    Exclamation Emmerdale Spoilers 2nd - 6th February 2026

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...hedule-change/

Bad news, soap fans ? Coronation Street and Emmerdale are set to face another schedule change. The ITV shows have been taken off air occasionally in recent times due to sports fixtures.

It looks like that will be the case once again next month, with the week starting 2 February seeing both soaps off air for 2 nights. Firstly, the episodes on Tuesday (3 February) will not be shown then due to the Carabao Cup match between Arsenal and Chelsea from 7.30pm on ITV1.

Thursday's (5 February) episodes will also be off air due to a Six Nations match between France and Ireland from 7.20pm on ITV1.

Unfortunately, Corrie and Emmerdale won't be doubling up on other nights to make up for the loss, disrupting the new 'power hour' format.

The new schedule kicked off this month, with both ITV shows airing for half an hour each between 8pm and 9pm, five nights per week. This has meant that each soap has lost 30 minutes per week as they shift from their past six-episode transmission format.

Opening up about the reasons for the change, ITV's Managing Director of Media and Entertainment Kevin Lygo explained that the decision is due to changing habits.

Calling it "viewer-led", he said they "want to present their favourite soap to them in the most digestible way".

"In a world where there is so much competition for viewers' time and attention, and viewing habits continue to change, we believe this is the right amount of episodes that fans can fit into their viewing schedule, to keep up to date with the shows," he added.

"Research insights also show us that soap viewers are increasingly looking to the soaps for their pacey storytelling. Streaming-friendly, 30-minute episodes better provide the opportunity to meet viewer expectations for storyline pace, pay-off and resolution."

Emmerdale favourite Moira Dingle faces a future behind bars next week, after she's charged with double murder. Though she insists she's being framed by sly Celia Daniels, Moira fails to convince the cops of her innocence.

The worrying turn of events plays out as a gruesome discovery is made at Butler's Farm that changes everything. Is there anything Moira can do to save herself?

"Two bodies are found buried on Moira's property ? and one of them is Celia's," our Emmerdale insider explains.

"This makes Moira look guilty as sin, and undermines her claims that she's being set up. With the evidence mounting against her, it looks increasingly likely that Moira could be going to prison for a very long time?"

The Dingles' devastation begins when police turn up at Butler's. Already under investigation for human trafficking, Moira thinks the authorities have just come to ask more questions, only to learn there have been some significant developments.

Both Cain and Moira are stunned when they're arrested in front of the kids. Dragged down to the station to be questioned separately about the unearthed corpses, the couple quickly realise the seriousness of the situation.

Thankfully for Cain, he's soon released without charge ? but Moira faces a much tougher time. Repeating her defence that Celia set her up, Moira falls apart when DS Walsh reveals that the evil crime boss was one of the deceased to be dug up.

This ? along with the incriminating paperwork found planted by Robert Sugden a few weeks back ? puts Moira in a precarious position. Panic sets in, but more evidence is about to come to light.

Thankfully, Caleb Miligan has a hot-shot solicitor on the case to resolve this misunderstanding. However, the legal eagle has bad news that really won't help matters.

The other body ? who viewers know is the tragic Anya, one of Celia's forced workers ? was wrapped in a blanket identified as belonging to Moira. Caleb reveals this to Cain, who explodes in frustrated rage and refuses to leave the police station without his wife ? but it doesn't look as if she'll be allowed home any time soon?

"DS Walsh delivers the next blow to Moira," our spy continues. "She confirms Moira's DNA was found on the blanket Anya was wrapped in. It's pretty damning ? how is Moira going to talk her way out of this now?"

The proof is stacking up, and poor Moira's fate appears to be sealed. Desperate to support his other half, Cain finally sees her being led away ? but she's being carted off to prison having been formally charged with murdering Celia and Anya.

Cain and the reeling clan concoct a plan to clear Moira's name, but it's clear that's going to be easier said than done?

Emmerdale's Graham Foster sends shockwaves through the village next week, when he makes his first public appearance since coming back from the dead. After reacquainting himself with Home Farm, Graham returns to The Woolpack after six years presumed murdered.

