    Holby Blue Spoilers

    Episode 1

It's a busy time for the team at Holby South, with Asbos aplenty, mountains of paper work and a handful of new recruits to integrate. However, they remain committed to "shaping a safer Holby", even if their personal lives suffer as a result.

It's DS Luke French's first day, and DCI Harry Hutchinson wastes no time in introducing him to his new Inspector, DI John Keenan, whose passion for the job knows no bounds. After sizing up CID's newest member, John sets Luke straight to work on a case.

Garry Drake is fiercely possessive of his wife, but, when he threatens to shoot her, the team brings him in. During the interview, Luke notices that Garry has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. As he seems to be getting nowhere fast, John decides to ruffle Garry's feathers by making a mess. However, being a man who likes to do things by the book, Luke soon learns how unconventional his new DI can be.

It is also probationer Lucy Slater's first day, although she makes a clumsy entrance to her first brief. The station's stern and organised Inspector, Jenny Black, partners her with PC Robert Clifton, a self-confessed God's gift to women, who is hugely disappointed and finds Lucy nothing but annoying.

Whilst they are on patrol, Lucy receives a call to arrest suspected paedophile Russell Bennett. Seeing him nearby, she is quick on his heels. Unable to pull Robert away from his latest conquest, and, despite it being her first arrest, Lucy goes it alone, but finds herself in a dangerous situation.

Elsewhere, after an eventful time bowling with his two kids, John takes them home to his estranged wife, Kate. Noticing a new car in his old driveway, and curious to know who the owner is, John questions Kate.

DS Luke French is played by Richard Harrington, DCI Harry Hutchinson by Tim Pigott-Smith, DI John Keenan by Cal Macaninch, Garry Drake by Johnny Harris, Lucy Slater by Elaine Glover, Inspector Jenny Black by Kacey Ainsworth, PC Robert Clifton by Kieran O'Brien, Russell Bennett by Liam McKenna and Kate by Zöe Lucker.

    Episode 2

Drugs baron Neculai Stenga frightens his girlfriend, Louise, by unexpectedly and violently assaulting a prostitute, as HolbyBlue, the BBC's exciting new precinct drama, continues. Shocked and afraid, Louise reports the attack to the only police officer she can trust, her ex-boyfriend PC William Jackson. Agreeing to testify against Stenga, Louise is promised police protection in return for her statement.

Knowing Louise holds the key to his future freedom, Stenga arranges a hit on her by one of his henchmen, Steven Price. After distracting the officers protecting her, Price knocks Louise over, nearly killing her and only just missing her young daughter. Angry and frustrated at the danger Louise and her daughter were put in, William loses his head and, without authorisation or evidence, storms into Stenga's headquarters and "arrests" Price.

Meanwhile, excited about a prospective job at the station, Kate fancies a celebration and invites her ex, John, round for supper, and he readily accepts. However, complications are just around the corner when, unbeknown to Kate, he has double booked.

After a one-night stand with Rachel from CPS, John begins to regret hastily arranging a second date, especially as Rachel couldn't be keener. After being dropped by John, Rachel becomes suspicious of his paper-thin excuse. After finding out his real plans, she delights in sticking a "bitchy" spanner in the works...

Neculai Stenga is played by Velibor Topic, Louise by Anna Acton, PC William Jackson by Joe Jacobs, Steven Price by Peter Ferdinando, Kate by Zöe Lucker, John by Cal Macaninch and Rachel by Sara Powell.

    Episode 3

DS Luke French and his wife, Mandy, are devastated when their second attempt at IVF fails, as HolbyBlue, the BBC's exciting new precinct drama, continues. In an effort to get away from it all, Luke arranges a weekend break for them both. However, when Luke's terminally ill mother calls for help, his loyalties are split and priorities called into question.

PC Neil Parker and partner PC Kelly Cooper, meanwhile, find a batch of stolen goods in a shed. Plagued by money problems, Kelly discovers an envelope of cash amongst the goods and finds herself in a quandary.

Elsewhere, PC Lucy Slater is tasked with helping Desk Sergeant Mac deal with a tense and agitated man called Martin. Unbeknown to Mac, Martin nabs a security pass, sneaks back into the station and, armed with a chisel, traps Lucy in the locker room. Alerted by the noise, Mac comes to investigate but, terrified at the prospect of such a crisis, falters, and Lucy gets stabbed.

Meanwhile, DI John Keenan is pumped up and determined to finally nail Stenga with a raid, after a suspect has informed the team that a shipment of crystal meth is about to arrive. Poised to storm the truck and confiscate its contents, the team discover they have been duped as the truck contains nothing but heart-shaped balloons.

