wrong. Two of Ian's marriages? I thought he only ruined his latest marriage to Jane. Laura fell down the stairs remember. I know about the poison pen letter buisiness but that was when he was 12 and though wrong well...many years have gone by since then. It's true that he shouldn't have left Ian but I suppose he did want to know - if I remember right, he said he just wanted to know and he had that right.

He did blame Ian for Cindy dying in prison but that was obviously a delusion and I don't think he believes that any more. The clinic helped a little and when he called Ian "dad" that was a sign he was slowly comming back to normal. But remember Jane suffered far worse - Steven lost her the chance ever to have children though accidentally and yet she is not wasting time sniping at him. She was angry with him and scared of him yes and understandably so but she got her points across and I think Jane would just ignore him rather than stirring things and making it worse. He was on the point of handing himself in which shows his repentance is genuine and fromthe sound of it after Ian chucked him out he stays away so there is no need for Ian to stop him rebuilding his life. I would have thought on the contrary that seeing what he put Ian through Ian would never speak to him again - at least for a while.

but for Ian it is once bitten.... How is Ian to know that Steven is better and that he is not going to let him get close again cause Steven might be faking??? And as I said, sniping is what Ian does!!!

Isn't Martin's stall (fruit and veg stall) now belonged to Ian and Billy works there?

    Maybe its Deano/Jake/Alfie's stall
