Emmerdale villain Celia Daniels selects Dylan Penders to follow in Ray Walters' footsteps next week, as she reveals that she wants him to manage her workers. Will Dylan be forced to go along with her sick machinations?
In worrying scenes, Celia orchestrates a plan to prove for certain that Dylan is the right fit for the job. In doing this, Celia gatecrashes his birthday celebrations and brings him to her farm.
There, Celia shows Dylan that she has tied up Robbie, a worker who she believes has snitched on her, then presents the teenager with a baseball bat and orders him to make Robbie pay for his actions. Will poor Dylan have no choice but to hurt the innocent man?
"Celia has such a fondness for Dylan because he reminds her of Ray," remarks Jaye Griffiths, who plays the schemer. "She wants to give him a managerial role and for him to be her new Ray. She wants him to step up."
"Celia wants Dylan to prove he's loyal by meting out the consequences," Jaye continues. "If you go against Celia, there are consequences. She wants Dylan to administer the consequences for Robbie, but Dylan won't.
"Celia is secretly thrilled, because it means he's not a heavy, he's not the muscle, he's not the physical. It shows that his leanings are for the management, and that's why she wants to put him in charge of the workers."
With Dylan unable to inflict pain on Robbie, Celia brings in Mick to do the dirty work while ushering the young lad away.
On her own with Dylan, Celia then explains that she wants him to take charge of her victims. Horrified, Dylan realises that he doesn't truly have a say in the matter, but not only that ? he starts to clock that he could be a victim of exploitation himself?
Later, Dylan checks in on Robbie, who is sporting serious cuts and bruises. Given just how badly Robbie has been injured, could his fate be enough to convince Dylan to stay on Celia's good side?
"Celia is fiercely loyal,? notes Jaye. ?Were Dylan to become part of her managerial team, she would protect him at all costs, as she does with Ray?"
Will Dylan protect himself and join the upper echelons of Celia's crime syndicate? Or will he refuse to be dragged deeper into her wicked world?

Emmerdale's April Windsor finally shares her dark secrets with her dad Marlon Dingle and stepmum Rhona Goskirk next week *? before Celia Daniels turns up at their family home, hellbent on revenge. The drama plays out as Marlon intercepts April when she prepares to complete another job for Ray Walters.
Seeing no choice but to follow Ray's orders, April packs her bags and heads for the bus stop. However, Marlon has other ideas?
Next week's episodes see Ray pile pressure on April again, insisting that she needs to carry out another illegal task for him. Still under Ray's thumb, April agrees and prepares to leave the village.
Meanwhile, when Marlon asks birthday boy Dylan Penders why he hasn't turned up to his own party, the troubled teenager subtly urges Marlon to convince April to speak to the police.
Filled with dread, Marlon rushes off and tracks down April, pleading with her to reveal what trouble she's in.
April sticks to the story that nothing is wrong, but she ultimately reaches breaking point and confesses that she's been selling illegal substances.
Back at home, Marlon and Rhona are determined to free April from her torment. Together, the couple convince her to forget about Ray's demands and stay with them, before Marlon gathers himself to visit the police station.
April desperately tries to put her dad off filing a report. With no other option left, April drops the bombshell that she killed Callum ? still unaware that he's alive and well.
Rhona and Marlon are beside themselves, but their misery is only just beginning ? as Celia learns that April has spilt her secrets?
"Most of Celia's mules are young people," explains Jaye Griffiths, who plays Celia. "So this is not a new problem ? it's about dealing with the fallout if they reveal the truth.
"Celia has many a contingency plan. This is the thing you deal with if you run a drugs operation ? using kids who are intrinsically unreliable. This is not the first time."
Marlon, Rhona and April are horrified to open the door to find Celia staring back at them. The vile criminal makes out that she wants to discuss something with the trio, then answers a video call from Ray and props up the phone for all to see.
As Marlon and Rhona get to grips with their living nightmare, will they fight back against Celia and Ray? Or will they bow down to keep their young family safe?
"April telling Marlon and Rhona everything means that Celia will have to explain to them in no uncertain terms what their new reality is," Jaye adds.
"April will have brought this upon her own family - Celia warned her what would happen. Celia doesn't make threats, empty or otherwise, she just states realities and consequences. And the consequence of this is, 'Now I own your family.' They should very, very much be scared."

Emmerdale's Celia Daniels scores another victory tonight ? as smitten Bob Hope chooses her as his confidant. With April Windsor's family optimistic that a positive turning point is on the cards for the troubled teen, Bob makes the mistake of telling evil Celia all about it.
Celia has made it a top priority to keep April part of her criminal empire over the past few weeks, but she fears that her influence will wane when she hears some news from Bob.
In new scenes, Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk consider inviting April back home after weeks of near-estrangement. April moved into the B&B a few weeks ago, as she was in disgrace with her family after being responsible for her younger brother Leo's accidental drug overdose.
When Marlon, Rhona and Bob catch up at The Woolpack tonight, they're all in agreement that April seems to be on the right track and deserves another chance. This would mean April moving out of the B&B, where her grandfather Bob has been looking after her.
As Celia has successfully managed to hide her true agenda, Bob is only too happy to confide in her following the discussions with Marlon and Rhona.
"I don't want to tempt fate, but things do seem to be getting better all round," Bob explains.
"Marlon and Rhona are thinking of asking her to move home again. I'll miss her, obviously ? but it's where she belongs."
Bob's inadvertent tip-off sets Celia's mind whirring, as she wonders how to stay one step ahead.
It's clear that persuading Bob otherwise is out of the question, so Celia realises that other tactics will be needed to stay in control of April?
Fans can see how the drama plays out in full when the episode airs at 7.30pm on ITV1 tonight, or it's streaming early now on ITVX and YouTube.

Wow. I took some time off after that horribly dark episode with Bear and am so glad that I didn't have to see the episodes with Anya dying. I liked her and I liked how Ruby wanted to keep her safe.
But I think I can start watching again. Nothing seems different than it did two months ago. Celia stupidly wanted to keep a girl with ties in her business. Who does that? These people typically look for strays. If April were still on the streets I could really see this, but a girl living at home with her family, I'd think, would be way too risky.
But with the Christmas story with Lydia that I read about, and new focus on Belle again, I think it's safe to start watching my show again. I really love Emmerdale, just not when it gets too dark.
will celia "force" marlon and rhona work for her now too
Once she's around them for awhile, she'll be begging them to go their own ways or run for her sanity.
