In the Rovers Eileen has a bit of fun with the gossips who think her and Steve are now a couple. Eileen then continues her streak of fun by winding Gail up about the wedding plans for Jason and Sarah. Lloyd arrives and tells Steve that he has just brought Michelle and Ryan back to the street but will Steve go and talk to her?

D.I Parks returns wanting to question the witnesses to the fire, Jerry and Jamie. Ashley is concerned that the police still think Claire did it and Claire is frustrated by her conversation with D.I Parks.

It's the day of the big move, Leanne and Janice are busily trying to tidy the flat for Roger's arrival. Roger arrives with his arm still in a sling and lots of boxes! Still feeling guilty Leanne thinks of another way to get the money for the restaurant and pay Roger back. Could Steve or Dev help her out?

Steve is back in the Rovers pouring a pint, telling Vernon that it's definitely over between him and Michelle. Eileen thinks Steve should give Michelle a chance to explain. Outside the corner shop Eileen bumps into Michelle, who is shocked to discover Steve thinks their relationship is over.

A nervous Michelle visits Steve, where they have a chat over a cup of tea, but it's when they have some wine that their true feelings are revealed.

Vernon thinks Liz needs a new addiction to take her mind off smoking. But Liz spends most of her time trying to listen through the door to Steve and Michelle's conversation!

Norris is still suffering with pain from his bunions, but Doreen thinks it's also connected with the death of Angela. After talking with Emily, Norris decides to go to the funeral, even if it is to make sure Angela is actually dead.

Cilla considers her options and decides on a new career all thanks to Becky.

    8th August

The Peacocks are unaware they are under surveillance, as Casey watches them from her car. She sees Ashley order Claire into the house after she confronts Jamie about his discussions with the police. Claire and Ashley's argument is interrupted by a phone call from Casey in which she arranges to meet with Claire in the café.

In Roy's Rolls, Claire confides in Casey that she is convinced the police think she is the arsonist and thinks that Ashley might agree with them. Casey is secretly pleased with this development.

Michelle tells Ryan about her relationship with Steve and they don't get the reaction they were expecting. Later on Steve is the subject of teasing after Lloyd and Jamie see Eileen's holiday photo's.

Norris attends Angela's funeral, where he meets the other ex-husbands. Their raucous behaviour in the Rovers after the service would leave Angela spinning in her grave.

Leanne and Paul lay on the charm as they try to impress Dev with their business proposition, but will they get the result they want?

It's the day of Cilla's interview job interview at the care home, which doesn't go quite as she planned.

    10th August

In the Rovers with Casey, Claire becomes increasingly more paranoid when she thinks the girls from Underworld are laughing at her. They're actually teasing Sally about studying but Casey takes it as an opportunity to increase Claire's paranoia that people are talking about her.

Later, Claire is cold towards Hayley and Becky at the bus stop. A worried Hayley speaks with Ashley about Claire's unusual behaviour. Back at the Peacocks', Casey's phone call interrupts Claire and Ashley's heated conversation about Hayley's concerns. Later, over a cup of tea at the Peacocks', a trusting Claire takes on board some very drastic advise from Casey.

Carla decides it's time to move out of Michelle's flat. She enlists the help of Michelle and Steve to help her move her stuff and insists Liam stays to work at the factory. Later, she returns to work, where Liam is concerned and reassures her that she's not alone if she wants to talk.

Eileen accidentally spills the beans about Shania. Steve is pestered by Lloyd and Jamie for more details. Michelle also becomes curious about Steve's time in Malta when he is reluctant to talk about it.

Intrigue surrounds Norris and his new friends, when he is reluctant to talk about them to Doreen and Emily.

She later accuses Gray of being in collusion with his mother and throws him out, leaving him to seek solace from Paul. Could there be more on the table than comfort though?

Warming to her campaign, Victoria tells Scarlett that Daz is a huge Will Young fan, as well as liking Take That and James Blunt. Not seeing the devilish glint in Victoria's eye, Scarlett sets about making a compilation CD for him. Is Scarlett heading for heartbreak?

Elsewhere, Pearl begins moving back to Jacobs Fold but is distraught by the state of the place after the flooding. Unable to cover the costs (and with Pollard refusing to help), she decides to go up against Jamie for the job as the new postman. Will her plan deliver the funds that she needs?
