Coronation Street villain Theo Silverton puts Todd Grimshaw through hell yet again next week ? just as Sarah Barlow cottons on to the scaffolder's shifty behaviour. After watching Theo climb into a van with Pete ? aka the fella that he cheated on Todd with ? Sarah marches over to have a word.

Through the van window, Sarah demands answers, but things quickly spiral out of control, leading Sarah to square up to both men. It seems Sarah finally may have Theo's number ? but it's bad news for Todd, as his boyfriend tales his anger out on him once again?

The week begins with Todd accusing Theo of forcing him into a half marathon, but the dad-of-two coldly claims that it's in his best interests and that he's organised a run for them later that day.

Subsequently, Theo unveils a full-length mirror in front of Todd, claiming that he can use it to keep an eye on his physique. Bound to Theo's controlling routine, Todd soon heads out on another run, which pushes him to the point of exhaustion.

Before Todd and Theo make it back to the flat, James Bailey catches sight of them and throws a flirty comment in Todd's direction. Immediately, Theo makes his partner pay for James's behaviour by demanding that they do another lap.

Back at the flat, James unexpectedly turns up with fitness equipment and insists on showing Todd how best to use it. During the demonstration, Theo can barely contain his frustration but somehow manages to keep a lid on his temper until he and Todd are alone.

With James gone, Theo cruelly accuses Todd of having a crush on James. Todd swears that it's not true, but it's not enough to quash Theo's twisted theory.

As Theo grips Todd by the neck, just how violent will things become? And might Sarah be on the verge of working out the truth about her best mate's volatile fella?

"As we move further along we're starting to see that Theo's not just a complicated man, he's potentially a very dangerous man," explains James Cartwright, who plays the abuser.

"The flaws and the damage within him are now manifesting in a way that I'm not even sure he can control. And it's potentially putting people at risk?"

Coronation Street's Carla Connor tells Lisa Swain that it's over between them next week, after finding her fianc?e in a very compromising situation with her estranged wife Becky. Becky has been a sticking point in Swarla's relationship ever since she came back from the dead, but in next week's scenes, Carla decides enough is enough.

The drama plays out as Lisa stands Carla up ? then Carla finds her at home with Becky?

"Lisa is supposed to be meeting Carla for a romantic lunch date, but she never shows up," our Corrie source explains. "When gutted Carla gets home, she finds freshly-showered Becky descending the stairs wearing nothing but Lisa's bath robe!

"It certainly looks damning, and Carla's heartbroken at the idea that Lisa could've cheated ? it's enough for her to end their relationship for good."

Little does Carla know, this is the just latest of meddling Becky's attempts to come between her and Lisa. Earlier, when Becky gets wind of her wife's lunch plans with Carla, she gets drunk in the street, forcing the detective to take tipsy Becky back to No.6?

"Hammered Becky starts lamenting to Lisa about everything she's lost," our spy continues. "Lisa innocently shoves her ex in the shower to sober her up, which Carla misinterprets.

"Through her kind-hearted attempt to help scheming Becky, Lisa has lost the love of her life."

It's not the only mischief that Becky gets up to next week, either. When she receives an ominous funeral wreath that reads "Rest in Peace ? Again!", she becomes certain that Costello is behind it.

Snapping a secret picture of some teenage girls at the Precinct, she forwards it to Costello ? and he is horrified to see his daughter in the image.

"Becky has made it very clear to Costello that if he gets in the way of her plans, she'll target his daughter," our insider reminds us. "They have tense words on the phone, but neither of them is aware that Kit is listening in to the call. Whatever he hears, it makes him seriously suspicious?"

Becky reveals she's been sent a funeral wreath with the message 'Rest in Peace - Again!'.

Betsy's in a state of panic as Becky meets with Costello, telling him that whoever sent the wreath means business and she intends to get to the bottom of it.

In the precinct, Becky furtively takes pictures of a group of teenage girls.

