    Exclamation Corrie Spoilers 22nd - 26th December 2025

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cor...2025-schedule/

Christmas is getting closer ? and now's your chance to plan your soap viewing in advance. ITV has released its full festive schedules today, so we've unpacked all of the details you need on Coronation Street and Emmerdale timings.

Both ITV soaps are airing huge storylines over the Yuletide season. Returning character Eva Price has been tipped as one to watch on Corrie, as the Driscoll family's first Christmas together on the cobbles turns into a dramatic affair, while Becky Swain's scheming escalates and there's even a video cameo from Gail Platt.

Meanwhile, Kim Tate, April Windsor and villainous Ray Walters are among those in the spotlight on Emmerdale. Both soaps are also building up to the epic Corriedale crossover episode, which airs in January, so you won't want to miss a moment...

ITV's festive schedules have confirmed that Emmerdale and Coronation Street both get hour-long Christmas Day episodes this year, airing at 6.15pm and 7.15pm respectively.

This is good news for Emmerdale fans, as the show had been cut back to 30 minutes on Christmas Day in 2023 and 2024. Corrie also aired a shorter 30-minute Christmas episode in 2023, but was back to an hour last year for Gail's exit.

Additionally, both soaps are airing on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, putting them right at the heart of the festive schedules.

The full rundown for the festive fortnight follows below:

    Monday 22 December
    7.30pm: Emmerdale (30 mins)

    8.00pm: Coronation Street (60 mins)

    Tuesday 23 December
7.00pm: Emmerdale (30 mins) ? earlier slot due to ITV football coverage

Wednesday 24 December ? Christmas Eve
    6.55pm: Emmerdale (30 mins)

    8.40pm: Coronation Street (30 mins)

Thursday 25 December ? Christmas Day
    6.15pm: Emmerdale (60 mins)

    7.15pm: Coronation Street (60 mins)

Friday 26 December ? Boxing Day
    6.30pm: Emmerdale (30 mins)

    7.00pm: Coronation Street (30 mins)

It isn't really Christmas without a big soap showdown, and this year's Coronation Street will be no exception. With the Rovers Return under the management of the Driscoll family, matriarch Maggie will be using her newfound power to cause a lot of drama on the big day.

But as multiple Weatherfield residents attend Christmas dinner at the pub, who will fall victim to her "mean" scheme?

Viewers already know that Maggie and her daughter-in-law Eva don't exactly see eye-to-eye, with the pair repeatedly clashing over both family matters and business ideas. This December, Maggie takes things up a notch, making it her mission to remove Eva from the family.

The landlady begins to spiral when her young daughter Susie shares her wish of having another sibling ? and her panic doesn't go unnoticed by Maggie. The meddlesome mother-in-law discovers a hidden letter and spots exes Eva and Adam having a heart-to-heart, causing her suspicions to grow.

She decides to invite Adam and his current girlfriend Alya to The Rovers for Christmas dinner, hoping to stir up some trouble. But Maggie gets more than she bargains for when she extends the invite to new couple Daniel and Megan, not realising that Megan has been grooming her grandson Will.

As expected, the dinner is filled with shocking revelations, furious confrontations and even a physical altercation, which leaves one Weatherfield resident unconscious in the ginnel. Will Maggie regret her actions or will her scheme have the desired effect?

Speaking about being at the centre of the drama this festive period, Pauline McLynn (who plays Maggie) said: "It'll be just the strangest, most wonderful, and really surreal thing, because it's one of the traditions of Christmas television."

"I happen to know that the family will behave as badly as any other family at Christmas. We have to forgive a lot, I think, with families when it comes to Christmas, because somebody always dirties their bib, don't they?"

The actor addressed her character's antics, which she described as "particularly mean", but shared that it won't just be Eva on the receiving end of her vitriol.

"Maggie behaves particularly badly, I will have to say. She's particularly mean to a range of people ? it's not just one. It's a kind of equal opportunity insulting of everyone," she explained. "And she's invited half the street around, so there's plenty of people there to choose from to insult or to just let be witness to the insulting of other people."

Coronation Street's Evelyn Plummer is given the fright of her life this Boxing Day, when she comes across a fellow cobbles resident fighting for their life. While her neighbours deal with the catastrophic fallout from Christmas, following a massive showdown between Maggie Driscoll and Eva Price in the pub, Evelyn takes a stroll down the ginnel behind The Rovers while walking Freddie.

And it's right there that Evelyn stumbles across a victim of a monstrous attack. Can she rescue the helpless figure ? or is she too late?

"It's a big shock!" exclaims Cath Tyldesley, who plays Rovers landlady Eva. "Christmas is supposed to be that time where seemingly everyone is supposed to get on, you hang out with friends and family, and everything's supposed to be lovely, but it's not like that in Weatherfield on Christmas Day."

The festive fortnight begins with drama kicking off in The Rovers, as Eva feels unsettled by her daughter Susie's request for a sibling. Afterwards, Eva tearfully confides in Adam Barlow that she's been keeping a secret from Ben, which leads her ex to offer his reassurance.

Other than this particular thing, Eva doesn't hide anything from Ben," Cath assures us. "She's always been super honest, but this was the one thing that she's found really difficult.

"In a way, she has absolutely done it to protect Ben from feeling hurt. She's had to live with a lot of hurt for a while now, and that all comes out."

On Christmas Eve, Adam suggests that Eva should put her feelings down on paper. Then Alya Nazir turns up, which triggers Adam to hand Eva a present for her to hide.

Maggie spots the exchange, then rifles through Eva's handbag to try to catch her out. Maggie is let down to find a necklace engraved for Alya, but when she returns it, she finds Eva's note?

The next day, Maggie is disgusted to see Ben and Eva merrily swap gifts.

Later, Eva discovers that her letter has vanished, which she explains to Adam. After hearing the news, Adam takes Eva's hand, but Ben spies them from afar.

Next, the Driscolls and their guests sit down to eat, while Maggie casts daggers at Eva ? then dishes out a gift that stuns Ben!

"Things very quickly backfire," grimaces Catherine. "What Eva probably should have done is burn the letter after writing it!"

Is Ben and Eva's relationship done for? And will the mystery attack victim pull through ? or will 2026 begin with tragedy in Weatherfield?
