Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd stands up for his best mate Aaron Dingle next week, after dangerous newcomer Kev issues a chilling death threat against his love rival. Will Mack convince Kev to leave Aaron be ? or has he just put a target on his own back?

After Aaron confides in Mack over how worried he is about Kev's dark side, Mack decides to risk it all and confront Robert's husband himself?

"Judging from these scenes, Kev's a bloke who can turn on a sixpence," our Emmerdale source warns. "He's a super dangerous man, and while there's no way that he would hurt Robert, anyone else is fair game if they cross him.

"Considering Mack has only just got one unhinged fella off his case, it's wild that he's prepared to go up against Kev."

Following the explosive events that saw Aaron learn the truth about Robert and Kev, Aaron returns home and faces pressure from his mum Chas to apologise to Vinny. However, hurt Vinny refuses to engage with Aaron and makes him leave.

Meanwhile, furious Kev lurks about the village watching Aaron. Over at the caf?, Aaron and Robert share a tense moment when DS Carter turns up looking for Kev in relation to an attack on an old friend. How much does the ex-con know, and does he have some explaining to do?

Later at The Woolpack, Vinny finds it within himself to accept an apology from Aaron. However, the reconciliation is rudely interrupted when Robert and Kev turn up unexpectedly.

As the couple linger in the pub, Aaron realises that Robert has told Kev about Aaron's painful past with his father Gordon, and snaps.

"What was Robert thinking?? questions our source. "Aaron's past with Gordon is deeply personal to him, and Robert sharing that information with Kev is yet another kick in the teeth."

Once alone with Aaron, Chas does all she can to support her son through his heartbreak. But Aaron's nightmare isn't over, as he returns home to his flat to find Kev waiting to deliver a sickening death threat?

The next day, Robert is devastated after he bumps into Aaron and learns that Kev has terrorised him. With that, Robert grills Kev about his behaviour, which ignites tension between the pair, before another showdown with Aaron fuels an already precarious situation.

So, when Aaron opens up to Mack about his dicey ordeal with Kev, his loyal friend takes matters into his own hands.

As Mack shows up for a word with Kev, can he smooth things over? Or will Mack make the situation 100 times worse for himself and Aaron?

Emmerdale's April Windsor and Dylan Penders find a way to escape evil Ray Walters next week, as they plan to flee the village with a bag of his cash to start a new life. But what will the consequences be if the ruthless drug dealer rumbles what they're up to?

"This is a dangerous move for the two teens, as Ray and his mum Celia won't take kindly to losing a wad of money and two of their best workers," our Emmerdale insider warns.

"If the teens are caught out, they'll be made to pay for their betrayal ? and that could see terrible consequences for them both."

Recent weeks have already seen Dylan and April under pressure. Ray is busy using Dylan as his man on the inside at Caleb Miligan's warehouse, while it seems Celia wants April to provide more than just drugs to some of their clients.

However, an opportunity to escape arrives after a police detective spots Ray in the village with Dylan. Although DS Carter is there to see Kev, she's intrigued to spot that Ray and the kids clearly know each other.

With Dylan having just executed a big drugs drop, Ray is clutching a bag bursting with cash, so he quickly dumps it over a wall, before striding over to talk to Carter and draw her attention away from the cash.

Meanwhile, a mix-up sees Lewis Barton and Vinny Dingle move the rucksack into Dale View along with some other bags. When Ray realises it's gone, he orders Dylan to retrieve the bag from the house.

Dylan initially panics when he fails to charm his way in, but is relieved when he later spots an opportunity to nab Vinny's keys.

April is also under pressure, as Ray tells her she's got to go and meet a client. April doesn't want to and hopes to find a way to wriggle out of it, but she soon realises that she has no choice.

"The pair are both under so much pressure," shares our source. "But they're both trying to protect each other, so even when Dylan notices April is out of sorts, she covers her worries. They're both terrified about that the future might hold."

It seems there's worse to come after Dylan sneaks into Dale View, but returns empty-handed, leading an irate Ray to threaten and berate him. When April spots Dylan on Main Street, it seems they have both resigned themselves to their fate. But there's a twist in this tale?

"Dylan has a surprise in store for April ? Ray's bag is packed with cash," our spy adds. "Showing April the swag, Dylan reveals that it's enough for them to run away together and escape Ray and Celia's clutches.

"As the pair plot to flee, a video message from Ray soon reminds them of what they are risking. Will they make the break while they still can?"

DS Carter arrives looking for Kev to question him about an attack on an old friend.

Later, peace is shattered in The Woolpack by Robert and Kev's arrival. Aaron's resolve breaks when it becomes clear Robert has told Kev about his past with Gordon.

Before long, Kev confronts Aaron?

Meanwhile, DS Carter, having just questioned Kev, spots Ray on Main Street. Ray ditches the backpack Dylan gave him and goes over to speak with Carter. DS Carter watches Ray leave, unknowingly stopping him from collecting his bag.

Elsewhere, Ruby discovers Anya packing to leave and, furious with Caleb, tells Anya she can stay. Ruby argues with Caleb for trying to get Anya to leave, making it clear she's staying.

Dylan meets April on Main Street and reveals he found the bag after all and stole all the money from it - enough for them to run away together.

Meanwhile, Kerry meets Matty at the shop with Jacob and they read the coroner's report on the limo crash.

Despite getting calls from Jai over her absence from work, Kerry is focused on cheering up a heartbroken Matty and tries to lift the mood with a drinking game. Jai walks in and, not understanding the emotional context, fires her on the spot.
