Home and Away Spoilers: A horror crash rocks Summer Bay
Multiple lives are on the line in the season final
    e.

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/enterta...-horror-crash/

For Home and Away fans, the past few months have been tumultuous to say the least. After bidding farewell to Irene and grieving the loss of Theo, there's been plenty of change in the air. But it's not over yet. In an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming season finale, a horror train crash will leave multiple lives in the balance.

Plus, a shocking proposal takes place. Who will ask the question?

As the week begins, the Summer Bay community is brimming with excitement for the upcoming Off the Rails music festival in Broken Hill.

Remi (Adam Rowland) is hoping to highlight his recently signed artist, Eddie (Stephen Madsen), whose popularity could lead to new ventures for the label.

Meanwhile, Eddie is keen to spend some quality time with Jo (Maddison Brown) after reconnecting. His arrival in town reignited a lost spark between them, although she was secretly dating Tane (Ethan Browne) at the time.

"There's so much water under the bridge between her and Eddie, she lost her mum and then their relationship fell apart," Maddison tells TV WEEK. "He was her first love, and the 'what ifs' of their love story draw her back to him."

The rejection is another crushing blow for Tane, who is also handling the arrival of Archie?s grandmother. Her past with substance abuse has him on high alert. Tane fears for his son's safety, and his ongoing conflict with Harper (Jessica Redmayne) has led to the ex-couple seeking legal counsel.

With the offer to escape the drama of her romantic life, Jo seizes the opportunity to accompany Eddie to the festival.

She is joined by her sister Lacey (Sophea Pennington), Mack (Emily Weir), Dana (Ally Harris), Abigail (Hailey Pinto), as well as Sonny (Ryan Bown) and Justin (James Stewart) - not to mention the many other partygoers who are all boarding the 'party train' that will take them to the festival.

"Jo is grappling with what is the right thing to do, but, when it comes to the festival, she is just looking forward to a few days to catch a breather," Maddison says.

The same goes for Justin. He has struggled to connect with wife Leah (Ada Nicodemou) since Theo?s (Matt Evans) death and Irene?s (Lynne McGranger) departure.

To spare another argument, Justin lies about his whereabouts and boards the train. But Leah soon finds out and is heads for the station. Will she get on board, too?

As the partygoers revel in the festival fun, none of them are clued in to the tragedy about to strike. The drinks are pouring freely and the music blares? as the train picks up speed. It rattles towards a dark tunnel with no end in sight...

With no warning and a sharp jolt, the train skids off the tracks and flips. Passengers are propelled forward and everything turns dark.

"We know someone dies, but we don't know who. Or who survives," Maddison tells us.

    Who will survive?

Home and Away Season Finale Week begins Monday November 17, 7pm on Channel Seven

Looks like Eddie is a temp character, might end up dead from the accident. Can’t see any other characters leaving for good. But 2 people end up dead after signing up with Remi will make it really bad luck for the record label. Remi is the other character without any other connections at the moment. They’ll have to keep bringing in new artists to keep up with his record label storyline or it’ll be another Lyrik flop.

    TV WEEK article:

    "Forgive and Forget
Harper's Mum arrives in Summer Bay.
    But has she really changed?

She has every reason not to want a relationship with her troubled mother. But this week, Harper welcomes her to Summer Bay - and opens a Pandora's Box to the past.

In the season finale of Home and Away, Harper (Jessica Redmayne) and Tane (Ethan Browne) are working through their parenting arrangements. Since Archie was born, the exes agreed to not seek out legal advice and remain harmonious in co-parenting their son. But that promise was quickly broken when Harper visited her mother, a former drug addict, and became convinced she has changed.

Both Tane and sister Dana (Ally Harris) were outraged and neither willing to forgive or forget the past - and when Harper suggested that their son should meet his grandmother, Tane took drastic action and left town with Archie. Harper was furious and put Tane on notice: bring him home or she will call the police.

"Harper and Tane have been amicable co-parents, and were finally finding peace and harmony within their little family," Jessica tells TV WEEK. I don't think either of them thought they'd one day need to get lawyers involved."

Now, they're contemplating legal counsel - just as mum, Kerrie (Sara Wisemen), arrives in town.

Opening the door, Harper is stunned to see her mum on her doorstep. But Kerrie walks inside, her first instinct to see baby Archie. Harper implies that now isn't the right time, quietly fretting about how to handle her mother's unexpected arrival with Dana and Tane.

When Harper leaves to run errands, Kerrie defies orders to stay put and heads into town. It's not long before she runs into Dana, who is furious at the sight of her mother, and warns Tane. He, in turn, demands answers from his ex, refusing to acknowledge Kerrie. Disappointed, Harper mulls over what to do.

"Harper is upset Tane won't give her mum a chance," Jessica says. "Harper is desperate to give Archie more family and a fuller life than she had."

The following day, Kerrie makes her move and suggests that Harper seek further legal advice in the wake of Tane's actions - he was way out of line. And perhaps Harper could convince him to let her meet Archie. After all, he is her grandson...

Is she simply a doting grandmother or does she have an agenda? "

    Also:

    " "Marry Me"
    Eddie proposes to Jo!

