If you need to do science at college there will be conditions attatched to it (most likely) like a minimum of a grade C.
If you fail your science completly you can alwayd redo it at college but I don't think you'll be able to do a seperate A-level science at the same time.
Another option is doing a foundation/acess science course at uni before you start your degree.
What do you want to do at uni?
erm yh i did mean doing it at college aswell
and man i dont think i will get a c lol
and i dont know exactly what i want to do at uni as id love to be a doctor or a vet but im no good at science so i think that will be kinda hard to do so id probably at uni have to do some sort of science or go med school but then again i think you have to have great grades to get in and i wont have them so thats that gone aswell lol

That's the problem with revision websites for those in year 10 this year, the new syllabus isn't on there. I don't think anyone will bother to put it on there until the last exams on the old syllabus have been sat by the year 11's.

Depends what exam boards you're doing your exams with I think.
The whole syllabus won't have changed, it will probably just be certain features.

I looked into being a doctor and you have to get really good grades. A lot of the med schools/unis look to the GCSE science and a lot want at an A/A*, preferably double award. As for A levels you will need to do biology and chemistry to A2 plus another subject, although that doesn't have to be specific or relevent to medicine.
For med school you usually need at least 390 UCAS points. Not sure if you're familiar with UCAS points but the basics of it are, each grade is given a points score, AS points are half of the full A2 points. At A2, A's are worth 120, B's 100, C's 80, D's 60 and E's 40. So at AS an A is worth 60, B 50 etc. So to get 390 points you will need AAA at A2 plus an AS. Some places accept AAB plus a really good AS. Most places don't accept key skills either. It is really hard to get into and I would presume vetrinary surgery is the same.

Yup, thats what I thought, I didn't realise how high the condtions were.

I love the s-cool website, it has everything you need to know and it's simplified so you actually know what it's talking about. It's much better than bitesize, the stuff thats on there is very limited.
Just looking on the bitesize website no,w under science it has the "old" courses for yr 11 and the "new" courses that yr 10 are starting. There's a lot of difference between the new and old courses. The new courses don't have a great deal of content in them and forces isn't included in the AQA which is unusual. The Edexcel course looks good, although it has more content than the AQA. Are they getting rid of some of the exams and doing more coursework?