With the plan foiled, and only a few people in the know about the raid, John has to consider the possibility of a leak within the station. The true identity of this mole is sure to have far-reaching consequences.

DS Luke French is played by Richard Harrington, Mandy French by Julie Cox, PC Neil Parker by Jimmy Akingbola, PC Kelly Cooper by Chloe Howman, PC Lucy Slater by Elaine Glover, Mac by David Sterne, Martin by Adam Kotz, DI John Keenan by Cal Macaninch and Stenga by Velibor Topic.

    Episode 4

The team at Holby South continue to investigate the case against drugs baron Nicolai Stenga, and how he knew about their recent raid on his warehouse, as the BBC's exciting new precinct drama continues. The truth of the matter is far more shocking than they could ever imagine, however, and the informant is actually the man they all look up to and trust the most – DCI Harry Hutchinson.

Set on stopping his ex-girlfriend, Louise, testifying against him once and for all, Stenga demands Harry finds out the location of her safe house. A desperate Harry knows he has no choice but to divulge this information and put Louise and her daughter's lives in danger.

PC Robert Clifton is desperate to deal with an action-packed case, but, whilst in pursuit of a suspect, he trips over a worse-for-wear tramp, Pops. Robert is hardly overjoyed at the prospect of sorting out the smelly Pops, but has a battle with his conscience when he gets a call to attend a possible murder and the opportunity to deal with a stimulating case he's been clamouring for.

Meanwhile, Vinnie Dwyer, a petty thief, is thrilled to be out of prison but can't help falling back into his old ways, breaking and entering and getting caught red-handed by PC Neil Parker. Back at the station, and terrified of going to prison again, Vinnie tells DS Luke French that he has strong underworld contacts and knows information that may help both him and the CID team.

Harry is played by Tim Pigott-Smith, Louise by Anna Acton, Stenga by Velibor Topic, PC Robert Clifton by Kieran O'Brien, Pops by Howard Lee, PC Neil Parker by Jimmy Akingbola, Vinnie Dwyer by Rick Warden and DS Luke French by Richard Harrington.

    Episode 5

DCI Harry Hutchinson ends up on dangerous ground in tonight's episode of the exciting precinct drama HolbyBlue. Following the murder of informant Steven Price, DI John Keenan confides in Harry about his suspicions of a mole at the station and that he feels PC Billy Jackson could be in the frame. Harry realises he has the perfect opportunity to deflect any suspicion from him to the young PC and uses him as a scapegoat.

After a string of raids on suspected paedophiles, Inspector Jenny Black's husband, Alex, is among those hauled into the station for questioning. She's convinced of her husband's innocence, and both Jenny and John are stunned that DS Luke French has even brought him in, let alone the fact that he is also intent on questioning him.

John interviews Alex, but the evidence against him starts stacking up and Alex's reluctance to talk does not help his case. However, while Luke is searching through Alex's computer for further evidence, he discovers the real reason for his silence: video footage which Alex has filmed as evidence to prove that his wife is having an affair.

DCI Harry Hutchinson is played by Tim Pigott-Smith, Steven Price by Peter Ferdinando, DI John Keenan by Cal Macaninch, Inspector Jenny Black by Kacey Ainsworth, Alex by Simon Lenagan and DS Luke French by Richard Harrington.

    Episode 6

Scared he will be uncovered as a mole for drugs baron Stenga, DCI Harry Hutchinson has found a scapegoat in colleague PC Billy Jackson, as the precinct drama continues. After ordering Billy's arrest for perverting the course of justice, the Holby South PC is due in for further questioning and charging, something his colleagues aren't looking forward to. Desperate to get Billy off the hook, DI John Keenan and DS Luke French send PCs Lucy Slater and Robert Clifton undercover to unearth a witness whom they hope can clear Billy's name.

Elsewhere, a young Asian woman has acid thrown in her face by an unseen attacker; members of the public assume the motive was racism. Harry is keen to ensure heightened tensions in the area aren't inflamed further and instructs Inspector Jenny Black to make it a priority. Routine enquiries lead John and Luke to the victim's white fiancé, confiding that her father is a very strict Muslim who has issued death threats against them both. As John and Luke work hard to build their case against the victim's father, the forensic findings lead them to a less obvious suspect.

With an exciting job opportunity in the CID unit up for grabs, both Neil and Kelly are on tenterhooks. Despite both PCs being in the running for the job, Neil is offered the position. However, his sense of achievement is short-lived when, in the aftermath of the suspected race attack, he grows concerned that his appointment has been a political choice.

Nearing retirement and eager to save his own skin, Harry proposes giving John and DS Luke French watertight evidence on Stenga in return for his own freedom.