Caught between two lovers, Jo has struggled to figure out what she wants - or, more precisely, who she wants in recent episodes. Now, after seemingly making her choice to be with Eddie, he surprises her with a proposal! Will she say yes?

On board the train taking partygoers to the Off The Rails music festival in Broken Hill, Jo (Maddison Brown) is still coming to terms with her choice to be with Eddie (Stephen Madsen). The decision came at a cost, with Tane and Jo now on very awkward terms. All Jo wants is a drama-free weekend...

"But Eddie has other ideas," Maddison tells TV WEEK with a laugh.

Swept up in the moment, Eddie kneels before Jo and asks her to marry him. Sister Lacey (Sophea Pennington) watches on in shock as the entire crowd waits for her answer. It should be everything she's ever wanted. But is it?

"Jo is happy to reconnect with Eddie but getting engaged is a huge decision," Maddison teases. "

Not a spoiler for tonight's Aust season finale, but a nowtolove.com.au article about 'Home And Away's top 6 deadliest and most devastating finales' over the years:

Home And Away's top 6 deadliest and most devastating finales
    We count them down!

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/enterta...cliff-hangers/

Ahead of Home and Away's earth-shattering train crash in this year's season finale, the big question we'll be left with is: who will die?

Channel Seven has already teased that someone will perish because of the deadly derailment, but will it be one of our favourites? We'll have to wait until 2026 for the answer to that one.

We do know what Summer Bay stalwart Alf (Ray Meagher) will most likely say when he gets wind of the accident: "Stone the flamin? crows!"

Of course, H&A is no stranger to cliff hanger season finales. Since the show began, we?ve seen floods, kidnappings and killings.

And in the 2016 season finale, a bushfire lit by an arsonist - who we learnt was John Palmer (Shane Withington) - threatened a crowd at a music festival headlined by Jessica Mauboy. Maybe music festivals are a bad idea?

But which season finales are top of the pile? Let's count down the six unforgettable H&A finales that stood out like a River Boy at the ballet.

The 6 best Home and Away cliff hanger finales

    6. Bus crash (2014)

Some of the best H&A finales involve several key characters brought together in one shocking storyline with multiple lives at stake (like a train crash!).

Here, hunky Dr Nate (Kyle Pryor) was knocked out and doused in petrol by his crazed ex, Sophie (Bridgette Sneddon). They are then involved in a car crash with a bus carrying, among others, a pregnant Ricky (Bonnie Sveen) and Leah (Ada Nicodemou). But wait, Brax (Stephen Peacocke), Ricky's baby daddy, is also involved in the crash in a third vehicle.

Phew, we're breathless just recalling the details.

    5. The flood (1996)

Torrential rain wreaked havoc on the Bay causing a massive flood in the 1996 final.

When Michael Ross (Dennis Coard) stopped to yell a message to Alf, young Sam Marshall (Ryan Clark) fell into a flooded river.

Michael jumped in to try and rescue his foster son but was swept to his death.

    4. Hospital siege (2019)

Talk about tense! Lives are in danger when a crime gang linked to Robbo (Jake Ryan) trap Summer Bay residents in the Northern Districts Hospital and hold them hostage.

When nurse Mason (Orpheus Pledger) stands up to the crims, he is shot dead. So brutal. So memorable.

    3. Charlie is shot by Jake (2011)

This one was heartbreaking for fans. And the big reason was because it signalled the end of the Brax and Charlie (Esther Anderson) era. Charlie was on her last shift before moving away from the Bay with Brax, Casey (Lincoln Younes) and Ruby (Rebecca Breeds). But crim Jake Pirovic (Fletcher Humphrys) had other ideas, sinking two bullets into Charlie as payback for the death of his brother, Hammer (Benedict Samuel). The agonising wait until the next year to find out whether Charlie would pull through. And when she didn't, it was like someone had pulled the ground out from under us. Devastating.

    2. Sally is stabbed and left for dead! (2006)

    Poor Sally (Kate Ritchie)!

After the death of husband, Flynn (Joel McIlroy), Sally's life appeared to have turned around when she shared sneaky kiss with work colleague, Brad (Chris Sadrinna).

But in a horror twist, Rocco (Ian Meadows) follows through on his brother's orders and stabs Sally, leaving her for dead.

    1. Who shot Charlotte? (2015)

They don't make finales like this anymore.

And it's a real shame, because the buildup, execution (no pun intended) and investigation the following year made this one of the best storylines of the modern era of the show. Teacher Charlotte King (Erika Heynatz) was a blonde cyclone, leaving a trail of bloody destruction in the Bay.

This included, but was not limited to, accidentally killing Denny (Jessica Grace Smith). By the time Charlotte was shot in the season finale, half the town wanted her dead. Yep, it was a long list of suspects which was fully explored in 2016. with the killer finally being revealed as Josh Barrett (Jackson Gallagher).

The Home and Away 2025 finale airs tonight on Channel Seven, with the show returning in 2026. As fans wait to learn who dies in the train crash, one thing's certain: nobody does cliffhanger finales quite like Home and Away.

Home and Away will return in 2026 on Channel Seven and 7Plus.
