    Hollyoaks Spoilers - 2nd - 6th July

    Monday 2nd July

Sarah is excited that she's made the cover of a leading magazine but although her friends are very supportive, her dad is less than impressed, thinking the picture is trashy and sleazy. She could have handled an argument but seeing how disappointed her father is in her, is enough to make her question if she's made the right decision. John Paul bumps into a distraught Sarah following her discussion with her dad and she tells him that Craig is the only sane thing in her life. John Paul's guilt is unbearable. John Paul goes to tell Craig that he can't finish with Sarah. Craig, however, relieved but knows John Paul wont be happy to stay a secret for long.

Max goes to another meeting at Social Services to see Tom and is hurt by how distant Tom is, and is rocked by Tom's call for Max to stay away from him. Not wanting to put his little brother through anymore, Max goes home and starts packing away all of Tom's belongings. He tells O.B. he is going to drop them off at Tom's foster home. O.B., however, is worried that Max is giving up, but what else can Max do?

Warren is arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of Clare Cunningham. DS Grant informs Warren that Clare has said she was pushed off the stairs by him, but a smug Warren claims that at the time of the attack, he was in bed with Mercedes McQueen. When DS Grant follows this up with Mercedes, she denies it, claiming that Warren is deluded. Jacqui criticises Mercedes over her treatment of both Russ and Warren, claiming that she is selfish for cheating on her fiancé and also willing to let Warren go to prison for something he didn't do.

    Tuesday 3rd July

Calvin receives a letter from work telling him that in light of Warren's arrest, his suspension from the police force has been lifted - but he's not so sure that he wants to return. Louise is horrified when she sees the newspaper headline about Warren being arrested for the attack on Clare. When she goes to Drive ‘N' Buy, Sasha insinuates that she believes Louise is also responsible for the attack; Louise runs out of the shop. She decides to drown her sorrows and when Leo sees the state she's in, he decides to take her back to her flat. Calvin spots the pair together and confronts them. He sees that Louise is clearly drunk and she asks him to arrest her. Calvin is confused but Louise admits that she thinks that it wasn't Warren who pushed Clare – it was her.

Melissa is trying to convince Sarah that she is making a mistake by giving up modelling. The two girls were meant to have a photo shoot together that weekend; without Sarah, Melissa also loses the contract. Sarah and Melissa go to The Dog to see Craig. Melissa continues to jibe Sarah about quitting modeling and Craig says he supports whatever decision she makes. Sarah starts to feel guilty about letting her friend down and realises that the money she earned through modelling could pay for a good holiday for her and Craig.

Mercedes and Russ return to the McQueen's after celebrating all night. They walk in to discover Leo Valentine in his boxers; clearly having spent the night with Myra. The morning paper arrives and the topic of conversation turns to the probable guilt of Warren Fox in the Clare Cunningham case. Mercedes avoids the discussion and instead looks at the job pages. She circles some high-paid vacancies for Russ. Jacqui tries her best to make Mercedes feel guilty about abandoning Warren. The conversation between the pair is very heated and is only interrupted up by a surprise arrival…

Clare is discharged from hospital and having no-one to look after her, has had to hire a nurse to help her around the flat. Clare is in bed when the nurse answers a knock at the door. As Clare tries to get back on her feet she's shocked by a surprise visitor…

    Wednesday 4th July

Max pays Clare an unexpected visit. With her nurse gone, Clare is alone, vulnerable and very scared. Max demands that Clare speaks to Social Services and Tom, so that she can put right all the wrong that she has done so far. Max threatens to poison Clare and finish the job; without Tom he has nothing to lose. Clare claims that Max is too weak-minded to do anything to her and warns him that she could change her statement to the police to say it was Max that attacked her and not Warren. Max loses his temper and attacks Clare – but will he be able to ever get Tom back?

Nana McQueen is busy fussing over Mercedes and telling her how proud she is. Her opinions of Myra and Jacqui are slightly more scathing and it might not be too long before Nana outstays her welcome. Russ is out job hunting and Mercedes clearly has high hopes as she books appointments to view a number of luxury flats.

