I don't think Neighbours will come back, not unless there is a drastic change, but even then, Channel 10 only wants to focus on reality TV. Channel 7 won't buy it. Ditto Channel 9. No streaming platform will take it on - it's not suited to a streaming platform. It was better off it. UK won't be spending money.

3 Neighbours spoilers as Remi's new love interest is revealed
    Cara has a rival...

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...love-interest/

Neighbours spoilers follow for the episode airing on Monday 15 September.

    1. Remi meets a new love interest

Neighbours airs a major romantic dilemma for Remi Varga-Murphy next week ? as she wonders whether to move on from her estranged wife Cara.

Remi is put on the spot when a casual acquaintance starts flirting with her at work. As things with Cara are very far from back on track, is it time for her to consider other options?

"Remi is at a crossroads in her life," our Neighbours insider explains. "She's made a commitment to Cara, promising that she wants to remember her and hopefully save their marriage.

"Despite a couple of false starts, though, Remi still doesn't recall a single thing about her old life with Cara after being diagnosed with amnesia.

"They seem to be in a good place, but Remi can't ignore the obvious problem ? she doesn't feel any sparks of romance with Cara."

Remi's unease comes to a head at The 82 when one of her regular customers expresses a romantic interest in her.

It's just banter at first, until the lady in question offers her number and asks Remi out.

Remi feels torn between her marriage to Cara and the possibility of a more fulfilling relationship with someone else. What will she do?

    2. Susan faces a budget cut backlash

Susan Kennedy has a tough job on her hands ? getting the Eirini Rising residents on board with budget cuts.

The old folk refuse to budge over the loss of their little luxuries and Susan struggles with how best to handle the situation. She seeks advice from Jane Harris, but still has no luck.

The usual suspects prove particularly tough to handle, with Hilary Robinson starting a petition and Gino Esposito vocally supporting it.

    3. Elle spots an opportunity to betray a neighbour

Elle Robinson meets up with Wesley, editor of the Daily Monster, in the hope of securing some journalism work following her move from New York. It doesn't go well, as Wesley is only interested in hiring Elle if she can bring in a big and noisy story.

Terese Willis tries to make Elle feel better by taking her on a tour of the neighbours, hoping to help her make some new friends. However, when Elle spots a potential scoop in Cara's house, she wonders whether to forget about friendships and ruthlessly expose it...

3 new Neighbours spoilers as one family flees from Erinsborough in terror
    And it's all Elle's fault...

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...-flees-terror/

Neighbours spoilers follow for the episode airing on Tuesday 16 September.

    1. Elle puts the Varga-Murphys in danger

Neighbours returnee Elle Robinson sparks chaos and fury next week, as she goes public with a juicy story about the Linwell brothers.

Elle succumbs to the pressure as she desperately tries to impress newspaper editor Wesley, who's in charge of the Daily Monster publication.

After being fired from her job in the US and moving back to Erinsborough, Elle is aiming to secure some journalism work.

When she meets Wesley, he refuses to hire her unless she can prove herself by bringing in a big and noisy scoop.

"Elle is determined to show the world that she's still a worthy journalist despite her recent sacking," our Neighbours insider explains.

"During a visit to the Varga-Murphy house, where she's supposed to be getting to know the neighbours, Elle spots Cara's classified police documents on the Linwell brothers.

"Realising this is exactly the kind of exclusive that Wesley is looking for, Elle uses the information to write an attention-grabbing article?"

Sadly, Elle is only proceeding with part of the story and her reckless actions leave the Varga-Murphys in danger with the Linwells all over again.

Just as Elle celebrates her career achievement, she's dismayed as Terese Willis, Susan Kennedy and Leo Tanaka all turn their backs on her.

"Cara also wastes no time before confronting Elle over how foolish she's been," our source adds.

"Will Elle apologise, or stand firm amid a growing backlash from Ramsay Street's residents?"

    2. Four residents are forced to flee

Cara receives a threatening text following the publication of Elle's article. The police suggest that Cara and her family should move into a safe house to protect themselves against the Linwell brothers.

Remi, JJ, Dex and Taye agree to visit Apollo Bay, where they'll stay with Remi's father for a while. However, Cara decides that her presence would only put her loved ones in danger, so she urges them to go without her.

The timing couldn't be worse, coming just as Cara was starting to make progress with Remi again.

    3. An important meeting could spark change at Eirini Rising

Susan asks Terese and Colton Keys to join her for an important meeting to discuss how to save Eirini Rising.

A plan to implement harsh budget cuts has failed, as the residents are in mutiny over the suggestion.

The trio discuss a possible partnership between Eirini and the Sunset Group ? the organisation that Colton represents. Could this be the best solution for all concerned?

5 new Neighbours spoilers reveal nasty shock for Cara as the Linwells strike
    Cara and Andrew are stunned.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...inwells-shock/

Neighbours spoilers follow from the episode airing on Wednesday 17 September.

    1. Cara's father is beaten up.

Neighbours introduces Cara Varga-Murphy's father Greg in dramatic circumstances next week, as he's targeted by the Linwell brothers.

The shocking development comes after Cara's estranged wife Remi, sons JJ and Dex, and brother-in-law Taye Obasi all flee from Ramsay Street due to the threat posed by the Linwells.

Upcoming episodes see Elle Robinson stumble across Cara's confidential files focusing on the criminal siblings.

She leaks the new police investigation to a newspaper, which puts Cara's loved ones in danger once again.

"Cara is livid when her entire family has to flee in terror thanks to Elle's antics," our Neighbours source explains.

"She makes it clear that Elle's behaviour is unacceptable, but then realises that the consequences are far from over?"

Cara and her sister Chelsea fear for the safety of their father Greg when they can't get in touch with him over the phone.

Desperate for answers, Cara checks on her dad by heading to the fishing spot that he was driving to before going off radar. She also brings her colleague Andrew Rodwell along for back-up.

"When they arrive, Cara and Andrew discover that Greg has been roughed up," our insider adds.

"It's a clear warning from the Linwells, but will they stop there?"

    2. Elle refuses to back down

Elle continues to face a backlash for leaking the Linwell story, but Wendy Rodwell sees things differently and praises her for the huge impact of her article.

Taking this on board, Elle decides to keep pursuing the Linwell story. She offers to move out of No.22 so that Terese Willis doesn't get caught in the crossfire, but Terese decides that it's smarter to keep her enemy close?

    3. Holly breaks Max's heart again

Holly Hoyland asks Krista Sinclair whether there are any Lassiters opportunities interstate, as she looks ahead to a future with Andrew away from Erinsborough. Andrew gets spooked and warns Holly not to move too quickly.

Later, oblivious Max Ramsay asks for Andrew's opinion on whether he stands any chance of winning back Holly. This forces Holly to warn Max in no uncertain times that they're over for good.

    4. Susan's future is confirmed

Susan Kennedy and Terese Willis learn that the Sunset Retirement Group has finalised plans to go into partnership with Eirini Rising. Despite fears that Susan's job would be lost in the merger, the company decides to keep her on after all.

Colton Keys is pleased with the developments, which will allow him to return to Eirini as Sunset's official representative.

    5. Colton could be moving to Ramsay Street

Max steps in to give Colton a tour of the share house.

Colton is interested in becoming a new housemate ? will they seal the deal?
