Coronation Street fans should prepare for an old-school ruckus in The Rovers next week, as livid Abi Webster punches Tracy McDonald in the face. But with her estranged husband Kev looking on, will Abi live to regret her fit of rage?
As Abi shares a quiet moment with new partner Carl in the pub, Tracy spies an opportunity to rile up her former friend. From the bar, Tracy cruelly declares that Kevin is the only decent parent that Abi's young son Alfie has ever had, sending Abi into overdrive?
"Abi leaps up and thumps Tracy," our Corrie source reveals. "One look at these pictures will tell you just how much energy she launches into the punch, too.
"Stunned, Tracy staggers away, then Abi turns around to see Kevin staring at her. It's bad news, but she should count her lucky stars that it's not a copper standing at the door."
Before the chaos kicks off, Abi receives a call from Alfie's nursery explaining that her little one is feeling poorly. As a result, Abi believes that she needs to cancel her counselling session, until Roy Cropper points out that she could call on Carl to pick up Alfie instead.
Carl accepts Abi's request, but he struggles to bond with Alfie as the tot refuses to engage with him in the caf?. And when Kevin walks in, Alfie's mood immediately lifts, which convinces Carl to hand the toddler over to his older brother. Will Carl's tricky day with Alfie impact his relationship with Abi?
Later in the week, Abi questions Carl over whether he's happy with the new life that they're leading. In response, Carl reassures his girlfriend that he's fully committed, before proving it with a romantic gesture at the flat.
"Carl pulls out all the stops for Abi," explains our spy. "She returns home after taking Alfie to nursery to find candles dotted all over the place. It brings a huge smile to Abi's face, and the pair share a cute embrace.
"Carl is clearly chuffed with himself and wants to enjoy the moment as much as he can, so when he notices Abi's phone ringing while she's nipped to the bathroom, he declines the call. Here's hoping it's something that can wait."
Subsequently, Abi and Carl take a seat at The Rovers, where Abi explains that Jack blanked her in the street. Sympathetic, Carl offers Abi a cuddle, knowing how much the teenager means to her. But when Tracy turns up and lambasts Abi's skills as a mother, her despondent mood is made even worse.
As Tracy recovers from her almighty smack, will Abi face the consequences of her actions? And given Kevin's unexpected appearance, will he make Abi's life even more difficult than it already is?

oronation Street's Carla Connor is adamant that Becky Swain has waged war against her next week, as she's marched down the police station under suspicion of fraudulent activity. Is Carla right to suspect that Lisa's ex has set her up?
Outside the factory, Carla lovingly explains to Lisa that she's planned a special day full of treats to celebrate the anniversary of their first kiss. But their happiness is short-lived when she and Lisa are approached by a police officer, who explains that someone has tipped them off that fraud is being committed at her workplace.
Outraged, Carla insists to Lisa that Becky must be the complainant in question, before heading off to defend herself. Can Carla prove that she's a victim of a false accusation?
"Carla is beside herself with anger," our Corrie spy reveals. "What was supposed to be a perfect day remembering her first kiss with Lisa is ruined, all because some meddler wants to make her life a misery.
"Just before the policewoman guides her away from the factory, Carla makes it very clear to Lisa that she believes Becky is the only person who would've done such a thing. And it's not hard to see where she's coming from considering the bitter rivalry between the two women."
At the police station, Kit Green eventually confirms to Carla that she's free to go, given that there's no evidence to back up the report. However, Carla isn't ready to put the ordeal behind her so quickly.
Still certain that Becky was the one sullying her reputation and business, Carla is determined to have it out with the former copper. But what will Lisa make of it all?
"We're talking about Carla Connor here," our insider continues. "She isn't going to accept defeat and keep quiet about what just happened. But the situation puts Lisa in a really tricky position.
"If she tries to broker peace, Carla will feel unsupported ? and any tension between her and Lisa plays right into Becky's hands, whether she's guilty of what Carla's accusing her of or not."
As Carla seethes with rage, just how nasty will things become between her and Becky? And how will Lisa cope with the intense feud?

Coronation Street?s Sally Metcalfe gets the wrong idea about Tim?s old flame Trisha Pinkerton and causes a scene next week, leaving her red-faced and Tim feeling tetchy. Sally has grown concerned about the nature of her husband?s past relationship with Trisha and the topic has caused friction in their marriage.
The pair go for lunch and unluckily bump into Trisha at the Bistro, where Sally is quick to notice that Trisha?s dinner guest is a teenage boy. Unable to contain herself, Sally jumps to conclusions and flies into a rage at Tim?s ex-fling!
"Sally can?t resist having a pop at Trisha, but it doesn?t exactly go to plan," our Corrie source says. "It turns out the young lad is actually Trisha?s nephew, and Sally has the total wrong end of the stick.
"She should really apologise, but this is Sally ? she?s not one to back down from what she believes in, even when she?s wrong!"
When Sally continues to rant about Trisha, who she?s adamant groomed Tim into an underage sexual relationship, Tim orders her to drop her accusations before the kids notice the tension between them.
"After Sally caught Tim snooping on Trisha?s socials, she?s worried that he still has complex feelings for her and is determined to convince him that Trisha?s past actions were inappropriate," explains our insider.
"Unfortunately, Tim can?t see the truth and Sally?s insistence is putting a major strain on their marriage, which in turn is upsetting the balance at home for the Michaelis kids."
This week, Joanie returned home after she was temporarily placed somewhere else after being violent towards her sister Shanice. Sally and Tim are keen to prove that they can be a solid family unit for their foster children, but this drama with Trisha really could throw a spanner in the works.
Later, after the dramatic scenes at the Bistro, Brody asks Tim about what happened with Trisha ? but his foster dad snaps at him, leaving dejected Brody feeling hurt.
Will the issue of Trisha ultimately come between Sally and Tim and cause them to lose the new family that they?ve built?
