    spoilers 12th -17th

    Sunday, November 12
Danny is full of anticipation for today’s Sunday lunch but gets more disappointed when it looks like Jamie isn’t going to show up for the ‘family’ meal. Frankie is starting to feel a sense of relief but at the last minute Jamie rolls up and startles Frankie with a small public kiss. Danny is unaware of the significance of the kiss and carries with being the host. He nips to the gents and tells Jamie to get Frankie to relax, and when he returns he makes a big speech about how he has hurt them both and wants to start a new life. He then surprises Frankie with Champagne and a proposal of marriage. Does Frankie accept, and what is Jamie’s reaction to his father’s sudden move?

As Bill reluctantly says his goodbyes in the Rovers, Audrey gives him a kiss in front of all the drinkers. Bev is outraged at such a public display of affection and both the Websters and the Platts are forced to question what really went on the night before.

And over in number six, Tracy spots Claire putting her washing out and runs out to join her. Claire is intimidated by Tracy’s sudden interest in her. Claire then comments to Gail about Tracy’s strange behaviour and the pair of them wonder just what is going on behind closed doors.

    Monday, November 13
Steve decides to plan a party that night to toast him buying the pub and also to celebrate Danny and Frankie’s engagement. He tells a shocked Bev that she has to move out of the Rovers as Michelle and Ryan are moving in, and promises free drinks to all the locals in a bid for them to join him in the party. Steve delights taking down Fred’s name plate and putting up the Macdonald one in its place. But as the party gets underway it’s clear Steve has a lot to learn as Liz slates him for the offer of free booze and giving Michelle a room at the pub. Will Bev give up her home without a fight?

The gossip soon spreads about Danny and Frankie’s engagement and while Liam bristles, it’s clear that Jamie has taken the news worst. He confides in Sean that he still thinks he and Frankie are for keeps and will have to raise his game if he is to win her from his father. Sean isn’t convinced and urges his friend to leave her alone.

The factory girls rib Hayley about her working with ex-cons, but Hayley is more concerned that Becky has materialised at Roy’s Rolls to travel to the class with her. She reluctantly agrees but unbeknownst to her she has been spotted by a gutted Kelly.

    Monday, November 13
As Steve doubts his night could get any worse after slaps from both Liz and from Eileen, his eyes suddenly fall on Vernon who has arrived unannounced with a bunch of wilting flowers and a balloon that reads ’I luv Liz.’ Liz wastes no time in telling her ex where he can shove them, but he attempts to win her round by telling her that something inside him died when she chucked him out and that he has even been forced to quit the band because without her he has no rhythm! Although Liz does not trust him, she quite enjoys this public display of affection after a while and by the end of they night they are back together. Will love last for Liz?

As Danny begins to talk weddings in the Rovers, it’s too much for Jamie who follows Frankie into the toilets and tries to kiss her. They are disturbed by Sarah who has no idea what’s just been going on and congratulates her on the engagement. Jamie then leaves the pub sharply followed by an irate Sean who is sick of seeing Jamie playing twisted games with his father. Sean gives Jamie some home truths and the two men nearly fight over Sean's opinions. They later make friends but Jamie finally admits he cannot carry on like this anymore, and has no choice but to leave Weatherfield for good.

Elsewhere, at the literacy classes, Becky starts a fight and Hayley is forced to play peacemaker. She tells her to go outside to cool down, and then admits to Becky that she thinks it’s good that she is trying to better herself with the classes, and urges her to continue improving her life. Meanwhile, back at work, a hurt Kelly tells Hayley to keep Becky away from Weatherfield or else. Will Hayley avoid Becky for the sake of her friendship with Kelly?

    Wednesday, November 15
Roy promises Hayley that he will have a think about letting Becky work at the café, but Hayley is upset when she goes to work and feels the wrath of the factory girls who are all aware of her friendship with troublesome Becky. Roy tells Becky about the hard time poor Hayley is having, so Becky marches into Underworld and gives the workers a piece of her mind. She offers Kelly a curt apology which Hayley is impressed by, so she gives her job at the café. But how will Roy react to this news?

As Danny fantasies about the idea of a Spanish wedding, he tells Frankie he is going to cook dinner for her and Jamie on Friday. Jamie is forced to agree but its clear he doesn’t have any intentions of going and still plans to leave the Street for good. She goes to the house and offers a personal invitation to Jamie for the dinner who returns it by kissing her passionately again. Will this stop Jamie from moving back to Chingford?

And over in the Rovers Return, Steve is finding it hard hiding his contempt for Vernon who has already got his feet firmly under the table. Liz admits to her son that she loves him and suggests that he take on the job of pot man. So after pulling rank over Michelle he reluctantly lets Liz have his way – this time.

    Friday, November 17
Jamie is still determined to go, but Frankie can’t find Jamie, so Sean is forced to tell her that he is planning to leave Weatherfield to start a new life. Frankie eventually finds him in the house and is furious that he was planning to leave without even saying goodbye. Jamie is emotional and tells the love of his life that he couldn’t face telling her. This melts Frankie’s heart and she pleads with him not to go. As Jamie kisses her passionately, one thing leads to another and they end up in the bedroom. But they are suddenly interrupted by a knock at the door. Will Danny catch his son and his fiancée together?

Over in the café, Roy tells Hayley that he will tell Becky that she is on a probationary period and when she walks into work he is quick to tell her the strict rules over smoking in the workplace. Then it’s not long before Becky’s non stop chewing of gum and plate dropping gets on Roy’s nerves and he warns her about her clumsy behaviour.

It is resident bad boy Charlie’s birthday, and Tracy makes a complete fuss of him. She has forgotten to get him a cake, but kind Claire makes one for Tracy whilst Charlie is at work. During chit chat she deliberately clams up when Claire probes her about their ‘happy’ relationship and after telling Charlie to stay at the pub she lets Claire think he has let her down. Why would Tracy act in such a duplicitous manner?

Frankie panics as she knows that Danny has a key, and sure enough he lets himself in and calls upstairs for Jamie. Jamie runs downstairs to greet his dad but pretends he has no idea where Frankie is and Danny seems to buy this lie.

Later on, at Danny’s flat, the three of them have to endure a frosty evening’s meal and Jamie says he can’t live a lie anymore and they must tell Danny the truth about their love. Frankie begs him not to and although she is completely torn between father and son, she decides that Jamie is the one for her and that she will admit all to Danny tomorrow! Will Frankie stick to her guns?

Roy discovers the takings are up £5 which means that Tyrone must have been telling the truth after all. Becky suggests that Roy pockets the cash but Roy takes her to task and forces her to hand the money back to Tyrone in front of all the factory girls.

And elsewhere, Claire and Ashley are starting to enjoy their family life again and decide on a date to christen their son. Although they are not overly keen on Bev staying, she is good with Freddy and tries to help out as much as possible.

God what an amazing week! I'm loving what's going on with the Danny/Frankie/Jamie scenario, and the Tracy stuff, wow!

Can't wait for Violet to announce she's pregnant, another bombshell to add to the mix! Wonder when that's going to happen. I assume that's the reason why Jamie can't leave Weatherfield? Or do you think Frankie just changes her mind back to Danny? So amazing!
