Emmerdale's April Windsor could be signing her own death warrant next week as she discovers the shocking truth about Bear Wolf's forced labour ordeal. When the evil Celia Daniels decides that April knows too much, she orders her son Ray Walters to deal with the situation by killing the unpredictable teenager.

Upcoming scenes see April drawn into Bear's storyline for the first time, as her boyfriend Dylan Penders tells her what's really been happening on Celia's farm.

Dylan's revelation comes just as he and April appear destined to part ways. April prepares to leave the village with Celia and Ray when they move their criminal operation to Wrexham, still feeling trapped as they're using Callum's supposed "murder" as leverage over her.

Meanwhile, Dylan has a chance to escape as Mandy Dingle invites him to come to Ireland with her. But will this newfound focus on Bear's welfare change the priorities for both teenagers?

"April and Dylan become united once again," our Emmerdale source shares. "They're determined that they have to free Bear and find a way out of their own nightmare too.

"Wasting no time, April sneaks her way into Celia's farm and is totally shocked when she sees the state of Bear. She begs him to leave with her while he has the chance, but he refuses point blank as he doesn't want to turn against Ray?"

Later, when Celia returns to the farm, she's baffled to spot April fleeing into the distance. It's clear that something is seriously wrong, so she orders Ray to kill April to stop her from bringing down their entire operation. In the meantime, she'll take care of Bear...

The next day, Ray faces a grim task as Celia wants him to lure April to her death.

Before this fateful moment, Ray catches up with his girlfriend Laurel Thomas and breaks the bad news that he'll be leaving the village soon. Laurel is gutted and reiterates that she wants to give their relationship a proper chance, which leaves Ray torn over his future.

Shortly afterwards, Ray informs April that they're going off on a mission to bury some evidence. As they dig a hole together, April reaches a horrifying realisation over what's really happening?

"April's frozen in fear as she suddenly realises that this hole is planned as a grave for her," our insider adds. "She begs Ray to change his mind and let her go, but will he show any mercy?"

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emm...ry-kiss-twist/

Emmerdale's Jai Sharma discovers the outrageous truth about Kerry Wyatt's wedding next week, and wastes no time before leaning in for a kiss. Does Kerry feel the same way about Jai, or is he getting carried away with himself?

Kerry has just shocked the villagers by tying the knot with unlikely partner Eric Pollard, much to the dismay of Jai after his own recent romantic connection with Kerry. Viewers know that Kerry's nuptials were a financial scam, as she wanted to help Eric protect his assets and provide as much as possible for his grandson Jacob Gallagher.

Next week, Kerry ponders an unexpected consequence of her wedding. She's noticed that Jai is visibly upset over her decision, even though they'd already reached an agreement not to take their recent fling any further.

Deciding to put Jai in the picture, Kerry brazenly admits to him that her wedding to Eric was purely a financial arrangement.

Jai couldn't be happier as Kerry explains her motives in detail, clarifying that Eric wants to bend the rules so that Jacob's inheritance isn't eroded by tax payouts.

The smug businessman assumes that Kerry is telling him everything because she has feelings for him, so he leans in for a kiss. But will things really go as Jai hopes?

"I don't think Kerry realised how much Jai did care about her," Laura Norton, who plays her, recently explained. "She knew she just didn't have the time and space for that relationship at that moment.

"Then all of this stuff came up with Eric and she just felt like it definitely wasn't the right thing. But then she starts to see how much Jai is wounded by the fact that she's now with Eric. Jai's a bit jealous and she's just like: 'Why?' And then she confesses everything to him?"

She added: "Kerry and Jai have hated each other for years. She worked under him at the factory and they were always bickering. They come from two completely different worlds and now she works up at the depot and it is the same sort of dynamic.

"There was this moment when they both got to look at each other in a different way. It was a massive surprise to both of them and for the fans. I had quite a lot of messages on social media with people just saying: 'I don't know why, but that really works'.

