Grrrr. My English teacher has told us that we are doing our next piece of coursework we are doing as a speaking and listening, but we don't actually have to do it like that, as the exam board states you can do an essay. I think she wants me to fail, my GCSE is already in enough of a mess because of the speaking and listening that you actually have to do.

I'm sure she is doing this in your best interests, maybe she thinks the class as a whole will do better this way. Some people are better at S&L, some are better at essays.

It's a top set, I don't see the difference. Some people who don't bother to even punctuate essays are hardly going to prepare, and no matter how hard I prepare I am always a disaster. I'm never going to get an A.
