Emmerdale fans see Robert Sugden's romantic dilemmas continue next week, when ruthless Kev Townsend plans to renew their wedding vows. Torn between inheriting his husband's cash or committing to soulmate Aaron, which path will Robert choose?

"With John out of the picture, everyone thought Aaron would fall back into Robert's arms," begins our Emmerdale insider. "Then Robert's secret prison husband rocked up to ruin it all!

"Possessive Kev wants the world to know Robert belongs to him, so when he suggests a vow renewal, is it the final nail in the coffin for Robron?"

Since finding out Robert secretly got hitched while he was locked up, Aaron has been reeling at Mr Sugden's deception. Robert told Aaron they could still be together, but begged him for more time to let volatile Kev down gently.

Unsurprisingly, Aaron didn't go for it and their relationship fell apart.

Kev moving to Emmerdale is now rubbing salt in the wound for heartbroken Aaron, as he is forced to see Robert ? who he still loves deep down ? with another bloke every day.

Jealous of Aaron's history with his other half, scary Kev has warned his rival to stay away so him and Robert can live happily ever after.

Terminally ill Kev doesn't have long left, and is determined to spend his final days with the man he obsessively loves. If Robert stays married to him, he stands to inherit a tidy sum of money as his next of kin. But is it worth sacrificing his future with Aaron, after years of separation?

Even though he's literally threatened Aaron's life, unpredictable Kev assures Robert that he wants to end the bad feeling between them. Aaron tells Robert he wants nothing to do with him or crazed Kev, and warns he won't take any more threats lying down.

Sensing he needs a grand gesture to prove his commitment to Robert, Kev makes an announcement.

"Kev tells Robert he wants them to have a vow renewal!" reveals our spy. "Considering their first wedding was behind bars, it probably wasn't the most romantic of days.

"Robert agrees, but it's clear he's secretly reluctant as his heart still belongs to Aaron. What a mess!"

Loved-up Kev starts writing his vows for their second big day, but Aaron is upset the ceremony is going ahead, while Victoria can tell her brother's heart isn't in it.

Can she convince Robert to kick Kev to the kerb, so he can prove Aaron is the man for him?

A spark ignites between Emmerdale's Kerry Wyatt and her boss Jai Sharma next week as the pair have a passionate encounter in the factory office. Could the unlikely pairing surprise everyone at the depot by becoming a proper couple?

Kerry and Jai get trapped together this week after a furious fall-out, which leads to them seeing each other in a whole new light. And in follow-up scenes next week, the shift in dynamic develops further?

"A couple of weeks ago this pair could barely exchange a sneer ? and now they're enjoying a full-on snog session like their life depended on it," our Emmerdale insider says.

"It's Kerry who launches herself at Jai, but it's clear there has been a growing fondness between them since they found themselves trapped together at the depot.

"The usually combative pair both let their guard down and finally found common ground in their love for their kids. But it seems something else may have been kicked off by their deep and meaningful?"

The week begins with Kerry reiterating the advice she gave Jai after their recent encounter ? that he doesn't need to play the big man all the time.

She soon turns her words into actions after Jai's son Archie arrives at the depot and berates his dad for always putting work before him. Kerry tells Jai to get his priorities in order - and soon demonstrates that he can by making out that Jai is sick, to allow the dad to slip off from work and spend some quality time with Archie.

Later, Kerry is surprised to find herself defending Jai when Lewis Barton and Jimmy King talk about him, leading an intuitive Lewis to wonder if Kerry's new-found friendship is actually something more.

"Lewis's words hit home to Kerry as she starts to wonder herself what her feelings really are towards her boss," our source tells us. "Later, she and Jai chat at work as Kerry tries to uncover how Jai sees the situation.

"When Jai admits he finds her attractive, Kerry ? true to form ? wastes no time in getting stuck in as she heads in all-guns-blazing for a snog!"

But just as things are getting passionate, the pair are interrupted when Dylan arrives unexpectedly at the door. Jai and Kerry desperately try to cover but are left red-faced by their close call.

With Kerry and Jai reeling from their encounter, gossip-hungry Nicola is quick to spot a definite intimacy between them and gets on Kerry's back wanting to know just what's gone on.

Jai and Kerry may have shared a kiss, but do they want to be suddenly branded the village's hot new couple, which is exactly what will happen if Nicola blows this out of all proportion for the locals?

"Let's face it ? Kerry's had more snogs than Nicola's served up frothy coffees, so why should this one be any different?" our spy says.

"However, Kerry is left wondering if she should spill the beans to Nicola. If she keeps quiet on what's going on, she could just trying to avoid being the subject of local tittle-tattle.

"Or could her silence be another sign that this frisson with Jai means more to her than just a quick pucker up in the back office?"

Chas exacerbates her worries, and returning home to Jacob and Sarah discussing babies resembling fathers, she snaps at them before apologising.

Meanwhile, Kev proposes a vow renewal service to Robert, leaving Aaron sickened when Robert accepts.

Elsewhere, with Archie disenchanted that his dad always puts work before him, Kerry tells Jai he needs to get his priorities in order and fakes a sickie for him so he can spend time with his son.