"Kerry brings out a nice side of Jai. I think that's why he's attracted to her, as he's been very doom and gloom and everything she does is a joke. Jai had stuff going on with his son, so Kerry genuinely tried to help and suggested things to him. I think it changed his attitude towards her..

"As to what will happen in the future, watch this space. Who knows? But it did surprisingly work well."

Emmerdale's Sarah Sugden and Jacob Gallagher get their second chance at a dream wedding day next week, but Charity Dingle's shocking baby secret threatens to ruin everything. The young couple were recently left disappointed after their first attempt was derailed by Eric Pollard and Kerry Wyatt's surprise nuptials, but they're not giving up just yet.

Looking out for her granddaughter, Charity hatches a plan for Eric to use his old contacts at the council to allow Sarah and Jacob to get married as soon as possible. Before long, Sarah and Jacob are gobsmacked as Charity presents them with a surprise New Year's Day wedding.

Once again, though, the big day could run into trouble! Vanessa Woodfield is furious after Charity mistakenly accuses her of writing John Sugden's tell-all note to Mackenzie Boyd, which tried to expose the truth about the baby's paternity.

With Vanessa now hoping the whole scandal blows up in Charity's face, will she turn spiteful by ruining the wedding?

Here, Katie Hill ? who plays Sarah ? previews the big week in store?

Hi Katie! Are Sarah and Jacob feeling frustrated over how chaotic their wedding planning has become?

"Well, they have been trying to make sure all the important people to them are available, but they're having some difficulty with doing this as no-one is prioritising them right now. They originally set it up as a baby gender reveal party, even though it was actually their wedding.

"Eric and Charity didn't want to attend when they thought it was just a party. That definitely made Sarah feel upset, as these two are the most important people to Sarah and Jacob.

"I don't think Sarah has been questioning Charity too much, as she came up with the excuse of having a work meeting, but Sarah was definitely disheartened to hear she couldn't or wouldn't change her plans."

Emmerdale airs terrifying scenes next week as evil John Sugden plans to murder his brother Robert with a bomb. Back in the village and determined to take the ultimate revenge, John waits for the right moment to detonate an explosive device.

John has returned to the village for one last scheme, with Oliver Farnworth reprising the role just in time for the highly-anticipated Corriedale special on 5 January. In the coming days, as we await the dramatic crossover, there'll be plenty of sinister reminders of what John is capable of?

In next week's scenes, John continues to hold Kev Townsend captive in an abandoned room ? seeing him as a key part of the masterplan. John hopes he can unleash his revenge on Robert and then frame the notoriously obsessive Kev for everything.

Sadly for John, his scheming comes at a cost ? he has to deal with Kev's constant talking!

"John's frustrated when Kev won't keep quiet," our Emmerdale source explains. "Kev's always had a divisive personality, so you either love or hate his quirky ways. John's definitely in the latter camp?"

Meanwhile, Robert's troubled when he spots his partner Aaron Dingle having a terrifying nightmare about Kev following the criminal's recent return to the village.

Robert feels guilty that Kev is still having such a negative impact on the people he loves. Fearing that the village isn't safe anymore, Robert begins making plans to get his sister Victoria and young nephew Harry out of harm's way.

"Robert has the right idea for the wrong reasons," our insider continues. "John is the one lurking around the village and clearly poses a threat to everyone.

"At one point, John even corners Harry when the young lad kicks a football into the woods. Harry's delighted to see his uncle again ? and John promises they can all be together again soon."

Robert doesn't have a place in John's "picture-perfect" vision for the future, though. Back in the abandoned room, John openly boasts to Kev about how he plans to blow Robert up with a bomb and let Kev take the blame.

Kev desperately tries to be the voice of reason for once, pointing out that innocent lives could be lost if John makes such a risky move to kill Robert. Unfortunately, John just isn't listening?

"John can't be deterred from his view that he's making a righteous move for the good of the Sugdens," our spy warns.

"In the end, he plants the explosive device underneath Robert's car and tells Kev that he's waiting for the right moment to detonate it. Will John finish off Robert for good?"