How will the villagers react to sharing their pub with a ghost? We can expect more than a few shocked faces?

"Graham's 'murder' sent the village into a tailspin all those years ago," our Emmerdale source reminds us. "Innocent suspects were grilled and Marlon was even falsely imprisoned.

"No-one can believe Graham is alive after everything they went through??

It's finally time for his extraordinary return to become public knowledge, as Joe Tate and Graham decide to seize the moment before rumours spread through the village.

By this point, Rhona Goskirk and Kim Tate are among those who already know their enigmatic ex is back on the scene, but his surprise appearance at Home Farm leaves Gabby Thomas and Lydia Dingle gasping with horror when they bump into him.

Tired of lurking in the shadows and deciding to set the record straight before speculation and gossip run riot, Graham enters The Woolpack and leaves its punters speechless.

Will his old foes come to terms with his survival, or will they be angry that his fake murder put them all through hell?

"Billy actually found Graham's corpse," points out our spy. "But now he's face-to-face with the man he thought had died.

"Graham had made several enemies by the time he departed Emmerdale, and now all eyes are on him to explain his miraculous recovery."

After his dramatic pretend death, it's no wonder even those closest to him are struggling to trust his word. Not only has wily Graham managed to lie low for six years, but his time away from the village ? and why he was transporting tied-up Jodie Ramsey ? remains a murky mystery?

The pub is rife with speculation after Graham's return, with some locals predicting he might be back in Emmerdale for revenge, or even to win back Rhona's heart.

Will Graham be able to put the past behind him? Could he cross paths with new enemies, or will old grievances rear their head?

Emmerdale revisits Anya's tragic death storyline tonight ? as Ruby Miligan uncovers the first major clues to her friend's heartbreaking fate. The drama plays out after Ruby and her husband Caleb unexpectedly stumble across Bear Wolf, who knows that Anya sadly lost her life on Celia Daniels' farm.

Bear went AWOL last night, thwarting his son Paddy's attempts to keep him away from prying eyes. Paddy and local teenager Dylan Penders are desperately hoping to conceal Bear's guilt in the Ray Walters murder case, but it's becoming increasingly difficult.

In Tuesday's episode, Ruby and Caleb are out for a countryside walk when they cross paths with a confused Bear.

The couple immediately alert Paddy and predict that he'll be thrilled, not realising that he already knows his father is still alive. Much to Paddy's concern, they've also called the police?

While Ruby keeps Bear talking, she's surprised when he mentions that he's been looking for someone called Anya. As it's not a common name, Ruby wonders whether this could be the same young woman she welcomed into her home late last year.

Bear has been trying to find the spot where Anya was buried on Moira Dingle's land, which he'd marked with a ribbon. However, when Ruby starts asking too many questions, he tries to backtrack by sticking to the cover story that Paddy and Dylan previously drummed into him.

"I've been on a farm in Oldham," Bear claims.

When Ruby asks if Anya was there, Bear replies: "I don't know. I can't find Anya's ribbon."

Later, back at the depot, Ruby starts to piece things together in a worried chat with Caleb.

"We found Anya in the back of one of your vans," Ruby recalls. "And we found Ray in the back of one of your vans. Weird.

"Okay, what about this? The van Anya turned up in didn't come directly from abroad. There was a pick-up in Leeds. If she was already here, then why sneak into a van to go a few miles down the road, unless she was hiding or running away?"

Pointing out the key questions, Ruby adds: "Who was she hiding from ? and where is she now?"

Advance spoilers have already revealed that Anya's body will indeed be found in the coming days.

This is bad news for Moira, as evil Celia took drastic steps to frame her for Anya's death last year. Anya's body was wrapped in a blanket that Moira had set aside for a charity donation, which links her to the crime.

Viewers saw Anya's final scenes in November, as she became seriously ill during her time as a forced worker on Celia's farm. As Celia and her son Ray failed to get her medical help in time, Anya passed away and her body was buried on Moira's land.