Later, an upbeat Russ returns home with a new job. Mercedes is ecstatic until she realises that it's not quite the high-powered job she'd hoped for. Father Raymond arrives at the McQueens' to run through the wedding vows with Mercedes and Russ. Mercedes starts to feel guilty about sleeping with Warren and asks for a moment alone with the priest. As she confesses to the priest, she admits that she is torn between her love for Russ and the knowledge that an innocent man will go to prison. As she battles with her conscience – which will she choose?

Calvin goes to see Louise. She's in a bad way and explains that she has closed Evissa until further notice. Calvin asks her what she remembers about the night of Clare's attack. She again reiterates that she can't remember anything from that night. Louise tells Calvin that she's got nobody to talk to. He invites her back to his. Calvin tells Louise that if she did push Clare then it was only justice and that Warren will get everything he deserves if found guilty. He also tells her that if Warren is found not guilty, they will both be suspects. So in order to protect themselves, they should use each other as alibis. The pair end up in bed together, but Calvin instantly realises he's made a mistake. Calvin may lie to the police to protect them both, but he certainly doesn't want to be with Louise.

    Thursday 5th July

Louise is still deeply troubled about the prospect that Warren may go to prison for something she might have done. She speaks to Jack to find out what Warrens chances are if he's prosecuted. What Jack tells her is not what she wants to hear. Warren is surprised when Louise pays him a visit in prison. Louise confides in him that she believes she may have been the person who attacked Clare. Warren tells her that she doesn't have it in her and that it could have been any one of Clare's numerous enemies. Unconvinced, Louise heads back to the village where she comes face to face with Clare. She's come to say goodbye as she's leaving the village for a while. Louise tries to tell Clare that Warren's not the murderer but Clare is adamant that he is.

Max and O.B. desperately want to see if Clare will retract her statement to Social Services. O.B.'s cynical and wants to know exactly what happened yesterday between Max and Clare. Max is relieved when Clare arrives at Social Services but she warns him that she knows exactly what she's going to say. Will Tom be coming home or could Max have lost him for good?

Jessica is in serious financial trouble. Struggling to even buy food, she is tempted to eat Zak's leftovers from the bin. When Zak and Gilly invite Jessica for a drink, she explains her money troubles and tells them she can't waste money on beer. Gilly can see that she is upset so stays to help her sort things out. Zak heads down the pub on his own, where Darren quizzes him about his and Zoe's relationship. Darren is surprised and flattered to hear that Zoe actually fancies him, although he feels guilty as he can see it hurts Zak. Torn between the girl of his dreams and his first proper mate, Darren realises he can't have it all.

    Friday 6th July

Katy walks into Louse's flat to find her passed out on the couch and surrounded by empty bottles. Katy is shocked that Louise is in such a state and sets about tidying up the flat while Louise cleans does some tidying of her own. Louise tells Katy that Warren isn't doing too well in prison and that she should go and see him she'd appreciate it.

When Katy pays Warren a visit he protests his innocence about Clare's attempted murder, although he is less than convincing when talking about the Sean Kennedy murder or the attack on Justin. Katy no longer believes she can trust her brother and leaves. Has Warren seen his sister for the very last time?

Jessica is distraught when Tony sacks her from Il Gnosh for stealing food. She protests to her flatmates that the food she took was only going to be thrown away. Elliot informs her of a global movement known as the “Freegans” who scavenge waste food from shops and restaurants. Jessica likes the sound of this idea, so her and Gilly head off to the Drive ‘N' Buy to try their luck. When they get there, Zak is in the shop on his own. He tells them reluctantly that there is some food in the back ready to be thrown out and that they can help themselves. Jessica and Gilly get carried away and end up helping themselves to the stock cupboard, snaffling bottles of wine and olive oil. Zak is less than impressed.

Josh and Fletch decide to form a band to keep them occupied over the summer holidays. When Josh talks about getting Amy to do vocals, Fletch realises his friend maybe more motivated by his love life than artistic intention. Amy and Michaela arrive at the Ashworths' to see the boys. They're both really excited at the idea of the band but Michaela fails to realise that the others don't want her to be part of it. When Amy leaves, she gives Josh a kiss on the cheek: his plan to get back in her good books might just have worked.
