Mad Mum Kathy Barnes is arrested after kid-napping her own grand-daugter.

Tensions have been at breaking point in their household since derranged Kathy convinced daughter Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) to pretend her child - Leah was in fact her sister.

But when the truth is finally made public, Kathy, cracks up.

She runs away with the tot, leaving a distraught Amy fearing the worst.

A Hollyoaks source said: "Kathy is furious that Amy told the truth that Leah is in fact her daughter.

"It is an explosive ending to one of Hollyoaks biggest storylines."

ooh, good i like the way they arent planning on dragging this out for as long as i thought. Its seems a bit far fetched but then you read its the character of Kathy Barnes and it all seems relitivley normal.

i agree, she reallys annoys me. i think the start of it was yesterday, how she was taking over and having a go at amy when she was doing just fine looking after leah. and the way she said to amy "youll have plenty of time to learn when you have your own children", is kathy that mad that she really believes leah is hers?!

in the tv mag from the sun it said this happens this week, and that when leahs found kathy is taken in by the police for questioning
