    Cool Corrie Spoilers 18th - 23rd March

    Sunday, March 18 2007 at 19:30 GMT on ITV1

The neighbours are out in force as they watch the new arrivals pour into No.6. Finally arriving on the street en mass Jerry, Jodie, Darryl, Mel, Kayleigh and Grandad Morton bring with them van loads of the latest gadgets and plenty of noise to boot.

But by evening their noise levels are already upsetting the neighbours and Gail decides it's time she had a word. Ever the jovial charmer Jerry invites her in to meet his clan but will they get the reception they were hoping for?

Tracy's had enough of Deirdre's constant questioning but when she reveals she's only using Claire as a friend until the trial is over Deirdre's suspicions are further aroused. Paying Claire a visit Deirdre wants to know if she ever actually saw Charlie hit Tracy. Is Deirdre onto her daughter's lies?

After persuading Leanne to put in a good word for her with Liam, Janice is stunned when he agrees to give her her job back at the factory. But unaware of his change of heart Leanne works her best charm offensive on a smug Liam, who conveniently forgets to tell her he's already given Janice another chance.

Elsewhere the street's mums celebrate Mother's Day and Paul tries to buy Ryan off with a flash present after his extreme reaction to his joyriding.

There's a shock in store for Janice when she pays Leanne a visit at work in tonight's first Coronation Street.

When Leanne tells Janice that she's working at a property exhibition at a hotel in town she decides to play the proud step-mum and go and see her in action. On a ruse to deliver her mobile phone Les drives her to the hotel but Janice gets more than she bargained for when she finds Leanne arm in arm with a much older man, who she kisses before taking into a lift. Janice reels as she tries to make sense of what she's just seen.

After negotiating a slightly dodgy discount on his neon sign Jerry prepares for the grand opening of his takeaway joint. Cracking open the cheap bubbly he invites the neighbours over for a glass and even Roy is drawn into the warm hospitality offered by the Mortons.

Steve and Dev agree to join Paul for a round of golf when he reveals his mates have let him down. But he's not the whiz he's led them to believe as Steve takes an early lead.

And Tracy's not happy when she hears Deirdre's been talking to Claire about her 'domestic abuse' claims.

Now sure of what she's seen Janice feels sick as she waits for Leanne to re-appear downstairs at the hotel. Spotting her she marches over demanding to know if she's a prostitute. Outside Leanne tries to deny it as a confused Janice heads back to the street. Back at the flat a furious row ensues as Leanne tries to gives reasons for why she does what she does, claiming she's an escort not a prostitute. Furious Janice throws her out, but is she willing to lose her step daughter all over again?

Peter makes another play for Maria as he plays on the fact that they've both been called as prosecution witnesses for Tracy's trial. Maria tells him she should be keeping her distance but as she enjoys his flirty banter it's not long before she weakens and invites him round to hers for dinner.

Meanwhile Tracy's on edge when she discovers her mum's been talking to Steve, Claire and David about their evidence. She's even less pleased when she catches Peter chatting up her arch enemy Maria.

With the opening party at the takeaway in full swing Jerry works his charms on doubters Roy and Gail. Can he win them over?

And Steve and Dev can't believe what a useless golfer Paul is when he loses the game and his cash in magnificent style.

    Wednesday
In tonight's Coronation Street the strain of the impending trail becomes too much for Deirdre when Tracy attacks Maria in the street.

Over a tense breakfast at the Barlows' Tracy is hyper-sensitive to everything that's being said, especially by her mum. Peter has had as much as he can take and later seeks solace with Maria. After an enjoyable dinner he leaves Maria's flat with a promise to do it again some time but neither had bargained on Tracy spotting them together!

Furious, she lets rip at them both and tries to attack Maria. As Ken tries to pull Tracy off the terrified hairdresser Deirdre struggles to breathe and as she clutches her chest it soon becomes clear that she isn’t well. Has the strain of the trial proved too much for stressed-out Deirdre?

Janice is still reeling over her discovery of Leanne's real profession and is determined to try and put a stop to it. After failing to get a wages advance or borrow money off her mates she decides to take extreme measures to raise some cash for her step-daughter. Will Leanne agree to stop her escorting?

With Jerry's open for business Roy is aware that his profits may be affected but is trying to put a brave face on things and making sure that he stays friends with his rival. Meanwhile the residents loyalties are tested as Jerry's kebabs start to go down a storm.

At the Rovers Derek enjoys a drink with Liz and offers to take her out again. She is tempted but declines so he writes his number down in case she changes her mind.

In tonight's Coronation Street Deirdre stuns Tracy with a decision that could change the whole court case.

Ken is trying to keep a lid on the tensions at the Barlows' but Blanche knows something is going on and is angry with Tracy for making her mum ill. Meanwhile Tracy has still got the bit between her teeth about Peter seeing Maria and gets drunk at Steve's. Little does she know that by the end of the day she will have much more to worry about as Ken is busy persuading Deirdre not to take the stand!

Leanne and Janice are still at loggerheads and Leanne is furious when her mobile phone goes missing. She knows Janice has taken it to try to stop her working but the pair make amends and agree to disagree. Janice knows she can’t stop Leanne doing what she wants but makes her promise to let her now where she is at all times so she can at least keep an eye on her.

Doreen arrives at Rita's with her worldly belongings and a bottle of Vodka! Norris is less than impressed with the amount of stuff she has brought to the flat.

Meanwhile bored Kayleigh Morton finds herself at a loose end and Grandad seizes the opportunity to teach her a thing or two about some of the scams he has pulled over the years. Who will be her fist victim?

Well already sounds like Kayleigh Morton is going to be a bit of a character getting in to trouble with her Grandad showing her how to do it.

Great times ahead on the street.

Really looking forward to the mini golfing storyline with those three wonderful characters involved!

Looking forward to the appearance of the Mortons, espec Jerry (aka Micheal Starke). Sounds like there is more to Grandad Morton than meets the eye.

Also the Leanne Storyline should be a good one, shame we have to have Janice.

And Lots more action still to come!

A Very Sexy and Brilliant Actor

Oohh a round of golf! I don't remember any golf in Corrie since Mike and Alma in the late 80s.
