Motorcycle insurance company Bennetts has terminated its modelling deal with Danielle.

All trace of Danielle has already been erased from the firm's website.

"Bennetts is strongly opposed to any form of racism and bullying and, in the light of the accusations which have been made against Miss Lloyd, has taken the decision to terminate its arrangements with her with immediate effect," a spokesperson told The Sun.

"Bennetts will no longer use Miss Lloyd for any promotional activities and will remove all promotional pictures and press materials featuring her from its website."

Jade hasn't got a hope in hell in winning this she will be out tomorrow night. and Jo, Danielle and Jack are going to do some serious brown-nosing (sucking up) to shilpa if they are to salvage anything from their time in the house. Even if any of them were intentionally being racist,which I don't think they were. they still made comments and that is enough.

It's disgusting the way Ch4 are now trying to paint a rosy picture. Its blatantly obvious that the producers have had a word and are on a damage limitation exercise. Too little too late i am afraid. The damage has been done and it will be interesting to see the reactions in the days after they come out of the house. Get ready for headlines such as:

But you know what gets me - its headline news last night, in front of people being killed by the storms - its the topic of discussion on Question Time last night. This isn't the most important thing in our lives!

No one bothered with Jodie Marsh when she was suffering bullying, no one helped any other housemates in the past when they were bullied, and no one said anything about Jermaine calling Jackiey white trailer trash, so why is it so different because its Shilpa thats having the same treatment? I do find what has happened disgusting, what should the public do - turn off the blooming programme and stop watching. Doesn't it make it just as bad for us to be watching whats going on? Why doesn't everyone stop watching, rather than tuning in to see the bullying going on?

It was the opening topic on QT last night which made me laugh. There is a underlying problem of racism in this country but it shouldn't have made headline news because three uneducated chavs can't differentiate between right and wrong.

The fact that its so blatant what they are doing against Shilpa is why its been highlighted so quickly. I can assure you that comments most people wouldn't regard as racist are very quickly picked on by ethnic minorities as they are used having sly racist digs thrown at them hence the furore.

But I agree. The best way to get this filth off the television is to press the off button. But in a society brainwashed by celebrity and reality television that isn't going to happen.

Edit: This is the cynic in me, but I believe that the Government have a vested interest in keeping crap like this going. Any one familiar with Chomsky will know one of his main arguments is crap like this keeps people away from politics and current affairs, effectively brainwashing the people and the government being able to get away with most things. Can you imagine if all the young people following BB were interested in politics and taxes?