At the station, Kit arrives for his promotion interview as Costello opens a message and is shaken to see a picture of his daughter. As Kit goes, Costello takes a call from Becky. Outside the office, Kit listens, intrigued.

Meanwhile, with Debbie due back in work, Carl surreptitiously stamps 'Paid' on an invoice from Preston's Petals. When Tracy calls in with flowers for an event, Carl tells Ronnie that according to Debbie she paid Tracy's invoice but he can't find any record of it. Carl explains to Tracy that due to an oversight she hasn't been paid but he'll sort it.

Tracy's furious, but a tearful Debbie tells Ronnie that her symptoms appear to be getting worse. Ronnie suggests she should give up work, will Debbie agree?

Elsewhere, exhausted and masking her guilt, Fiz tells Tyrone that Cilla has to go in for an operation and there's no one to look after her. Tyrone insists she must go and assures her that he can cope for a few days.

Tyrone calls at the cab office and tells Cassie he needs a lift to physio. Taking off her headset, Cassie insists on driving him. Will Tyrone see progress at his session?

Also today, when Todd accuses Theo of rail-roading him into doing a half marathon, Theo tells him that it's for his own good and they'll be going for another run later as part of their training.

Finally, Kevin shows Steve and Dev the barrel of beer and the dart board he's bought and explains he's recreating his own pub so he can avoid Abi and Carl.

Dev reveals that Asha has asked him to visit tomorrow.

Knowing Lisa is due to meet Carla for lunch, Becky plots. Finding Becky on the street, clearly drunk, Lisa takes her home to sober her up. Becky explains that she hit the bottle to block out the fact she's lost everything.

Having taken a shower, Becky descends the stairs wearing Lisa's bathrobe, just as Carla arrives having been stood up. As Carla takes in the scene, she's devastated and orders Becky out of the house. When Lisa fails to back her up, could this be the end for Swarla?

When Costello fails to show up for work, Kit becomes concerned.

Meanwhile, Todd asks if he's heard from Pete, Theo lies, making out Pete's not returning his calls. Sarah clocks Theo and Pete looking pally as they climb into a van. Sarah taps on the window and demands to know what Theo's doing. Theo reveals that he and Pete have signed a contract and he's planning to surprise Todd. When Pete likens Sarah to an attack dog, Todd turns the corner to see Sarah squaring up to Theo and Pete. As a horrified Todd ushers her away, Theo's incandescent.

Elsewhere, Dev visits Asha in the mental health unit. Asha explains that she's ready to come home but whilst she knows she has the full support of her family, she's worried as none of her friends have been in touch. Dev rounds on Summer, Nina and Amy for abandoning Asha and reveals that because of their lack of support, she's not sure she wants to come home.

Also today, Chesney arrives at the hotel with pizzas for Debbie's choir practice. But he's taken aback to see Fiz in reception, wondering why she's not at Cilla's.

Finally, Debbie and Glenda row over song choice for the choir.

Theo drags a full length mirror out and explains to Todd that now he can keep a daily check on his physique.

An exhausted Todd returns from his run with Theo. But as James flirts with Todd, Theo insists they do another lap.

Back at home James calls round with some fitness gear for Todd and insists on showing him how to use it. Theo can barely mask his irritation.

As James heads out, Theo accuses Todd of fancying James. Todd assures him it's not true but Theo grabs him and vents his anger.

Meanwhile, Kit tells Lisa about the attack on Costello. When he suggests Becky might be responsible, will Lisa accept this?

Her heart broken, Carla decides she's going to call time on her relationship. Carla breaks the news to Lisa that it's over between them. Lisa's stunned.

Elsewhere, Nina and Amy visit Asha and present her with a jigsaw they've created of them all. When they explain that Summer has uni commitments and hopes to come later, Asha hides her hurt. Summer finally arrives but suddenly grabs the door frame and passes out.

Also today, at the hotel, Carl changes the password on the accounting system and refuses to share it with Ryan, reminding him that from now on finances are his domain.

Finally, Debbie panics when an email confirms she's to speak at an event tomorrow.
