Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs furiously confronts Carl Webster next week, determined to force a confession out of the crooked conman for the hit and run which left him grievously injured. Will Carl crumble under the pressure by revealing what really happened that day?

Fresh out of the shower, Carl emerges from the bathroom to find vengeful Tyrone lying in wait. When he sees Carl, Tyrone springs into action by wielding his crutch and forcefully pinning him against the wall with it.

"Tyrone is rightly raging that Carl is apparently behind the car accident that left him temporarily paralysed, as the injury totally changed his life," our Corrie spy reveals.

"Not only did the accident put a huge strain on his and Fiz's rocky marriage, but it also took him months to learn how to walk again. To think that Carl has got off scot free for the crime is too much for Ty to bear, so he takes the law into his own hands."

As Tyrone demands to hear the entire truth from helpless Carl, will Carl confess to being the one behind the hit and run? Or will he use his powers of manipulation to pull the wool over yet another Weatherfield resident's eyes?

Tyrone's anger toward Carl is triggered by his best friend Kevin Webster's own emotions earlier in the week, as Kevin struggles to cope with the fact that his big sister Debbie could be facing prison time.

Returning home, mournful Kev stares longingly at an old photo of him and Debbie. As his grief for happier times gone by overwhelms him, he flies into a fit of rage and trashes the living room.

"Tyrone follows Kevin into the house and can't believe what he's seeing," our Corrie source continues. "Months of mistreatment from Abi and Carl have taken their toll on Kevin, and the thought of his supportive sister being ripped away from him, when she's already struggling with dementia, is too much for him.

"He tearfully tells Tyrone that he's at the end of his tether, so Ty thinks that he's doing his mate a favour by attacking Carl?"

Later in the pub, Tyrone recounts his violent confrontation with Carl to Fiz and Kevin. But has he got the guilty confession out of twisted Carl that he needs to get criminal justice for his terrible ordeal?

When Leanne calls round and suggests to Maggie that she'd like to buy her out of the pub, Eva acts shocked. Maggie rounds on Eva and accuses her of plotting with Leanne behind her back.

On the street, Megan explains to Will that she's going away for a while. Clearly worried, Will enquires if she's ill. What will she say?

Meanwhile, David is at the hospital, leaving a tired Shona at home. Jodie wastes no time in tackling Shona about their past. She rounds on Shona for abandoning her with their awful parents and that she never cared about her. How will Shona respond?

Elsewhere, as Roy sets about writing a letter to Alice, Nina teases him and suggests he could take their relationship to the next level. Roy takes offence and storms out.

Also today, at Underworld, Betsy tells Carla that they were once a family and could be again, as both she and her mum still love her very much.

Eva and Maggie trade insults over the sale of Maggie's share of the pub. Ben heads off to deal with the beer delivery, but he clutches his chest in pain. Leanne offers Maggie ?160k for her share of the pub, but Maggie turns her down and things take a turn when Leanne's bag wraps around a bar stool causing Maggie to fall.

Eva notices that Ben looks pale and sweaty. When Ben admits that he's been suffering heart palpitations, Eva calls an ambulance.

A worried Will is already at A&E with Megan who is feeling unwell. Are they about to be rumbled?

Meanwhile, Kevin returns home and stares morosely at a photo of him and Debbie in happier times. His anger bubbling over, Kevin trashes the living room. Having followed him in, Tyrone watches in shock. Kevin confides in Tyrone that he's at the end of his tether.

Elsewhere, in the caf?, Roy explains to Lisa that it's the anniversary of Hayley's death and he's going to visit the boating lake where he scattered her ashes. Roy also urges Carla to patch things up with Lisa as Hayley would want her to be happy. Carla points out that Hayley would want him to be happy too.

Also today, No.8, Jodie helps Lily with her self portrait and drips poison into her ear about Shona.

Calling at the Bistro to book a client lunch, Carla is surprised to be handed a letter by Ryan inviting her to lunch at the Bistro with Lisa.

Sitting down for lunch, Carla starts to text Lisa but the clients say that they don't allow phones at the table. Carla switches hers off. How will Lisa react to being ghosted?

Clearly drunk, Lisa barges her way into the hotel restaurant and lambasts Carla for standing her up. How will Carla react?

Meanwhile, in the Street Cars flat, Carl comes out of the bathroom and is shocked to find Tyrone waiting for him and wielding his crutch. Tyrone pins him against the wall and demands the truth. In The Rovers, Tyrone tells Fiz and Kevin about his confrontation with Carl.

Elsewhere, Shona takes Jodie to the caf? for breakfast, but when Kit enters she's thrown into panic and does a runner. At No.8, Shona quizzes Jodie, intrigued as to how she knows Kit.

Also today, when Maggie and Eva bicker over Ben's breakfast, Ben despairs. Eva and Maggie agree that for the sake of Ben's health, they need to call a truce.

Finally, as Roy and Nina discuss Alice's authenticity and the fact that she's unlikely to be a catfisher, Roy receives a text from her.

Shona asks Kit how he knows Jodie. Kit explains how he met her in the woods on the night of the crash - her wrists were bound, she appeared to be running away from someone and was clearly terrified. Shona's shocked.

Jodie goes to a domestic violence support group at the community centre. Jodie listens as a woman called Ellie describes the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of her partner.

Shona and David get a call from Bethany saying Jodie is in the house having a meltdown. What is going on? Shona listens as Jodie explains.

Meanwhile, outside the school, Will implores Megan to dump Daniel as he finds it so hard seeing them together. Megan assures him that she'll do what she can.

Over dinner in the Bistro, Daniel apologises to Megan for coming on too strong but tells her that he can't help the way he feels about her. When Daniel suggests she should report Will to Mrs Crawshaw for harassment, Megan quickly changes the subject.

Elsewhere, a hungover Lisa watches as Carla makes breakfast and admits she remembers very little about the previous day.

At the athletics meet, another runner called Lee seeks out Will and reminds him they used to race against each other in Hull. When Will is distracted Lee calls Megan, but what does he want?

After the race, Will takes Lee back to the pub with him, Megan asks Lee to meet her in the ginnel. What does she want to say?

Meanwhile, a tearful Sally calls at No.6 with some post for Carla and proceeds to pour out her marriage woes to Lisa. An exasperated Carla surreptitiously calls Tim and orders him to come and fetch his wife.

Elsewhere, Jodie offers to help out at the cafe whilst Nina goes to the wholesalers. She flirts with Carl, prompting Abi to warn her off.

At the hospital, Shona confides in David that she's tempted to try and track down her dad to find out what really went on with Jodie.
